If you were looking for a model to recommend to a friend new to vaping, you have found it!
If you were annoyed not being able to get your big mod out because you are looked at with a dirty eye in the office, do not panic, the alternative exists!
For 20 € with the complete kit including an Ego adapter and a USB / USB Micro charging cord or 17.90 € the mod alone without accessories (great idea for those who already have them!), You have what you need for vape discreetly.
Of course, the power is limited to 10W. It is a reasonable power for vaping allday and leaving enough room for a beginner to be able to progress and get rid of cigarettes. This restriction will not be unanimous but its price will cheer up the most gloomy. Finally for the price of a Jurassic Ego, we can have a mini-mod !!!

You read that correctly, this mini box is 52x33x21 in size, or roughly the size of a small matchbox! It's quite simple, it's smaller than a 10mm bottle of e-liquid, lighter than an atomizer, more compact than a lighter! When I saw it, I regretted that the mod was delivered in a keychain… 😉
The quality is similar to its big brother, the IStick in all respects. So, it is correct in absolute terms but impeccable in relation to the posted price. It will be necessary to check in the long run the holding of the switch button but we have here a cute object, particularly compact and above all which can claim to be of great service, not only to those looking for a light material to start but also to confirmed vapers for practice discreetly.
Nothing is comparable on the market to this day to this mini-box which adds a nice aesthetic to an undeniable practicality.

For 20 € the complete pack, we will not ask him to serve as a toaster or to be able to send SMS. This box does what it was created for and does it well. The manipulation of the switch displays in percentage the balance of charge remaining in the battery on a min round screen placed above the mod. When you vape, there is a counter in seconds that measures the duration of the puff. A bit of a gadget but who can do the most can do the least, they say… The interface buttons, triangular in shape, allow you to lower or increase the voltage that is sent to the atomizer. This voltage is limited to 5V. And that's about it. And that's about what we ask, which is good enough!
Measured at 4.95V at the output instead of the 5V displayed, we can say that the mod sends what is asked of it, with a fairly negligible variation in this price range.

The packaging is largely up to the event! We would even have been satisfied with much less in view of the floor price of the mini-box. But we are not joking with the presentation at Eleaf and it is in a pretty hard cardboard box that your object is delivered to you, on two floors a bit like a mobile phone. The second stage being devoted to the conditioning of the Usb cord, the Ego adapter and the instructions. No fault of taste. The instructions are in English but sufficiently illustrated to be understandable even to those who are most resistant to Dickensian language even if I always moan a little when a notice is not in Hugo's language ...

Over relatively heavy 24 hour use, the mod showed no signs of weakness. Of course, the autonomy, rather good in absolute terms, will be a little tight for a big vapoteur but the possibility of continuing to vape once the mod is connected to a USB socket can compensate in certain occasions. Let's be clear, this mod has more autonomy anyway than a mecha mod equipped with 18350 even if I admit that the comparison is irrelevant. But this is said to indicate that we do not end up with a ridiculous autonomy compared to the (very) small size of the mod.
I have been on the lookout for a missfire at the switch but at no time during the test period has it failed. No voltage drop or erratic behavior of the chipset either. In this regard, although less powerful, he seemed to me a little more credible than that of his big brother.

Unbelievable!!!! How can such a tiny, cute device definitely prove itself capable of ensuring an excellent quality vape? And at such a price ???
This is the miracle accomplished by Eleaf who, by declining its best-seller from below, does much more than give us an ersatz. On the contrary, by its price placement, its maximum voltage of 5V, its ability to withstand fairly low resistances (1Ω mini) and its good keychain boil, the Mini Istick does even better than its big brother by offering a vape good quality to a beginner for less than an Ego pack! But also who will interest the confirmed vapoteur looking for a more than correct vape, not too powerful and discreet. On this level, it is the full box! And there is no doubt that in the coming weeks we will see similar mods flourish among the competition.
We forgive him almost all these faults, a perfectible finish and a slightly clicking switch, in view of its price which shows great respect for the consumer. We forgive him all the more easily because it is a weapon of mass persuasion for those who still hesitate to get started and who justify their failure to act by the rates usually required. Here, Eleaf offers us a very mini-mod, at a very low price, in excellent quality packaging and perfectly usable. What more?
