Innokin, which is a little behind its last times, released an improved version of its Isub clearomiser. Indeed, all the brands are surfing on this trend and the first Isub tank of the name worked correctly but did not bring anything new. The Isub Apex remains an entry-level product, with proprietary coils, but it brings its share of new features. Innokin emphasizes that the improvements of its sub-ohm atomizer aim to improve the restitution of flavors. So, a real improvement or a simple upgrade?

Reviewer's comments on physical characteristics and perceived quality
The first point of improvement on the Isub is the use of pyrex for the tank. The remaining body in stainless steel. Overall the product is well finished. The design is not very original, it is sober and agreed.
The second remarkable novelty at first glance is the high position of the airflow which therefore finds its place at the top of the tank. The air arrives under the resistance thanks to a clever system of jacket formed by the two tubes of the tank.
The top cap turns to reveal two holes of good size that allow a simple filling as hello.
The diameter of the chimney is rather consequent which also contributes to the vape by direct inhalation.
The drip tip also has an adjustable airflow to cool the vapor.
The capacity of 3 ml seems a little light for an ato sub ohm when you know the average consumption of one of these toys.
For me, no problem, this entry-level ato is well designed and well made.

The air flow is very generous in the maximum open position, but it will be difficult to get a tight vape. At the same time, those looking for this kind of rendering rarely turn to an atomizer of this type.
The resistance that integrates the 510 connection pin is simply changed. We currency the recovery tank, we pull on the resistance which is held in place by a seal. We notice that the air inlet of the resistance is substantial and we also see that the top of the resistance is equipped with an anti-splash grid. The resistance of 0,5 uses Japanese cotton.
The vape is very correct, the restoration of flavors is good for a clearo of this type. The production of steam is at the rendezvous.
Innokin advises not to exceed 35 watts and indeed the vape is quite comfortable up to this limit.
A nice clearo that fits well in the hierarchy of the category.

The isub apex will be delivered to you with two drip-tips. A very simple plastic / metal and another made of glass. They are very correct and adapt perfectly to the aerial vape of this atomizer.

Reviewer's comments on conditioning
An entry-level package for an entry-level ato. A soft cardboard box surrounds a dense black foam which largely protects the product. Two resistors, a second drip-tip, spare gaskets: the package is complete. Only problem, no instructions in French. Well, I grant you, there is no need to leave Saint Cyr to understand how it works, but all the same a beginner would undoubtedly be reassured by the presence of a French-speaking manual.

The use is very simple. In addition this clearo is not played too big rough, it is rather compact. Changing the resistance is very easy and filling is even easier.
This atomizer is easy to live.
Only small flat, it does not disassemble, the cleaning is so delicate especially in the drying phase.
And one more awkward little thing. Condensation formed very quickly in the transparent air circulation jacket, it is not very pretty and it makes monitoring the juice level difficult.

The mood ticket of the reviewer
The first version of the Isub was too simple to establish itself in this ultra-competitive market for the sub tank clearo. With the Apex, Innokin is catching up a bit.
This review brings novelties and a vape more than correct.
With a well-placed price, ultra simple and efficient use, the Isub has almost everything, apart from building resistance. And that already condemns it to informed vapers.
But for a vapoteur not geek for two cents who wants to make direct inhalation, it is a wise choice. The atomizer is simple and works perfectly. So it's not a product that makes you dream, but it runs smoothly so it deserves people to stop on it.
The rating may seem high, but frankly the product is really good if we approach it with in mind that it is only a sub-ohm clearo then we can only objectively salute this good product.
