The RDTA (Rebuildable Dry Tank Atomizer) madness never ends, we find a whole slew of atomizers offering a vape close to a dripper but with a tank. The Higo from Chinese Focusecig is part of this family. At less than 40 €, it is placed in the entry of the mid-range.
You will undoubtedly say to yourself “another RDTA”, but Focusecig promises us something new on this product, which is arriving in a sector of the market which does not lack candidates whose prices hover around 40 €.
We are therefore entitled to wonder what it will bring more or less.

Reviewer's comments on physical characteristics and perceived quality
First of all, the Higo is long, it exceeds 60mm. Its design is similar to that of the Bellus but I find that the Higo does not shine in terms of design. Indeed, I do not find it very elegant, with its industrial side and its length does not make it attractive. On the other hand, you will have a reserve of 6ml of juice.
All in steel and pyrex, the machining of the product is correct, the materials themselves, are in accordance with the price level.
It is made up of 9 pieces that fit together properly and not too hard. The threads are of sufficient quality, the neon green joints are also of good quality even if I'm not a fan of the color.
His name is engraved on the base of the ato. Here again, we think of the Bellus. The top-cap is equipped with a toothed wheel, we will see its use later.
A double airflow: one on the side of the resistors that we manage simply by turning the ring and the other, which is located at the base of the ato, composed of two holes whose opening is adjusted with two independent knobs.
Objectively, the Higo is in phase with the level of the range in which it competes. On the other hand and this is totally subjective, its size, its diameter / length ratio seem to me unbalanced and its design lacks character.

The Higo has an 510 connection, the depth of which you can adjust with a screw. The assembly is possible in single or double coil.
The filling is done from the top, by turning the notched wheel of the top cap which is pierced with two holes.
Two independent airflow systems that supply the resistors, as desired, either from below or from the sides or both at the same time. This airflow system also allows to feed a single coil in case of simple coil assembly.
The Higo also has an adjustment of the arrival of juice, thanks to a ring located at the base of the mounting plate.
This Higo therefore has everything that we find on the flagship RDTA atomizers of the moment, it is mainly distinguished by its dual management of the airflow.

Reviewer's comments on conditioning
Like many products at this level of the range, the Higo is presented in a transparent plastic box. Wedged in a foam, the atomizer is accompanied by a spare tank, replacement seals and screws, two coils and cotton, in short, everything is there.
For the instructions, it is in fact a very brief note in English that you will find on the back of the box. It is not extraordinary, but it is absolutely correct.

Reviewer's comments on the use of the product
The assembly in single coil is very easy, in duplicate it is a little more delicate, because of having to cross the wires since there are only two ports, the accessibility of the plate however facilitates the operation. The cotton is placed in the two small tanks very logically.
The arrival of juice is regulated according to the viscosity thanks to the ring located at the base of the plate.
The airflow adjustments are easy, precise and efficient, you will go from tight to very airy without worry.
I like less filling. Fill from the top by rotating the toothed wheel of the top cap in order to align the two holes of the latter with the two holes of the tank. It's very simple but the size of the holes requires you to use a needle vial. Otherwise, you will have to unscrew the drip tip support, remove the notched wheel, thus, you will have direct access to the holes of the tank which are a bit larger, but even in this case, you will need a rather thin tip.
As for the vape offered by this atomizer, it is in the good average of this type of product, with a good production of vapor and a good restitution of flavors. We can note that the Higo is particularly versatile, because of its possibility of making single or double coil and because of its hyper-flexible airflow settings.

The mood ticket of the reviewer
Here is another RDTA type atomizer, it is fashion and Focusecig offers us its Higo which is ultra versatile.
The Higo really only suffers from one flaw: its top filling system, simple but compatible only with needle-type tips. We can also note its large size as a handicap at a time when atomizers tend to be shorter.
Beside that, nothing to blame him. A vape flexible to wish, a restoration of the flavors very correct and a good autonomy (6ml).
So, objectively, it's a good product with good value for money. But I find it pretty plain and I don't like the design at all, so I won't make it my companion, but I'm sure others will adopt it and I think they will be happy with it.
