Ekoms is a French e-liquid company based in Toulouse, it offers us its “Midnight Wood” from the X-WOOD range which includes three different juices.
The liquid is packaged in a transparent flexible plastic bottle with a capacity of 10ml of product. The basis of the recipe is mounted with a PG / VG ratio of 30/70 and the nicotine level is 3mg / ml, other nicotine levels are available, the values range from 0 to 18mg / ml.
We also find Midnight Wood in a 40ml chubby bottle with unscrewable taster, which can contain 60ml in total, the brand also offers “flavored” boosters for their products.
Available at a price of 5,90 €, the juice ranks among the entry-level liquids.

We find the logo of the brand with the name of the liquid, the name and contact details of the manufacturer, the origin of the product, the ingredients of the recipe as well as the ratio of PG / VG and the rate of nicotine in the product. The “danger” pictogram, the batch number to ensure the traceability of the juice with the best use date are also clearly visible. The Midnight Wood liquid is packaged in a transparent flexible plastic bottle with a capacity of 10ml of product. The bottle label is “dark brown / black”, the data on it is white and although legible it is not very clear.
On the front is the logo of the brand with the name of the juice and its origin. On the back of the label are deposited the data relating to the ingredients, the ratio of PG / VG with the nicotine level, the name and contact of the manufacturer, the various pictograms, the batch number and the DLUO.
A white strip inside which is written the information concerning the presence of nicotine in the product goes around the label of the bottle.
Inside the label are the product usage information, contraindications, side effects and toxicity, and the manufacturer's contacts. The packaging set is simple, all the information is present and even if it is not very clear it is still readable and accessible, it is correct.

Comments on the taste of the juice
The Midnight Wood liquid is a classic / gourmet type juice with flavors of tobacco, dark rum and brown sugar. When opening the bottle, the predominant smell is that of tobacco, the aromas of which are quite strong, dark tobacco, we also feel the sweetness of the recipe with also some subtle “alcoholic” type scents brought by the aromas of rum , the smell is quite pronounced.
At the taste level, the liquid is, unlike the olfactory feelings, rather soft and light, the tobacco, which I will describe as dark tobacco, has a strong aromatic power, it is present and perceived, but also remains relatively sweet.
Regarding the flavors of rum, they seem to appear only at the end of the vape, including those of tobacco, they are also very soft and light, they bring a certain additional “roundness” to the composition, the amber rum-like taste is worked pretty well.
The whole is also slightly sweet, the marriage of the different ingredients is really well done and homogeneous. The tasting is not disgusting.

Comments and recommendations for an optimal tasting
For the tasting of Midnight Wood I chose a power of 30W to prevent the flavors of tobacco from taking over those of rum. With this configuration of vape, the inspiration is quite soft, the passage in the throat and the hit light.
When exhaling, the flavors of dark tobacco appear, they are quite sweet, then they are followed by those of dark rum which gives a certain breadth to the composition, it is really tasty and pleasant in the mouth. The whole remains sweet, this aspect of the liquid is well balanced because the sweet side seems almost natural and is not too exaggerated.
The tasting is pleasant and not disgusting.

My mood ticket on this juice
The Midnight Wood liquid offered by Ekoms is a classic / gourmet juice whose recipe ingredients are all well received and their combination is really well worked and perfect.
In the end we obtain a simple but relatively well-made assembly whose mixture seems almost natural. The flavors of tobacco, which at the olfactory level seem to be relatively powerful, are finally rather soft and light and thus avoid that the juice is disgusting in the long run.
The flavors of the rum also contribute to the sweetness of the juice by adding subtle notes of “roundness”, finally, the very light sweet touches prevent the liquid from being too bland.
An excellent marriage of flavors for a well-deserved “Top Juice”.
