Eleaf will never stop expanding the family iStick hence the Pico X and Nowos, the last two borns.
The one we are discovering today is, I find, the most intriguing of the two Boxes mentioned above.
La Nowos adopts a new style, it only offers a variable power mode. It has an integrated 4400mAh battery and can reach 80W. And even offers a real novelty.
At 49.90 €, it is at the beginning of the mid-range which corresponds to the usual position of the brand.
But by the way, I announced a novelty, but which one? We will talk about it later, so as not to tell you everything right away.

Eleaf we propose a iStick completely new aesthetically. It adopts an ambiguous look because I would qualify it very modern but it also has a kind of neo-retro look. It is a kind of small sandwich which consists of two white plastic plates which surround a frame of zinc alloys.
The facades are immaculate white in the version that was provided to me on the other models, it is black. Monochromy is only interrupted by the inscriptions Eleaf on one and iStick Nowos on the other.
On the top of one of the slices, we find the Switch, a circular plastic button.
This fire button is for me the only small black point of this Box, from the first contact it reveals a feeling of fragility. At the bottom of the same side, we can see a small hole surmounted by the inscription reset.
On the opposite side, we discover the little surprise, a port which allows the recharging of the battery. So a micro-USB charging port, what's new? We'll see that later ...
On the Top-Cap, the essential 510 connection, the plate can accommodate Atomizers up to 26mm in diameter in all “flush”.
No other element, no more or less button, it's very clean, you will probably have to wait to find out where the settings buttons are.
The whole is clean, well assembled, pleasing to the eye, Eleaf we offer a product that at first glance, sticks with the tariff plan.

For this Nowos, Eleaf decided to keep it simple. A single variable power mode that will allow you to Vape on a value ranging from 1 to 80W. The resistance value must be between 0.1 and 3Ω, a typical range of use for a WV mode.
When you “wake up” your Box, one of the white sides lets the vintage-looking stick-type LED screen shine transparently.
It displays the power, the resistance value, the battery level in percentage. When we shoot, we are entitled to the “chrono puff” present on all iSticks.
The battery has a capacity of 4400mAh, which should provide a comfortable battery life. It can be recharged very quickly (80% in 45 minutes) thanks to…. A USB type C port, and yes, that's the novelty offered by this Box.
This plug equips the latest smartphones, the latest laptops and it offers greater strength because can withstand more powerful currents to provide a faster charge.

A black cardboard box that just bears the inscription Eleaf. It is wrapped in a thin cardboard box on which we find a photo of our Box on a black background and on the other sides, we find the usual procession of normative logos, social network links and the famous description of the content.
Inside are our Nowos, a USB cable type C and a record translated into several languages including French.
Nothing very folichon but it is serious and very clean and quite in line with the posted price.
Appreciations in use

Reviewer's comments on the use of the product
With its unique mode of operation variable power, the Nowos is easy to understand. As always, it suffices to make 5 successive presses on the Switch to start the Box and it also works to turn it off. To adjust the power, the +/- buttons must appear since they are “hidden”. 3 clicks on the fire button and 2 small light points appear on the front panel which integrates the screen, we will press left to lower the power and right to increase it. A click on the fire button and our two small controls disappear immediately while locking the chosen power.
It's very simple. The screen is easy to read, no need to take out your magnifying glass to read the information displayed.
The ergonomics are good, the size and weight are quite acceptable in view of the 4400 mAh of the battery.
The battery recharges quickly and this new USB standard is very practical since there is no sense in inserting the plug into the USB C port. The autonomy is very good especially if you Vape wise.
The Vape is good, the Box is reactive and delivers a perfectly regulated current.
An affordable product, you don't need to be a geek to enjoy it and which offers good performance.

The mood ticket of the reviewer
La Nowos does not present anything very new, well that's what we say if we stick to the fact that it only offers a simple single variable power mode.
So yes, the look is quite original, especially when you turn on the Box and the control screen is displayed transparently on the facade. Then, we wonder where are the +/- controls that allow you to adjust the power, a glance at the manual and we discover that you have to press the fire button 3 times. It is then that two small luminous circles are revealed above the area where the different constants are displayed. Ah that's new too, but it doesn't revolutionize the genre even if it's very nice.
The Box works well, it is easily tamed and ultimately is efficient in its simplicity. So good, the look, the screen, the controls are nice, but they are not enough.
There is the 4400mAh battery which offers a good autonomy but that is not new either. But we are on the right track since the big novelty on this Box lies in the USB type C port for recharging the built-in battery. This is, it seems to me, a real first and we should see this new standard develop. In addition to the practicality offered to us by the fact that the socket does not have a connection direction, this new standard allows the use of higher intensity currents and therefore faster recharging of your Box. Not to mention the icing on the cake, this new USB port is also more solid.
La Nowos does not revolutionize vaping but the approach ofEleaf is rather interesting. A versatile product, accessible to as many people as possible and quite practical on a daily basis which offers to go back to basics by offering us only the variable power mode.
We like the look or not, personally I'm not a big fan but I'm sure it will be popular with many people.
The only point on which I have a doubt is the Switch fire which suggests that it is perhaps a little fragile but this is only an impression certainly due to the fact that this button is made of plastic. To monitor.
In the end, a box rather nice and original that is able to suit beginners and more advanced Vapoteurs.
