The Eleaf Oppo is a small rebuildable atomizer with a reservoir of 2ml. Its Velocity type tray, which we know perfectly well today, makes assemblies easy to make. Mainly designed for very thick wires and sub-ohm, it provides a big vapor.
Its airflow is huge and adjustable, the filling is very easy and the set consists of only a few parts.
This atomizer is available in two colors, black or steel. The model of my test is in black and blends perfectly with a small box in single battery of the same color to give the appearance of a small set-up with a beautiful performance of vape. Side flavor, I still keep the surprise by letting you discover over the course of my test, the possibilities and efficiency of this Oppo, for an attractive price less than 30 euros.

Reviewer's comments on physical characteristics and perceived quality
Including the drip-tip, this Oppo consists of only 5 parts. The base, the chimney and the top-cap are in stainless steel with, in some places, a black coating. Each piece is well machined and without burrs. The threads do not hang but I had a catch sometimes a little difficult, on that of the bell with the base.
The tank is in Pyrex and very exposed to shocks, with a length of 18mm, you will find in the packaging a silicone ring which allows to limit the possible damage of a fall or a shock, but the glass seems to me sufficient strong so as not to break during cleaning.
The base, Velocity type, is very well insulated with a peek piece that correctly separates the poles. The spacing of the studs is correct, which makes it possible to make classic size resistors, but be careful, for those who would like to use a simple resistive in 0.3mm (or thinner), because some screws do not hold the wire correctly if it is too thin, the flat end of the screws is too tight and incorrect positioning creates variations in resistive value. The ideal with this atomizer is to use a resistive above 0.3mm, the Clapton is obviously ideal.
The airflow being variable, it is very easily adjusted with the ring located on the base which slides and is easily fixed. For filling, it is necessary to unscrew the top-cap but very often, wanting to remove only this part, I had to use a tightening tool, to avoid also unscrewing the chimney with the bell.
At the 510 connection, the positive pin is not adjustable.
He has two engravings that are opposed on his chimney, one with his name "Oppo", the other with him of his builder "Eleaf", these two engravings are very well executed, they are clear and of a good format, well, no risk of confusing this newcomer with another atomizer of the same ilk.

Reviewer's comments on functional features
It is above all an atomizer made for high powers, which can provide considerable vapor. Its base is equipped with a Velocity plate (two opposite pylons) offering four openings for blocking the resistance legs, so this individual support offers great ease of work for the double coil. However, the plate width is quite limited and restricts your resistances to a maximum diameter of 3 mm because beyond that, there is a risk of short-circuit.
Each stud has two holes with BTR type screws (hexagon head) which sometimes, completely screwed in, do not come into abutment, the advantage is that this does not cut your wire when tightening but still requires using a "coated" resistive (Clapton, fused or twisted) or a wire with a diameter greater than 6mm.
Forced with such resistive, it is necessary to have the appropriate power and to vaper between 35 and 60W, which this atomizer assumes and ensures perfectly, thanks to its adapted insulation and its two very wide airflows.
On the flavor side, I was pleasantly surprised by the return of a very fair taste, a little behind compared to a recent dripper, but the flavors were concentrated enough to offer a good result.
Under the resistance the airholes are quite high and let the air circulate without ever becoming clogged and therefore, I have no leaks to deplore during my test.
A less pleasant feature is the excessive consumption of this Oppo, which drinks as fast as its shadow.

The drip-tip is small and completely black, I don't know the material used but I admit that it is very confusing because it seems to me to be in stainless steel, very shiny, under its black coating, which reminiscent of ceramic, while the coating of the atomizer is matt.
It is small in size with a classic straight look, I did not feel excessive heat on my lips even at 50W.

Reviewer's comments on conditioning
For an entry-level product the packaging does not seem quite correct, in a solid cardboard box, there is a foam in which the atomizer fits comfortably.
There is also a green silicone ring and an Alen key with two pre-mounted Clapton coils and a cotton bag for your wicks. All this, accompanied by a notice in English, with a lot of diagrams that allow understanding in a universal language.
Too bad, you won't have a spare screw, or even an additional Pyrex, so be careful not to drop your precious ...

The use of the Oppo is relatively simple, just make a reasonable double coil assembly, with a wire of more than 0.3mm for a sub-ohm assembly. For the diameter of the resistors, choose a maximum of 3mm, for two reasons. First, because of the space on the tray, but also so that the capillary can have enough comfort in the housing provided, without hindering the capillarity, otherwise it will be necessary to unravel your wicks a little if they are too dense (packed) .
While this atomizer still imposes some restrictions but, if you completely adapt the assembly to its style of vape, you are the king, because once the assembly is carried out it provides a pleasure vape thanks to a high density of the vapor and a restitution. pleasant flavors. The adjustable airflow offers a very airy vape that can be reduced with precision if necessary.
The filling is done by the top-cap, it is a breeze which does not require particularly a syringe, as for the pin unfortunately, it is not adjustable. In addition, after filling, you will be unable to access the assembly without emptying the tank.
During use I did not notice any leakage or any dry hits, but a large consumption of liquid, however, this important absorption is also the opportunity to enjoy without moderation, the engaging flavors of your favorite liquid.

The mood ticket of the reviewer
The Oppo is without a doubt an excellent RTA in the mini category, however, it does subject us to some mounting restrictions.
This atomizer has a small plate size which will not accept coils of too large diameter in the same way that it is difficult to wedge too fine a resistive or too large capillary, so it keeps an obvious layout for a certain type of assembly, preferably clapton and sub-ohm with resistive values between 0.3 and 0.5Ω for a power range between 35 and 60W. However, the flavors are there and well beyond my expectations, just like the vapor which becomes very dense, associated with an air circulation, very important.
Obviously there is a price to pay for this good performance, it is the consumption which is not only important, but requires frequent refilling, because of a too limited 2ml tank. Without any leakage, it remains a mini size and remains practical to transport. Another constraint: access to the assembly requires emptying the tank to change your wicks if necessary.
To conclude, Eleaf has done a lot with this Oppo, which despite a basic look without particular appeal, offers us a really appreciable quality of vape.
