Joyetech never stops showing us its star models. Today, it is the family of the great starter kit Ego One who welcomes a newcomer: the Ego One VT.
Taking in part the proportions of the components of the Ego One Mega Kit, the VT version offers you some new and important features. But we are not going to say everything right away anyway. Let's do some teasing.
All we can tell is that it is far from uninteresting.

As I told you earlier, this new album takes proportions very similar to the Kit Ego one Mega:
Even atomizer, battery a longer hair so we go to 142 mm drip tip included and a heavier hair: 135g.
Diameter of 22 mm, this Ego is inevitably reminiscent of a tubular mechanical mode. Very clean, this tube made of stainless steel is in my case covered with a good quality black paint. He sees his line only interrupting to let the fire button protrude slightly. This rectangular button follows the curvature of the tube. As with the other versions, it is a bit loose in its enclave but not enough to make it a distraction for infants.
6 small holes aligned in groups of three on either side of the fire button on a lower plane, equipped with small LEDs and marked with small engravings, give you a glimpse of the novelty brought by this new set up.
A product well made, simple, but that does not fail to touch you by its simplicity, a thousand places box, real cultural follies of the moment, I am myself touched by this virus. Sometimes going back to basics is good.

This part is a bit skewed, because it is a Starter Kit in all its simplicity. So we must already consider it as such and disregard any resemblance to a mod. It is an improved 2300mah battery, variable wattage, and temperature control.
Huh? Variable power and temperature control on an Ego?
Well yes, Joyetech has decided to offer the latter these functions which have recently appeared on most boxes.
Thus, you have the choice between three operating modes. A variable power mode with three power levels high, medium, low (H, M, L). The power will therefore vary from 5 to 30 watts depending on the power level and the value of the resistance. Of course, no screen to give you the information. Here we are in the world of the inexperienced beginner, so he needs simple terms, especially since in the spirit of the brand, this vapoteur is not yet navigating in the wonderful world of reconstructables. They buy resistances at known values. In the booklet that accompanies the beauty, a table gives you a small summary of the powers obtained according to the value of the resistance.
And of course, the inevitable TC, this function will work with Ni200 AND titanium. Here again, we have the choice between the three letters H, M, L which represent respectively 430, 470, and 600 ° Fahrenheit.
As you will no doubt have understood, the two rows of 3 aligned holes equipped with LEDs represent the control panel. On the one hand, a W (power mode), Ni (Tc Ni200 mode) and Ti (Tc mode on titanium), each with its own indicator color white, blue, red. On the other, the letters H, M, L highlighted with white light according to the power chosen.
Of course, the product is perfectly safe, it has what it takes in terms of security, which seems to me to be a minimum when it comes to beginners.
So much for the great novelty of the product and I will tell you later what it gives.
By the way, the atomizer is the Ego One Mega. Simple atomizer, with air flow adjustment. With a capacity of 4 ml, its filling is done from the bottom as on a Subtank or an Atlantis. Very basic, it offers a vape that goes from tight to air and it has an honorable flavor rendering. It is perfectly flush, which will not be the case with all atomizers. Indeed, the positive pad is fixed, it is a pity especially that the top cap has large channels to feed an atomizer with air intake from below.
This starter kit is very interesting even for a seasoned vaper.

It is a traditional box which follows the usual precepts of the brand's products. It's efficient, a little bland, but clean and perfectly suited to the class in which this product is sailing. The Kit includes: the battery, a clearo, three CXNUMX resistors (one suitable for each operating mode), the USB cord and the wall adapter. The manual is multilingual as always, and of course French is included in the summary.

Like any good starter kit, the Ego One VT is super easy to use. The manual in French allows you to get started in a few minutes even if you are a beginner. When the battery is off, a long press on the button will allow you to switch from one mode to the other. Once the mode has been chosen, you will press the same button five times, ultra conventional start-up. Then, you will press 3 times quickly to change the desired power level.
The 4ml atomizer, coupled with the 2300 mah from the battery, offers a reasonable autonomy. A micro usb port allows it to be recharged using the supplied wall charger.
142mm in total length, 22mm in diameter and 135gr: its transport is no problem. For some, its diameter may be a bit large, especially for beginners still familiar with the late “slayer” format.

The mood ticket of the reviewer
A rather positive assessment on this new Kit from Joyetech.
An innovative battery incorporating a variable power mode and two temperature control modes, one for Ni200 and another for titanium.
All of this gives us a very scalable kit. We can completely start with an Ego One Vt because its operation is very simple. Just a little advice: ask your dealer for resistors whose value will be above the ohm. Because if you start with the only resistors in the kit, you will literally suffocate. This is the only complaint I make on the pack offered by Joyetech.
The product itself is super clean, we can just blame this button fire medium and fixed pin that may not be compatible with all atomizers.
It vape super well! At 30 watts I have a lot of fun even though I have been vaping for more than two years. For me, it's well done and well seen. One can quite imagine starting with this kit which guarantees to be able to follow your evolution over a fair amount of time, it is an interesting prospect. At 50 euros, the investment seems profitable.
For more mature vapers, I would say: “give it a try, it's really not bad what this stuff comes out!”. It's fun to take basic stuff and find part of my daily vape today.
This kit only reinforces my position that this Ego one family is the best in the beginner kit category. If I had started directly with this thing, I might not have become an informed enthusiast but at least I would not have had to change gear every two months to advance in my vape.
