Putaing cong! We can't say that this juice is for wimps. It hits the spot with a load of star anise so powerful it straightens your mustache! No doubt, it's pastis with not only the very pronounced anise aspect but also the plants that go with it: liquorice of course but also the necessary spices such as cardamom, cinnamon and others ...
For once, it's hyper-realistic, we have the impression of drinking pure pastis, without filter!
For the rest, on the other hand, it is less successful. No trace of barley syrup is found as the presence of pastaga crushes everything. Ditto for the freshness, totally absent.
In summary, the juice is spicy, definitely too strong and the realism of the pastis cannot compensate for the absence of the slightest ounce of sweetness. To be reserved for the rare allergic to water who drink their pastis plain without the hassle of a carafe!
The length in the mouth is in tune and even after three brushing teeth and a liter of coffee, we still feel the aniseed vapors on the tongue and lips. For example, Mad Murdock's Radiator Pluid is a nice joke compared to this liquid.

With devastating aromatic power, Pastis Mauresque should be reserved for very airy clearomizers to try to ventilate the aromas a little, which is totally out of step with the product's target market.

My mood ticket on this juice
It is extremely rare to find a 100% successful range from any manufacturer. The best flavorist in the world can't be brilliant every day. Here, the Moorish pastis disappoints and clashes in a range so far very correct and balanced.
Too powerful, too strong, too… too much, this liquid remains at the limit of vapable things and is lost in the realization of its promise by an excess of enthusiasm and a slightly heavy hand on the aromatic load.
