No, you're not dreaming and we're not in Back To The Future. We are going to do the review of the Old Nuts well today. But it is not the one you know and which has enchanted gourmet palates since its release. You could even say that the new Old Nuts has arrived!
Indeed, at this time of cool temperatures and pending the expected drought, Moonshiners offers us three new e-liquids placed under the sign of tobacco. Yes, I know, I should say Classic. But as long as we don't talk about Classicologue, classical weaning or Classic Bureau, I consider that I am in my right as a citizen to call things by their name.
3 liquids badged “Bootleg Series”, the first of which is a rehabilitation of the Old Nuts first of the name. And, as we never change, I of course wanted to start with him!
You wanted choice, you're going to get it. Our liquid exists in three distinct versions. First, there is a 10 ml format, sold for €5.90, available in 0, 3, 6, 12 and 18 mg/ml that you will find here. Then, there are also nicotine salt versions, in 10 and 20 mg/ml, at the same price, which is rare enough to be underlined!
Finally, you also have the opportunity to take it in 60 ml in two rates: 3 and 6 mg/ml. Here again, we are on more than perfect. The designer responsible for this work of art should be nominated for an Oscar in the category. Of course, we remain in the smuggler DNA of the brand but with the added class that perfectly suits a tobacco-focused liquid.
Cardboard packaging, brown background on which are cut the indications of the name, the series and the brand, it is square, elegant and it evokes more the velvet armchair of the godfather than the test tubes of the clandestine distillers.

Comments on the taste of the juice
Let's get things straight. I am a fan of the first Old Nuts of the name. Incredibly gourmet in its roundness and almost tasteful perfection, it very often accompanies my moments of relaxation associated with an espresso.
If you're like me, prepare to be surprised. I actually didn't think it was possible to do better. And yet...
The presence of tobacco, an American blend drawing on Virginia but with a hint of Burley to give it power, changes the situation completely. We are faced with a drier, less round liquid, whose gustatory nervousness reveals gourmet notes oscillating between coffee, hazelnut and the famous nougat that we find with pleasure. A touch of vanilla points the tip of its nose to wrap it all up in a comfortable cocoon.
Is it better than the first version which was already very accomplished? That will be up to you to decide, personally. It is less round, less heavy too. The recipe is perfectly successful and hits the mark.
We find indeed all the delicacy that we could have liked in the Old Old Nuts but with an additional boosting effect, giving it without doubt what the first one did not have: the particularity of being able to be vaped at any time of the day and to be an all-day completely accessible to all vapers. However, he does not betray his origins, proves himself worthy of his predecessor and even pays him strong homage.
A real gourmet tobacco, in the best sense of the term.
