Comments on the packaging

Let's continue our review of the Sixties range of the French manufacturer, Keliz.
Today I am going to evaluate and share with you my thoughts on the Jerry Mix.

TPD requires, we are in the presence of a packaging in a 10 ml plastic (PET) transparent bottle, the range is in a 50/50 ratio of PG / VG and available in nicotine levels 0, 6, 12 & 18 mg / ml.

The price is in the category of entry-level 5,90 € but it is not uncommon to find promotions on the net at dealers of the brand.

To differentiate nicotine levels, Keliz has caps of different colors. White for the 0. Gray for 6, dark gray for 12 and black for peach 18 mg / ml.

Vapelier's note regarding the respect of various conformities (except religious): 4.13 / 5 4.1 5 out of stars

Comments on the security, legal, health and religious aspects

In the security register, the main mentions and other pictograms are present.
On the other hand, if the relief marking of the triangle intended for the visually impaired is present on the cap, it is absent from the labeling. On this subject I rectify a typo of which I am the author when I had evaluated the Pop Robbin of the same manufacturer because I had omitted this point, misled by the plug.
It should also be noted that if the mention “Not recommended for pregnant women” is present, it is indicated in the text but the corresponding pictogram is absent whereas it is made compulsory by the PDT soon to be implemented.
Finally, the average is weighted by the presence of distilled water notwithstanding proven safety.

Appreciation of the packaging

  • Does the graphic design of the label and the product name agree ?: Yes
  • Global correspondence of the packaging with the product name: Yes
  • The packaging effort made is in line with the price category: Could do better for the price

Vapelier's note regarding packaging with regard to juice category: 4.17 / 5 4.2 5 out of stars

Comments on the packaging

The packaging is classic, conforms to the majority of 10 ml. It's clean, professional and nothing major is to complain about.
However, in view of what is offered on Keliz's POS for this Sixties range, I find this labeling a little too sober. I admit that given the space available it is not easy but I am a little disappointed.
As I am on the hit of the letters concerning the DLUO, the nicotine rate and the lot number. These indications would have deserved a better impression.
But hey, you see it are just points of detail, knowing that it is especially the content that will interest us.

Comments on the taste of the juice

At the olfactory level, no hesitation. Vanilla / custard gets pole position. There is something else but I am waiting for the trial of the vape to pronounce myself.

With the vape precisely, the transcription is not easier. The juice is good and there is no doubt about it. The blend is successful for a harmonious marriage of flavors. On the other hand I need the description of the manufacturer for help with this little bit of bitterness which comes in second.

"Balanced blend between the sweetness of a Custard vanilla and the acidic approach of rhubarb, with a touch of pomegranate. "

Okay ! Well, I am not helped anymore because it is not easy to find these aromas. Vanilla covers the whole a bit - normal for this type of recipe - and it is difficult to attribute the respective share of rhubarb and pomegranate. To come back to this custard, it should be noted that it has opted for sweetness and finesse; so we don't expect anything bold, very marked and overly sweet.
Anyway, it's well done, pleasant to vape. The aromatic power and the hold in the mouth are skillfully controlled and I did not find this disgusting “custard” thanks to the contribution of this herbaceous and fruity touch of bitterness.

Tasting recommendations

  • Recommended power for optimal taste: 40 W
  • Type of vapor obtained at this power: Dense
  • Hit type obtained at this power: Medium
  • Atomizer used for the review: Dripper Zénith & Hurricane RBA
  • Value of the resistance of the atomizer in question: 0.4
  • Materials used with the atomizer: Kanthal, Cotton

Comments and recommendations for an optimal tasting

The Jerry Mix is quite versatile. The increased temperature brings out the “acid” side of the recipe. For my part, I preferred to lower the watts a little to take advantage of the vanilla.
As usual, the use of a dripper allows a more precise vape, an ato flavors should be privileged to appreciate this juice at its right level.
My only downside concerns the absence of a 3 mg / ml of nicotine that I consider essential nowadays (you can cut 6 with the same volume of 0 you will tell me, and you will be right, but this option grows consumer is not it?).

Overall average (excluding packaging) of the Vapelier for this juice: 4.3 / 5 4.3 5 out of stars

My mood ticket on this juice

"It was better before !" Who has never heard this phrase repeated over and over again by our elders?

I don't know if it was better before, but personally this period of pin-ups, old Americans (cars, of course! 😉) or more simply the “glorious thirties” is a decade that I love, as the d 'young people.

Congratulations to Keliz for plunging us back into this “vintage” universe, which is currently very popular and above all for giving us the benefit of its delicious juices. The Jerry Mix is an accomplished liquid that is a pleasant tasting experience.

I look forward to continuing the evaluation of the range, so I'll see you soon.

Good vape,

About the Author

Follower of the tobacco vape and rather "tight" I do not balk in front of good greedy clouders. I love flavor-oriented drippers but am very curious about the evolutions of our common passion for personal vaporizers. Good reasons to make my modest contribution here, no?
