Comments on the packaging

I continue my discovery of the e-liquids of the Tea Time range from Kapalina.
Today, it will be Kuala-Bay for a new evocation of Malaysia through its teas.

Packaged in a 30 ml transparent glass bottle and fitted with a cap fitted with a glass pipette with a fine tip to be able to easily fill your devices, the range is available in many nicotine dosages ranging from 0 to 18 mg / ml. by 3, 6, 9 & 12.
The ratio PG / VG is fixed to 60% vegetable glycerine, which should promise us beautiful dense clouds.

The price is in the “entry-level” category at € 17,50 for 30 ml.

Comments on the security, legal, health and religious aspects

The labeling is not complete and that's a shame given the space available.
We will note, among other things, the absence of a pictogram and the words: "Not recommended for pregnant women" and "Forbidden -18". Essentially visual information made very soon compulsory by the famous TPD.
However, it should be noted the presence of the pictogram in relief for the visually impaired and a DLUO and a lot number in addition to the coordinates of the lab.

Comments on the packaging

I appreciate the packaging of this Tea Time range. It's simple, uncluttered and sober but this sobriety is of good quality.
In order to differentiate the different references in the range, the pipette caps are matched to the color of the label; it's nice and flattering, once on the stall.

Vapelier's note on the sensory experience: 5/5 5 5 out of stars

Comments on the taste of the juice

More complex than it seems at the first scent evaluation, the Kuala-bay.

“Mix of teas, kiwis, ice cream and…”. I like the “and…”, likely to put you in doubt as to the description of the different aromas.

Like its range brother, the Malayan, there is this tea that leads the way and here too, I am thinking of black tea with this “ashy” side… It is somewhat the master of the recipe.
However, behind this dominant aspect there is much hiding. A kiwi, subtle and rather discreet. Then, indeed, a feeling of ice cream that I personally find associated with a little hint of vanilla to round off the whole and the recipe. I have good, for the “and…”?

This recipe, at first glazed at first, will then oscillate between the fruity with a tendency to fresh and the greedy. Fresh, but don't get me wrong. It is not in the style expected of a cool liquid. But rather in that of tea by its infused side, with a sensation similar to that of a tobacco juice made from the leaf of the plant ...
Fruity does not correspond to it either because the kiwi intervenes more as a component than a dominant one. For the gourmet aspect, it is rather this sensation that lasts in the mouth which lets me think that the Kuala-bay tends to lean in this direction.

The aromatic power is perfectly controlled, neither too much nor too little. In all cases the holding of this juice is perfectly balanced.

Tasting recommendations

  • Recommended power for optimal taste: 30 W
  • Type of vapor obtained at this power: Dense
  • Hit type obtained at this power: Medium
  • Atomizer used for the review: Dripper Zénith & Avocado 22
  • Value of the resistance of the atomizer in question: 0.6
  • Materials used with the atomizer: Kanthal, Fiber Freaks cotton blend

Comments and recommendations for an optimal tasting

For once, I preferred this juice on an ato tank than on a dripper. I let you judge after having tested it for yourself.
Under these conditions I did not take long to use up the 30 ml in an Avocado 22 which, however, does not have a large capacity.
On a dripper, the higher temperature will give you the impression of a more infused tea and I noticed a slight imbalance with a decrease in the other flavors.

My mood ticket on this juice

Once again, Kapalina offers us a very nice achievement.
This Kuala-bay is perfectly developed and brings a great value to an original Tea Time range.

The manufacturer from Lille knew how to take risks with products that reflect a little in this vaping landscape which tends to uniformity in flavors. I hope he will be rewarded.
For the “Top Jus” of the Vapelier, we are not far from it. A small update during the next batch on regulatory compliance and it seems acquired.
The talent of the flavourist is real, guilty of well-known recipes, they can largely attest to this.

The invitation to travel provided by this universe of Asian teas is once again doing its job and it is with enthusiasm that I am about to discover the next references that I still have to taste. How good is the life of a Vapelier reviewer?

See you soon for new hazy adventures,

About the Author

Follower of the tobacco vape and rather "tight" I do not balk in front of good greedy clouders. I love flavor-oriented drippers but am very curious about the evolutions of our common passion for personal vaporizers. Good reasons to make my modest contribution here, no?
