So Fuu says...

2022 is an avalanche of puffs tumbling down the world of vaping. So much so that the market is completely overwhelmed by it. This is not without causing some problems because if everyone agrees that this format is an ecological mismanagement, it should also be noted that many smokers who had escaped the universe of the clouds despite the efforts made in their management ended up adopting the disposable, simple and intuitive device, and thus taking the path to smoking redemption!  

So there are pros and cons, as so often. And it doesn't matter. It keeps the debate alive... and the debate keeps the interest in the vape alive.

However, the puff is in the hot seat. Indeed, an unsustainable object in our “green” era, it also appears in the courtyards of high schools and colleges. This is not without raising the legitimate concern of the public authorities. Gateway to tobacco? Dangerous item? The elites gloat, mock and are moved by the invasion. One would think that it would be just for them to enforce existing laws to prevent the youngest from having access to the product or that the fact that traditional cigarettes have been dumping their butts in the school playground for a long time has not makes nobody gloat to this day. But that would be showing bad spirit, so we will not go on this ground. 🙄

More prosaically, some manufacturers are trying to defuse the movement by offering an alternative. Moonshiners, TJuice and others. And this is where Fuu's pragmatism comes into play.

What is a puff? Well, it's a disposable pod with very specific tastes, rather fresh fruity, confectioners or gourmet! Expensive, inspiring for the youngest and bad for the environment, why not try an educational approach by suggesting a range of liquids using the taste codes of the puff, the packaging of the puff and... its name. This is how Fuu brought us the Puff Juice range, dedicated to pods which are, between us, as easy to use as a puff, right?

We therefore have in front of us a typical packaging of a puff but, inside it, there are two bottles of e-liquid and not just any. These are five different flavors addressing all aspects of taste that people in general enjoy in puffs.

The bottles are 10 ml, carry levels of 0, 9 and 17 mg / ml of nicotine according to your choice and your needs and, icing on the cake, are made in France! And if you combine that with a pod, even a basic one, without airflow or power adjustment, you will inevitably have the same rendering and the same ease as the decried puff. It's as simple as the egg of Christopher Columbus and it has many advantages: more respectful of the environment, we know what's inside and the price per milliliter has nothing in common with that of puffs, on average 0.54 €/ml against 4.00 €/ml! 😲

The liquids are based on a PG/VG ratio of 40/60 which seems incongruous given the destination of the liquid towards the pods but we will check this later.

Strawberry Charlotte

And it starts rather strong with the fruity gourmand of the band. 

Unsurprisingly, this liquid perfectly matches the contours of its surname and develops a very addictive and gourmet taste.

The strawberry is present and rests on a biscuity bed with buttery notes and is accompanied by a light cream but full of unctuousness.

The liquid is sweet and still happy, you have to stay in the greedy and puff spirit at the same time, and vape without thinking all-day.

It quickly becomes essential, including on devices other than a puff.

Red fruits

The liquid is good and well made but it escapes a little from its primary purpose. 

We find a mix of red and black fruits with a predominance of strawberry and blackberry. Blackcurrant tints the taste at times and other less identifiable fruits.

The sugar level is contained, almost too much for the spirit of the range. We see that Fuu did not resist the sirens of moderation and that is precisely what prevents the liquid from bursting in the mouth as befits a typical puff juice. 

Same observation on the freshness which presents itself in a modest veil and does not freeze the taste buds. By wanting to do too well, Fuu makes a good juice, but dedicated above all to vapers! Not to puffers.

Mango peach

Here, the experience of the liquidator regains the advantage. 

We discover with pleasure a particularly successful cocktail of mango and peach.

Mango is sweet, gourmand and aqueous, almost floral at times and represents the top note.

The white peach takes over and provides a sweet and present heart note.

A light but welcome freshness follows the procession and ensures the refreshing part of the blend.

Frosted Grape

The freshness is there, it starts well. 

Here we have a mix between black grapes and white grapes which gives pride of place to subtle acidulous notes.

The sweetness is assumed by a very perceptible level of sugar which sticks a little to the lips.

A very good vintage that escapes the clichés of the genre by acquiring realism. It's grapes, not American grape syrup.

Pleasant to vape and assuming its freshness. To discover !

Tropical Icy Mix

The most “puff” of all, without dithering. 

We find cascading exotic fruits with notes of pineapple, sweet banana and mango on the finish.

It's greedy and sweet, as you would expect, while remaining within the limits of propriety.

The freshness is there and will freeze your throats.

A good liquid, particularly suited to its purpose.

...so Fuu does!

It is therefore to a convincing range that the Parisians of Fuu suit us with the Puff Juice.

We find indeed everything that makes the happiness of the users of puffs. Taste, sugar, freshness and delicacy. On some references, we are on the wiser but, from an educational perspective, we also understand the purpose of the liquidator to offer healthier and less caricatural alternatives.

It is therefore successful. It remains to check the high viscosity of the liquids. On the Flexus Stick used, this was no problem. The fact remains that some pods may be less tolerant with the VG rate. For this, I invite you to test with your own equipment knowing that if you do not find a shoe that suits you in this range, a very substantial catalog awaits you at Fuu with everything you need to seduce.
