The Origin Tank is part of the large collection designed by Norbert who has offered us with talent various drippers, including Bottom-feeding, through Genesis atomizers and finally a tank dripper (RDTA) with the "Tiny".
The Original Tank therefore looks like an improved grind of the latest addition but in a more standard format in 22mm in diameter, while keeping a smaller atomization chamber, hence an original shape flared upwards.
This shape is not due to chance. Although it seemed a little strange to me at first, I must admit that you get used to it very quickly and that you find an undeniable charm in it. But it is not for aesthetic reasons that this reduction was carried out, but indeed for the flavors.
This atomizer is above all a flavor oriented RDTA with a single coil assembly. The plateau is therefore supported by a tank with a high capacity of 5,5ml, which remains to be verified. Its particularity is to have the reservoir positioned on the top with two capillary tubes in PEEK which feed the assembly at each suction by a compression system. In addition to the exceptional quality of the product, it is a wonderful atomizer made for absolute comfort of vape with a restitution of flavors and a magnificent vapor density.
However, the Origen Tank is not made for cloud-chasing, you can imagine.

When you have the Origen Tank in your hands, it's really enjoyable!
All stainless steel, the machining of the parts is flawless, this atomizer is beautiful. It is hardly an ato made to trade, but an object of passion in essence which applies to show meticulous attention, for the pleasure of the craftsman and that of the vapoteur.
The parts are meticulously crafted, one by one. It's zero flaws. The threads are pleasant and the joints are almost all lined for maximum support that will last over time. The design of the atomizer has been reflected on every point, right down to the gold-plated pine in order to maintain good conductivity and high resistance to corrosion. The capillary tubes in PEEK have a very high resistance (without deformation) to heat and the Makrolon tank (superior quality of polycarbonate) perfectly imitates pyrex with an excellent tolerance to corrosive liquids but also a greater impact resistance than glass .
The only downside is the capacity of the tank, which is announced at 5.5ml, while its capacity during my test is only 4,5ml, which is very comfortable, especially since it is not very greedy .
No engraving is apparent when this Origen tank is mounted, but under its base we distinguish the name of the product, its serial number and some other inscriptions.
It is a high-end product, the price of which is justified in my opinion, by its magnificent overall quality and the almost artisanal aspect, in the noble sense of the term, of the finishes.

Reviewer's comments on functional features
The first functional quality of this atomizer is its ease of assembly with two posts each having four holes to simply fix the resistance.
The airflow is adjustable in three different positions with an airhole of 1,5mm, a second of 2mm or a cyclops-type opening of 1,8mm x 6mm, adjustable in reduction. This atomizer is therefore not made for Cloud-Contests but suitable for a vape between 10 and 35W, with a simple resistance, while offering the right aeration that is suitable because it can be aerial if you so desire, Nevertheless.
The positive and negative posts are bevelled at the level of their base to offer a wider place for the capillary, so that it is easily imbibed, without hindrance and thus allow the vapor to circulate better without being “upset”, this which allows the atomizer to provide, through common sense details, a vapor loaded with flavors.
The heat dissipation is another great achievement since I did not feel the slightest rise in temperature on my lips or on the atomizer.
The pin provides excellent contact and can be adjusted via a BTR screw which is of the same size as the screws of the posts, so the allen key provided is used for the three screws, which is very convenient.

There is nothing to say about the drip-tip since it is not provided and, as always, I regret that a luxury atomizer does not come with the complete accessories that are suitable, especially to finish such a product, a simple black drip-tip, would have been perfectly suitable and would not have cost more.

Reviewer's comments on conditioning
The Original Tank is supplied with some accessories all the same…. We have, as usual, no protective box except the bubble wrap, but many additional seals with two spare screws and an allen key are provided.
However, no instructions, no explanation accompanies the ato which nevertheless deserves a user manual in order to correctly position each piece.
We will have understood that Norbert does not care to amaze us with a packaging worthy of the price of his atomizer ...

Reviewer's comments on the use of the product
The use of the Original Tank is simple but you have to be careful to position the parts correctly. The atomizer is divided into three parts: the upper part with the reservoir, the central part with the capillary tubes and the lower part with the mounting plate and the atomization chamber.
This RDTA is made for the simple coil. The resistance can be mounted on any side and, whether you are right-handed or left-handed, the fixing of the legs will be easy thanks to the quadruple drilling of the studs. The resistance thus fixed, it is necessary to position the cotton by passing it under the notch of the studs so as to free as much space as possible around the resistive, which allows to have even more flavors and not to interfere with the natural circuit of steam. Once the assembly has been completed, you will have to position the opening of the chosen airhole which is located on the bell (2), facing the resistance, then fit the airflow ring (3) and adjust it. Here is the lower part ready.
For the upper part, there is just to assemble each element starting from the base of the tank (5) on which we put the tank itself (6) then, from above, it will be necessary to screw the top of the tank (7) and finally close by the top-cap (8). That's the top part ready.
We will be interested in the filling. At first, it is easier to put the liquid through the base of the tank before closing the tank with the central part and then fitting the two main parts together, taking care to place the capillary tubes, which are therefore used to drain the liquid from the reservoir to the tray, on the side opposite to the resistance, without forgetting to have previously soaked your wick. Your ato is functional and the whole is very easy to achieve.
For filling the Origen Tank post-assembly, there are two ways to proceed: either you go through the top of the tank by removing the top-cap and CLOSING the airflow to stay in compression, or you unscrew the upper part of the atomizer through the center piece to fill from the bottom of the tank (head down).
You are ready to vape.
I tested three assemblies on this atomizer with a first resistance of 1.5Ω in 18W, nothing to say, everything is perfect. The second in 0.6Ω, with a power varying up to 34W, is the assembly that I prefer to reconcile flavor AND vapor. For the third test, I tried to place my resistance in the center so as not to worry about the position of the capillary tubes anymore but, obviously, the result suffers, with a vapor hampered by a small space and less present flavors.
Side vape, finished the drippers with fixtures in 0.2 or 0.3Ω, finished the powers of 35 to 60W, finished the excessive consumption of juice and the too regular reloading of the batteries to finally obtain a same, even better, result with this Origen Tank which offers a fabulous vapor in density and flavor.

The mood ticket of the reviewer
This Origen tank, very easy to use, is made exclusively for the single coil. Filling is easy and is done in two ways. It is a product of impressive design and production quality.
The shape of this atomizer is not innocent, starting with the space under the studs that are designed to slide the capillary to free up space on the tray and provide space for steam in the chamber. atomization to produce a high density of flavor.
This room is also reduced to obtain a maximum concentration of steam, which promotes, again, the flavor. Thanks to the airflow ring, we gain a double wall on this dripper which dissipates the heat very well. All these elements together provide the same result as a dripper with a large chamber for a resistance of 0.3Ω on a power of 50W, therefore this Origen Tank will significantly limit the consumption of the liquid compared to another atomizer.
Although its price is high, there is a possibility of depreciating it thanks to its low consumption. However, the Origin Tank offers a quality of vape much higher than that of many drippers.
