Here is spring and its flowering… box! Riding on the good returns of version 1 which displayed a power of 30W, Pioneer4You presents version 2 of the small house box which arrives to us with a comfortable power of 70W, ideally positioned between entry-level boxes and ultra-powerful boxes including the future IPV4 from the same manufacturer. Equipped with the SX330V2C chipset from Yihi (almost a guarantee now to obtain a good rendering) it is aesthetically the exact copy of its predecessor, Pioneer4You having chosen to make economies of scale by using the same box and only changing the version of the chipset. Well done, especially since this version 2 sends up to 70W for a price just above a dozen euros! The consumer therefore finds itself a winner!

Medium in size but with a significant weight, the box benefits from an excellent grip thanks to its tube / box mixture which allows a width of 40mm. No sharp edges here, the manufacturer having paid attention to the ergonomic aspect of its box. The switch contributes to general comfort by being very responsive and pleasant to the finger. In fact, the IPV Mini V2 is more to its advantage when you hold it than when you look at it.
Indeed, the finish is at the limit of tolerable. Catastrophic painting on aluminum (the NEW box that I have in hand already has a noticeable tear on the side when I am the first to open the packaging) which augurs a premature aging and a bottom-cap (more exactly flap for the battery) laughable, difficult to engage, light as a sigh which will inevitably deform at the first fall. And even if the buttons do not present any functional problem, we could have preferred a more noble material and a more precise adjustment.
In short, the qualities of this box, real and concrete, can be found elsewhere ...

This is where all the power of the box and all the quality of the Yihi chipset take precedence over a rough body. Indeed, the IPV Mini V2 behaves very well in almost all areas of play. With a tank atomizer with a cushy resistance at 1.4Ω and 17W, the vape is excellent, smooth and comfortable. . with a wild 0.2Ω 70W dripper, it sends everything it has (within the limit of 13A output, of course) to compete with the April clouds. And, if you'll allow me to make a personal judgment, this is where I appreciate the quality of a mod: when it behaves beautifully across all power segments. And it's rare enough to be reported. This chipset is a pearl of stability and precision and is not afraid to climb the towers and bow to your wildest eccentricities. On this level, it's almost perfect!
The IPV Mini V2 also offers easy and quick storage of your settings in five locations (M1… M5). It is enough that the mod is in stand-by (that the screen is in fact off) and the button + enters the memory menu which allows you to choose between M1, M2… and the power which is assigned to each space. In addition, it is possible to modify these presets using the button -. It's intuitive and easy and above all very useful if you change atomizers quite often during the day.
In rendering, the vape is powerful, precise and very pleasant. It allows the flavors to be fully released and also knows how to “send” when needed. A faultless for electronics!

Compared to the contained price of the IPV Mini V2, the packaging is clean if not exciting. A hard cardboard box contains, in addition to the mod, the fairly detailed instructions reserved for English speakers as well as a micro-usb / usb cable for recharging. It is little but sufficient, we have known worse for much more! And better for much less too …… 😉 l!

In use, the IPV Mini V2 is very comfortable to use and above all very versatile. Easy to use, easy to transport, safe and reliable in its rendering, there are not many faults to note. The mod heated up slightly when I ticked it at 70W on 0.2Ω but nothing very alarming, the intensity at this time exceeding what the box can normally send ...
If you want to get the maximum power from this mod while staying within the limits of the electronics, you can use a resistor between 0.41 and 1.1Ω approximately. Otherwise, you can still go very far in 0.2Ω (40W in fact to stay within the limits of the intensity) without risk. Be sure to use a battery that can follow and even exceed the intensity of the box (20 / 25A seems a good security compromise).

The mood ticket of the reviewer
If we pass the wanderings of the brand on the finish which is at the extreme limit of the acceptable, the IPV Mini V2 is an excellent product, reliable and comfortable. The chipset used is excellent and delivers a smooth, exact vape and communicates a precise rendering of flavors. Even at very high powers, the flavors are never crushed, a sign that the manufacturer has taken care of the versatility of its box to accompany you in all your cloudy delusions.
Despite its aesthetics without genius and its finish worthy of a car from the east of the 80s, I can only advise you to look at it twice because, beyond the great qualities of its engine, its price is no offense to the consumer and this is rare enough to be raised.
