Latest generation of box from Aspire, the Pegasus offers a maximum power of 70W with the now unavoidable temperature control (reserved for Nickel and Titanium resistors). The quality of the products of this manufacturer is reflected in this material for a contained price. This is fortunate because there are no surprises or particular innovations with the Pegasus, at most its ergonomics.
It has an 18650 battery (not supplied) which you will ensure compatibility: flat top, 20A minimum.

From the grip, you feel its substantial weight (170g to which you will add 50g of battery and the atomizer), the rounded shape of the housing of the battery is positioned naturally in the palm, this box is designed for handling at index (firing and adjustments), but reverse gripping is also possible, although less pleasant.

The cover is opened to insert the battery with a finger, by pressing and pulling it outwards, it opens and remains attached to the box. This removable part has 6 degassing vents.

No screws or magnets, no possibility of losing part of the whole, this closing option is part of the ergonomic originality of this box.
The functional side where the OLED screen is located, protected behind a PMMA plate the length of the body of the Pegasus, only includes the "firing" switch. The width of this side is 18mm.
The adjustments are made by means of a metal knob which protrudes slightly on either side of the thin part, on the front of the body, screen side, near the top cap. Its diameter is 21,5mm.

In operation, at the very beginning, as soon as the battery is inserted with an ato mounted stainless steel, the box offers 18w of power, after 5 clicks of start-up. This is a native setting, you need to “switch” 3 seconds to access VW mode, automatic recognition of the resistance value is performed as soon as the ato is mounted.
From then on you are able to choose the power you want to vaper in increments of 1W, from 1 to 70W.

With a Ni 200 mount you can switch to TC mode by switching 3 seconds (if your battery is a little weak it can take twice as long).
The power delivered will then be 30W when the new ato is detected, having changed the setting mode. This first "pulse" cannot be configured, but essential for the system to calculate and configure the functions according to the existing configuration. You can then set your heating temperature in 10 ° F increments from 200 to 600 ° F.

The box is perfectly protected in its thermo-formed shell inside a black cardboard box discreetly marked with the name of the brand and a PEGASUS decorated with the mythological horse. On the back of the container you will find the serial number and an authenticity code to be scratched off and compared to a comparator on the manufacturer's website.

A strong, functional and reliable material, ideal in all situations except scuba diving. The Pegasus will suit men with larger paws, but ladies are free to adopt it if you like, its ergonomics are pleasant.

In the vape, it behaves very well, without latency, its functions are cut after a minute of inactivity, which may seem long to promote the autonomy of the batteries. On the other hand, it does not consume much energy in operation, it should be emphasized because it is rather appreciable when traveling.

Changing the battery is extremely easy and the cover is closed with one hand.

Its very large range of 0,1 resistance values accepted at 5 ohms make it a tool suitable for all vape habits, for all 510 atos on the market.

It is not revolutionary but well studied to last, another significant positive point.

The brand already famous for these atomizers has concocted a successful TC 70W box. Without being exceptional, it combines all the safety and adjustment functions common to other products from the big names in the sector and incorporates the ergonomic originality which advantageously sets it apart.
