Sigelei the return ! And not just a little, and for our greatest pleasure, at least mine for sure. Think I was left at 19 Telescope because at the time (we are talking about the beginning of the century), the mech was king and this mod was rather nice since it could embed 1 or 2 18350 (I do not recommend stacking), an 18500, or an 18650 thanks to its tubes sliding by screwing, and that's not all! Its huge switch was magnetized to push back the battery at rest and its top-cap incorporated an 510 and eGo connection, isn't grandpa's vape beautiful?
Today of course, it's funny, even though my Telescope will still be functional when you have already thrown your Snowwolf Baby (do you feel the hint of irony there?), built-in battery requires.
So today, we are talking about Starter Kit, Regulated Box 80W maxi and Clearomizer of 5,5ml, all for about 65 €. Before going into the details of this original combo, let us specify that Sigelei is a Chinese company, present in R&D, manufacturing and sales since September 2011. In 2013, the company opted for electronics and at the beginning of 2014, they were already releasing their 20W / 30W / 50W chipsets, at the end of 2014, it was the turn of the 100 and 150W to break into the market. Reviewer's comments on physical characteristics and perceived quality
The Box is made of zinc alloy and probably aluminum, it weighs 172g for a minimum bulk: height = 68mm, width = 44mm, minimum thickness (at the top-cap) = 25mm, maximum (the nose of the wolf) = 32mm. One of the characteristics of this material is its embossed decoration, that of the test is golden, for discretion we will say ... we will not say anything.
Its general shape is rectangular but its worked ergonomics give it multiple chamfers (lateral 4) and other pointed shapes (arrows, diamonds) as well as offsets (19mm long), on each side of the top-cap, from to 1,5mm penalty and whose utility escapes me. The 510 connector is made of stainless steel.
The lateral firing switch (are you ready Houston?) Is a notched tongue (fire bar type) of the same alloy as the Box, 40,5mm long and 10mm wide, which acts on either side of the medium to operate the contact, we therefore have 2 possible positions of fire, it is original.
The other side is reserved for 0,91 23 inch 7 2,5 OLED screen, encased with XNUMXmm in the mass of the box, which avoids direct scratches and some shocks. And of course, the two indispensable arrow-shaped adjustment buttons, one over the other in the direction of the height, they are also gilded.
The wolf facade (with red eyes) is only of aesthetic interest even though its opposite, the back side, soberly adorned with a decor also in relief, holds the Micro USB connector that you will take care to use for recharge the built-in battery.
Very neat material, with impeccable finishes, the top-cap is equipped with a stainless steel disc tray of 20mm diameter, 5 reamed spokes to facilitate a possible air intake and connector 510 with a positive pin brass, screwed and spring loaded.
The atomizer is a clearomizer that, once mounted but empty, weighs 55g. It measures 48mm high for a maximum diameter (5ml Pyrex® tank) of 29mm, for 25 at the base. A notched ring, (golden as the decoration of the Box) closes and opens the airholes on both sides of the base, 2 X 14 X 2mm are available once opened fully.
The filling is done from above by rotating the drip-tip part of the top-cap, no part to unscrew it's nice.
We will see more about this atomizer in the chapter devoted to features and options, but at first, with its 5ml capacity, it seems to agree on the hardware described above, judge instead.
The mounted and filled kit weighs 235g, measures 113mm high and its many available colors should delight vapers of all kinds (it's more convenient than listing them all, but of course, I was thinking especially of ladies).

The Box is a variation of the snowwolf Mfeng, in baby version, which delivers a maximum of 80W (for 200W to its big sister), it has a Li Po battery of 2000 mAh which we do not know the peak or continuous CDM but which we know integrated into the Box ; translation: once the battery is at the end of its life, you can throw the box away. However, I spotted 2 Torx cr-vt - 5 micro-screws under the beast and curiosity will certainly prevail, I will tell you what about a possible possibility of changing this battery.
The chipset is proprietary and you can upgrade it on the manufacturer's website If it's happened. All conventional protections are present: Short-circuit, maximum puff duration 10 seconds, cut-off in the event of internal overheating and TC mode, in the event of over and under charge of the battery. For more security, a 4-digit code allows the system to be locked, despite the 5 short switches required for ignition.

Built-in 2000mAh battery with USB recharging: DC 5V to 2,5A maximum (no pass-through function during charging), important detail, there are no degassing vents. A reset function to default values (factory). Further on, you will see the manips to access and choose your settings according to your type of resistive and the resistance value used.
The atomizer receives proprietary Sigelei MS-M Coil, WH Mini Coil, Snowwolf WF Mini Coil and WF M Coil type coils. It can also take the coils of the Smok TFV 8 Baby. It comes with one 5,5ml glass tank and one 3,5ml one. The pre-installed resistor for the test is a SUS 316L (316L stainless steel resistive) winding at 0 Ω. The base is in SS 28 stainless steel.
Le Wolf Tank Mini (that's his stage name) is therefore filled with the top-cap without dropping or losing anything, it is appreciable standing in the metro for example. The airflow is adjustable to provide an airy vape. Nice drip-tip 510 in resin (810 Widebore), decorated with honeycomb (cuckoo Sylvie) rather short: 13mm with a good diameter: 16mm and 6,5mm useful arrival from the chimney, very pleasant texture and rounded.
Given the limited performance of the battery built into the box and if you do not want to recharge all 4h, opt for resistances above 0,3Ω and quiet vaping between 30 and 50W maxi, especially as you can not vape while charging. Prefer a DC 5,0V phone charger - to 1000, 1500 or 2000 mAh (with maxi to 2500mAh), to USB charging on the computer, the output voltages as well as the intensities delivered are not stable, it contributes greatly to premature wear of the battery and remember, it will probably at best, be very hard to change, at worst, I dare not think about it.

Reviewer's comments on the use of the product
For this evaluation, I used the assembly supplied and pre-installed: the 0,28Ω resistor with a juice of my own, in 20/80 PG / VG at 50W, 45W and 30W. Before filling, as for any first use, the resistance must be started; a few drops on the 4 lights and inside by the edge. After filling, I waited a few more minutes (time to make and whistle a coffee).
At 50W not to take any risks (and because I'm used to it), I opened the airholes fully and my first puff lasted only 2 seconds while inhaling frankly, result: a significant cloud for the duration and a flavor normally restored (which does not suffer, however, the comparison with a dripper). After a while the puffs are longer and the clouds denser, for flavor I'd say it's okay no more. The ato barely heats up, the vape is warm and cold as I like, for an airy draw with a fruity minty juice.
The coil moves a little resistive value, it went to 0,33 Ω rather quickly (10mn) in increments of 0,02Ω, it is not really embarrassing. The box is very responsive, at this value no need to program a preheat, no latency.
At 45W, the vape is comparable, we can afford longer puffs, it does not heat more than that. On the other hand, at 30W, the restitution of aromas falls into disuse, although the vape is cold, the battery is less head but if the cloud is still provided, tastes are too dimmed.
It seems that in this configuration, the flavor / steam / autonomy compromise is around 40 / 45W, that's what appeared to me during this test day. The battery returned the weapons after about 7ml, I have not exceeded the 50W.
Here is a panel of resistors that you can use on this ato, the values are low, the autonomy will be affected.
The box, for its part, is up to the work required; the battery is a little short for resistors under 0,25Ω. As promised, here are the details of the manipulations necessary for the possible settings and adjustments.
I removed the 2 torx screws from the bottom of the box without convincing results, there must be others under the decorations, which requires a cutter take-off, the equipment being new, I did not operate this delicate work but as soon as the battery at the end of the cycle, I will stick to it and post the result of my investigations in comments of this review.

The mood ticket of the reviewer
Here we are at the verdict of the specialist (no, it's the ankles, thank you). It seems that the overall score obtained by this protocol is slightly overestimated, I will tell you why, although you have certainly noticed the small defects of this starter kit. Overall it's good material, very good bill, well thought out and impeccably done. It is however for a simple question of vape and autonomy that I want to indicate to you my reservations.
We have a Box which sends up to 80W… very good; but for how long with a 0,16 Ω coil? - The clearomizer is very well designed, practical and leak-free, it would be necessary that Sigelei think of assigning resistance to 0,5 and 0,8, or over an ohm so that this kit is consistent with the capabilities of the battery. Because it is him the major problem of the combo. The quality of vape is the measure of the proposed material, a clearomiser offers a restoration of the correct flavors and it remains in the norm and not beyond. I must also talk about the price you will put in a discarded material in a year or 18 months, it is really unfortunate to consider such a concentration of know-how and advanced technology as consumable perishable.
Let's stay positive nevertheless, Sigelei made of very beautiful objects that work perfectly, this starter kit is still very beautiful, functional and very practical; and nothing prevents you from equipping yourself with a good old mecha that will never let you go.
