IPv V2 is not an example in terms of perceived quality. Indeed the aluminum used to manufacture this box is of very poor quality. We are faced with Chinese aluminum of the style of that which is used in the manufacture of the chasis of the “majorette” (small cars). The case takes scratches very quickly, you will have to use protective “skins” if you want to preserve the coating. Classic switches are reliable but a little too “shiny”… for my taste.
The advantage of this box lies in the presence of a tactile switch which works perfectly. The screen is small in size but offers a clear view.
In short, we are dealing with an entry-level product.

This box has an efficient chipset, but with low resistances, it will be difficult to reduce the output voltage of the battery, especially when the latter is at 100% of its charge.
The mod is equipped with safety devices such as protection against pole reversal, protection against short circuits… etc.
Attention, I think that the 510 port will be inappropriate with the use of ato having an air inlet by the 510 thread. Indeed the slots on the 510 port do not find any extension on the box case . The tactile switch which in my opinion is the major asset of this box, works very well.

Reviewer's comments on conditioning

This box arrives in an “Apple” style plastic box. The packaging is simple but effective. Nothing fancy but it is very correct.
The manual is unfortunately only in English, but at least it is present.
We regret a bit to see the USB cable in a cardboard box apart, all being filmed together.
In short we saw better, but also worse.

Appreciations in use

• Transport facilities with the test atomizer: Ok for an inside jacket pocket (no deformations)
• Disassembly and cleaning facilities: Easy but requires a workspace
• Easy to change the batteries: Easy but requires a workspace to lose nothing

This box has very correct ergonomics. We instinctively find the buttons and its operation is very simple.
Medium in size, it is easily transported. it is easy to change batteries during the day, but you will need a mini screwdriver and a workspace so as not to lose the small screws.

The mood ticket of the reviewer

IPv v2 was a nice little machine when it was released. But it is clear that quality is not its strong point. The photos are flattering but the reality is quite different ...
The performances are at the rendezvous but at the time of the over-vitaminized boxes its “50 watts” are pale.
I repeat but for me its biggest asset is this tactile switch. Original, and well placed its use I am sure will delight you.
I do not hide from you that I am not seduced by the object. Low quality aluminum will not flatter your ego.
Since IPv2 S and IPv3 have been more attractive ... this box has had its day, even on promotion on some sites I cannot advise you not to succumb to temptation, you would certainly be disappointed if you attach from importance to quality.
In conclusion, as my teachers often told me, I would say “well, but could do better”.
