Comments on the packaging

I am meeting you again today to present to you a transalpine liquid that comes to us from one of the deans of European vaping, Liqua. The Italian brand has been serving since 2009 and offers 46 flavors in its catalog. E-liquids are assembled by Ritchy SRC in the Czech Republic.

The flavors are divided into two main families: the mono-flavors whose range does not have a particular name and the complex range named MIX.
It is in the latter that we find the flavor that I am going to present to you.

These e-liquids are presented in a cardboard box that contains a soft plastic vial of 10 ml.
The presentation is rather flattering in view of the canon price of € 4.90 for 10 ml knowing that it is possible to lower this price by adjusting the quantities or by opting for packs of four bottles.

The NY Cheesecake is a gourmet liquid with a VG ratio of 65%, remains to be seen what can give a complex range proposed at such a low price.

Comments on the security, legal, health and religious aspects

Overall, Liqua isn't doing too badly. We find on the box a precise and complete description of the composition of the juice. There is also a batch number accompanied by a QR code to verify the authenticity of the product. And to complete the list, the name, address and number of the laboratory based in Czech Republic.

On the other hand, no pictogram or raised marking on the bottle, the latter only being present on the cap.
No instructions but the label on the box seems to include the mentions where we find absolutely all the ingredients including the additives required by the TPD.

A rather correct product on this item, we can do better but we welcome the total transparency on the composition of the liquid.

Appreciation of the packaging

  • Does the graphic design of the label and the product name agree ?: Yes
  • Global correspondence of the packaging with the product name: Yes
  • The packaging effort made is in accordance with the price category: Yes

Comments on the packaging

The package is irreproachable given the tariff position.
A pretty charcoal gray box, with a sort of ice cream ball on the face that seems to be made up of several layers of pastel colors. The name of the brand sits proudly at the head of the bill, then we find in order, the name of the range and the name of the recipe.

On one side, the “flavor guide”, a sort of little table that gives us the taste orientations of the juice. On the other sides, you will find the composition, instructions for use and contact details of the lab.

The inside of the bottle has the same decoration, the little originality is found at the level of the stopper which is square section on the top which is very practical in use.
A presentation largely at the level as our product finds its place in liquids very cheap.

Comments on the taste of the juice

A juice that wants greedy, described in this way on the official website:

Get ready for the ultimate blend of fresh, creamy and sweet.
This is truly delicious New York cheesecake with a kiwi-blueberry explosion.

So the smell, we can clearly distinguish sugar, a rather chemical fruity smell and a slight smell of artificial vanilla.
At the tasting we are on a soft liquid, quite sweet and rather creamy.
We feel a little blueberry but what about KIwi ??
We are far from the fruity explosion mentioned in the description. We are therefore satisfied with a creamy, sweet and very slightly fruity cheesecake.
So I would say that our New York cheesecake is a little shy, far from being bad, it is pleasant in the mouth even if it does not quite live up to the original promise.

My mood ticket on this juice

So what about this Italian-American getaway?
To be frank this juice does not quite live up to its claims.

Indeed, the recipe announced by the manufacturer is that of a soft and creamy cheesecake with blueberry and kiwi, the latter two having to be an explosion in the mouth.
On arrival, I do have a kind of soft, slightly vanilla and quite creamy cheesecake. But when it comes to fruit, I only felt a shy blueberry.

So there is no scandal, the juice remains pleasant, it will not be greedy enough for experienced vapers but for less demanding vapers, it will do very well. Especially as I remind you, we are faced with a very cheap juice.

So a first that leaves me a little on my “hunger” but my faith, the value for money remains very honest.

Good Vape,

Vince.
