We are far, very far from the first version of this mod ... which we remember for two reasons:
1> A unique shape, as often with Innokin (see picture above)
2> A more than approximate manufacturing quality, which made the cabbage of the various vape forums two more years ago… (we passed on the tips and news to “repair” this mod which is still effective).
We are so far away that the only question I ask myself is why? Why did they take so long to release this new version?
Let it be said, the Itaste SVD 2.0 is a mod with irreproachable build quality, which has nothing in common with its distant big brother but the name.

The Itaste SVD 2.0 is equipped with a UNIQUE version of DNA 20 from EVOLV.
Unique, because modified for the needs of Innokin, this version of DNA 20 offers protection against reverse polarity, as well as the “Step Down” function ...
For the record, none of these functions are available on the DNA 30 or on the DNA 40 ...
Let's move on to the protection against reverse polarity (which allows the chipset to avoid toasting if you accidentally insert the batteries in the wrong direction) ...
As for the Step-Down function, it deserves our full attention, as it offers the chipset the possibility of delivering less power than that available from the accumulator… which is just perfect for the sub-ohm.
All display functions are available from the superb OLED screen that accompanies the DNA 20, and finally the maximum “puff” time is 25 seconds…
The support of the various types of batteries will be done by the installation of the ad-hoc lower tube (among the two accompanying the product).
The Itaste comes with two heads (top-cap), one dedicated to 510 atomizers the other to Ego.
In either case, the positive stud is gold plated, and always spring loaded! PERFECT !
On paper as in fact, the Itaste SVD 2.0 has it all ... the only reason I see for its lack of visibility on the market is its shape (its form-factor), tubular in an ocean of boxes of all sizes ...

The Itaste SVD 2.0 comes in a beautiful box ego-reinforced type, to insert all parts of the product.
But in addition, this pocket is equipped with a battery tester whose use becomes absolutely essential once you have tried it.
The idea is so good that I wonder why no other manufacturer (to my knowledge) provides this type of tool in its carrying case.
Our protocols grant the product “only” 4/5 because the manual is not French ... otherwise we would have, once again, been facing a faultless!
Appreciations in use

A bit heavy with an 18650, but nothing to complain about in a mobile situation, beyond its weight which prevents it from being stored in the inside pocket of a jacket, this mod is a rock, easy to use copy.
NOTE: By testing it in sub-ohm (0.5) WITH a 18350 and the latter only, the Itaste asked me to check my battery every third fire… why? I do not know, it is as if he detected that my battery (although fully charged ...) could not hold on the length (which is normal in sub-ohm for this type of battery). I did not find anything in the manual, and I did not find anything on the net that explains the phenomenon ...
No worries in 18650 configuration, or in 18350 and a standard resistor ...

The mood ticket of the reviewer
I love this mod, I love it.
Its modular design (the two tubes and the two top caps with a gold-plated stud… on a spring…) allow it to be used with all possible atomizers.
Its sub-ohm features add drippers to an already long list of possible configurations.
Whether its screw threads worthy of a provari or a pipeline, its superb screen, or its chipset and its vape as smooth as the rule of my math teacher, this mod has everything to please.
Don't ask me why he hasn't made more noise on the market… apart from a cyclical frenzy for boxes, I don't see, and I don't understand.
Whether you are beginners or expert vapers, this mod will be able to accompany you everywhere and for any style of vape.
I highly recommend it, for 90 euros, it will surely be a faithful companion.
