The Box Prestige is mainly composed of two subjects with three different aspects.
The first has not escaped you, it is the wood coating, saturated in synthetic resin colored in red tones, which offers the aesthetic qualities of the wood by varying the color, the shimmering effects of the ribs, the shine of the polishing, by exfoliating the disadvantages of the deterioration of the material by humidity, or by temperature variations and other involuntary shocks.
The stabilized wood is impeccable, it plates the mod very well and perfectly matches the body of the aluminum box, revealing a large opening on the back which gives the impression that this wood has been molded around a very shiny aluminum tube . Ansi, the fragility of this material is perfectly mastered and gives the box a weight reduction.

On the other part, mainly the front, the top-cap and the underside of the box, the coating has an anthracite gray finish, with a mat aspect that does not mark any trace and remains pleasant to the touch. It is a color oxidation treatment which hardens the surface of the metal and thus provides a zinc appearance to minimize the weight of the mod and be more suitable for vape.
Visually, the materials blend perfectly and offer a magnificent cohesion. My regret is for the wood finish which I would have preferred shiny rather than satin, admittedly this remark is personal, perhaps my feminine side, but it is also relevant to note that valuables are often shiny. Given the cost of the product that does not belong to me and without wise advice for that, I have not tried to dismantle the stabilized wood part which seems to be interchangeable. An ingenious idea that makes this product an exception that we can not get enough of.
The top-cap is screwed on the box by three screws of type BTR around the 510 connection, none exceeds. At the center of this connection, a gold-plated, spring-mounted pin ensures a good contact and makes it possible to adapt to all the atomizers without the need for a preliminary adjustment. This oval shaped top-cap has been bevelled at the edges to not protrude and gives a smoother look to the box, a useful detail anyway, during use.
On the front, positioned near the cape: the switch. Its shape is simple round and classic, of course it works perfectly but I would have preferred to have a more prestigious button (inlaid of course). Below we have the 0.91 ″ OLED screen, perfectly proportioned to the whole with a clear visual and provided information that the SX350J offers. Following are positioned one below the other: the two adjustment knobs, they are also very responsive and agree with the metal switch. Then at the very bottom, there is an opening to connect a micro USB cable to recharge the battery or update your module if necessary.
Below: this part is fixed, as for the cap, by 5 BTR type screws ideally inserted so as not to interfere with the stability of the box. We discover the country of manufacture "Swiss made" and the unique serial number of the box. This is also where we have the round gold-plated hatch that allows you to insert the battery. This hatch is easy to unscrew but nothing is indicated for the polarity of the battery. This being the case, the large stud of this hatch is intended to be in contact with the negative face of the battery, logically.
On this occasion I tested different batteries because when we close this door after inserting the battery, I have a small offset of about 1mm that makes the box less stable once standing. This is not really a problem, however for a product of this quality, I think it can be improved without difficulty. E-Phonix is a manufacturer close to the users and listening, I allowed myself to share with him this defect which for me is important, so for the next Batch, this problem will be solved. For those who have this concern, I invite them to use Samsung batteries just shorter to mitigate the problem.

A rather sober packaging in a rigid cardboard box, entirely white on which sits the logo of E-Phoenix.
The box is comfortably placed in a foam not to move during delivery, below there is a micro USB cable with a drip-tip stabilized wood to match the finish of your atomizer with mod. A rare and very appreciable attention.
Too bad that no document or manual completes this pack because for its use the minimum would be to include the procedure to make it work. It is also compulsory to provide a user manual for any object operating with an electrical source, marketed in Europe. The use allows beginners to become familiar with this chipset by choosing the "NOVICE" procedure. The more experienced can choose a more detailed method with "ADVANCED" that allows you to adjust everything to best match your style of vape.
For the operating mode, in order to access the different settings, it is the total black, difficult to find an explanatory note. Unless you are bilingual and venture for hours on sometimes random videos of some users.

- 3 clicks to block / unlock the buttons

Two proposals are made: "ADVANCED" or "NOVICE"

Prestige is an exceptional bi-material product. It harmonises rustic and modern by combining wood impregnated with synthetic resin with aluminum in two different tones, all accompanied by a touch of gold by the pine and hatch, for a significant weight. In the end we get a chic and contemporary product of great quality and especially unique. The fault is also unique, it concerns the hatch when the battery is inserted, which hinders to obtain perfect stability, but it corrects quite easily.
The features are very simple for those who want to make the task easier, but can also be complex and characterized to fit a personalized vape. The Chipset offers a fair and precise quality of vape through a renowned chipset, the SX350J version 2.
Overall it's a nice product a little expensive but of great quality with a beautiful aesthetics all in a format really correct for comfortable and long-lasting capabilities.
