Small “unregulated” electronic box that wants to be cheap and yet comes with a lot of options.
The Kung Fu is indeed equipped with a light switch and a USB port for recharging your batteries.
The panel is equipped with two large magnets but if you wish, you can replace them with two screws (provided in the package) to secure their maintenance.

Small box all dressed in black, you will find on one side the name of the box and on the other a karateka in Chinese shadow, the latter is for me too many.
Indeed, this “very” martial drawing arouses the curiosity of the youngest (I have experienced it) who will always want to play with it, you will have to keep an eye on the box 😉
As for the coating, nothing to report, the anodization of the aluminum seems correct and the cover firmly fixed thanks to two powerful magnets.

Easy to use box, it has all the necessary protections:

As with any box intended for sub-ohm, the use of “high drain” batteries is recommended, preferably with a flat head to facilitate insertion, and as the box is wired in parallel, the use of only 1 battery is possible.
There is a so-called “serial” or “stacker” version to have 8v output. Personally, I advise against it because you will have to review your way of coiling, in fact if you double the voltage, you must also double the resistance value, which is for me a bad idea on a box without regulation.

Very nice package, we are entitled to a rigid zipped house for the transport of your kung fu and another battery. In this box, you will find a set of screwdrivers (flat and cruciform), screws for the panel and a USB cable for recharging.
For less than 40 € SMY does better than some unicorns over 200 €!

The mood ticket of the reviewer
Here is a nice surprise, a box capable of sending heavy for the price of an EGo kit, this is what SMY offers with Kung Fu.
Equipped with a plethora of safety for a safe experience, Kung Fu revel in the sub-ohm!
It collects the amps of your batteries to send them back to your favorite dripper, despite a slight drop volt due to the electronic part, your larger assemblies will remain very responsive to the shoot and will quickly recreate the fog of London at home.
Two small points are for me to note:
- The 510 screw connector, not great, a spring connector being much easier to use.
- Chinese shadow karateka is a bit too “toy”.
For the rest it's all good, especially considering the price
So bet won? Yes !
