Comments on the packaging

Afasiempre brings together a panel of tobacco flavors available in 10ml glass vials, the 50/50 base of which should correspond better to the greater number than the previous versions, less provided with VG. Available in 0, 3, 6, 11 and 16 mg / ml of nicotine, the bottles are TPD ready which, for amateurs, is not necessarily good news, the 10ml will not seem like much to them, it is also My opinion.

The price of these premiums, is at the beginning of the average range of juices of this quality, the packaging and the dosing of aromas more consequent force the signboard to adapt the costs, that said, the range remains very affordable.

Comments on the security, legal, health and religious aspects

Like the production, always very respectful of the customers, the safety aspect and the conformity of the labeling with the regulations is flawless. The whole range benefits from this concordance of obligations, as from the qualitative similarity of juice components.

A DLUO at the side of the lot number informs you of the optimum period of tasting, you will find it under the bottle. The note of this section, obtained for this Malawia (as for its counterparts in this range) talking about itself, I will not dwell more on the subject, the juices are safe, it is essential.

Comments on the packaging

I must give a special mention finally, on the aesthetics of this package, besides the practical equipment and safety and, although the vial is not anti-UV, we are in the presence of a perfectly designed label and performed.

For a tobacco range, Alfaliquid has focused on an evocative visual: the portrait of a great Cuban cigar lover, I named Che Guevara himself, the name of the Alfasiempre range which recalls the song Hasta Siempre dedicated to Che, all shaped in a graphic choreography borrowed from the rings that enclose the authentic cigars made in Cuba. We're already in tune with the range, but that's not all.

To add the useful to the pleasant the designers have thought, very judiciously, to inform you at a glance on the rate of the base, the volume of the vial and the rate of nicotine. To finish, a ribbon resembling the shape of the ring contains, on a colored background proper to each flavor, the name of the juice. For me, this labeling is the absolute strike, a model of its kind with formidable efficiency.

Sensory appreciations

  • Color and product name agree ?: Yes
  • Do the smell and the name of the product agree ?: Yes

Vapelier's note on the sensory experience: 4.38/5 4.4 5 out of stars

Comments on the taste of the juice

At the smell this Malawia puzzled me, I was expecting a full-bodied tobacco but in the end, not at all. When cold, it is the assembly of spices that gives off a particular smell, such as that emanating from a kind of infusion. The taste is slightly sweet, tobacco is not really at the rendezvous, it's a little frustrating.

The vape confirms the second position of tobacco which should nevertheless take precedence. The mixture of spices constitutes the top note, cloves, cinnamon and nutmeg give a rather oriental tone to this juice. Tobacco is in the background, perhaps this is voluntary on the part of the designers, the choice of brown can displease a large number of people. As a result, this brown is not full-bodied, it does not present astringency and its taste does not last in the mouth, the spices do a work of rounding and softness which takes away from the tobacco its initial roughness. It's not unpleasant but a little contradictory, choosing brown and diluting it with strong flavors seems almost contradictory to me (I smoked goldo without a filter for 15 years, that may explain my reaction at first).

The hit at 3mg is really light, the steam is of a correct volume, this juice is vape as warm as hot.

Tasting recommendations

  • Recommended power for optimal taste: 20 / 25W
  • Type of steam obtained at this power: Normal (type T2)
  • Type of hit obtained at this power: Light
  • Atomizer used for the review: Red Dragon (dripper)
  • Value of the resistance of the atomizer in question: 1Ω
  • Materials used with the atomizer: Kanthal, FF D1

Comments and recommendations for an optimal tasting

I opted for an atomizer that combines full AFC adjustment possibilities and the rendering between the pure dripper and the RBA, due to the substantial distance between the heating area and the outlet of the nozzle. So I mounted a 1 ohm kanthal DC with a neutral and well-draining capillary: the Fiber Freaks D1 (cellulose fiber). The power tests were carried out between 16 and 30W, the airflow sometimes closed and sometimes open with the intermediate positions.

At this value of resistance, 16W prove to be inefficient, the airflow tight, the flavor generated is at the limit of the tasteless, the production of steam is low. Cold vape.

From 20W it improves greatly, the AFC provides a gradation of intensity of flavors without altering them, the production of steam is correct. Vape cold / warm, good volume of steam.

Beyond 25W a bitterness appears, the vape remains lukewarm, but the alteration of the taste is sensitive, the spices take over the top, we do not perceive more clearly the taste of tobacco.

In 30W the vape is warm / warm, the bitterness is confirmed, the tobacco has disappeared, it reappears timidly at the end of the mouth. This is the limit for me, the juice is still steam but the disadvantages caused by the excessive heat are right of my taste buds.

The fluidity and transparency of Malawia allow you to vape it in all atomizers, without fear of quickly destroying your coils. You can safely increase the “normal” heating power by 50% for your resistance, beyond this it is risky, you will judge for yourself.

My mood ticket on this juice

Still a surprising tobacco of discretion, especially for a brown. It will be part of this category of tobacco transition, to get rid of it smoothly and move on.

I did not fully appreciate it because it frustrated me of the plain taste of the tobacco, but it will be able to suit a lot of people who precisely want to leave it progressively. Rely on your intuition to choose in this complete range, there is necessarily the juice which corresponds to you, this one is soft, exotic and not very sweet, it is well vape, without pretensions worthy of the tastings considered and assumed in the intimacy and eyes closed.

Malawia is vape at any moment, in broad daylight and can be considered without problem in allday.

Thank you for reading me, good luck and see you soon.
