Blu presents the Blu Menthol which is part of a set of e-liquid mainly dedicated to beginners in the vape. It is a classic in flavors, mint remains a must but the nuances are often varied.
This product is available in a transparent bottle with a capacity of 10 ml, its flexibility is sufficient for a good use.
The nicotine level is indicative with a dosage of 0.8% containing a maximum dose of 9,143 mg / ml. Knowing that the recommended dosage for a beginner in the vape is around 12mg / ml, we are in a cautious margin, without overdose. Blu Menthol is also available in a higher percentage of 1,6% nicotine for about 18mg / ml. Too bad there is no weaker proposal in 0, 3 or even 6 mg / ml in order to accompany the beginner's path towards an accentuated withdrawal.

The security, legal and sanitary aspects are well respected with a cap that the little ones can not open for their safety. Precautions for use are clearly indicated on the label and on the double labeling, the pictogram of danger is very visible and the embossed marking feels well under the fingers.
In order to have product traceability, a batch number is indicated and the name of the juice is prominently displayed as well as the nicotine level. Everything is in accordance with the standard AFNOR XP D90-300-2, however I note the absence of the percentage PG / VG which is important for the consumer and the addition of distilled water among the ingredients.

A very interesting packaging that highlights the product. Indeed, it comes in a cardboard box, with a complete record that accompanies all products in the range.
The graphic design is rather pretty and, without much surprise, it appears in blue tones with a clean design. There is a strip on the side of the box, of different color for each flavor, to differentiate them. A nice packaging, moreover in a case, for an entry-level product.

Comments on the taste of the juice
When you open the bottle, the smell of mint is characteristic and well present. Nevertheless, we are more on a fresh, clear mint than on a peppermint.
In the vape, the smell is confirmed by the tasting. From the first aspiration, one feels at the bottom of the throat this intense freshness that fades slowly to give way to the minty taste. The freshness is intense, maybe even too much, it surprises at first but you get used very quickly because, on the following puffs, this aspect fades slightly.
Blu menthol is not too sweet, I would say it is practically not. Also, it takes a long time in the mouth without being invasive or disgusting.
A fairly classic flavor that is well restored but too much freshness that surprises at first.

Comments and recommendations for an optimal tasting
It is a liquid that feels good on any type of atomizer, however I note a drop in the intensity of its freshness when the power is high. Pervert effect of the heater? In the meantime, I find it better around 35W.
For the hit, it is perfectly noticeable and even a little more important than 8mg / ml. As for the steam, it remains average, consistent with a liquid dosed in 50% vegetable glycerin.

My mood ticket on this juice
This Blu-Menthol e-liquid is well in the menthol category, but it's more about fresh mint or cold, rather than a classic peppermint. The freshness effect is striking from the first suction. Those who love thrills, will not be disappointed, with an effect that extends a good time.
This liquid is a basic but which is in a correct price range compared to the absence of complexity in the development of its flavor.
Blu has relied on a very interesting packaging that brings added value to the product, with almost perfect compliance with standards, if not the balance between propylene glycol and vegetable glycerin that lacks transparency. I hope that the next batches will provide us with this information.
