VDLV. It is no longer worth presenting the company, as the reputation is great and the reputation has been established for a long time. Our evaluation protocol penalizes the presence of alcohol and distilled water in e-liquids. Notwithstanding the presence of these substances in the “Great Mystery”, this deserves some explanation for a manufacturer which is also exemplary in this chapter of regulatory and health obligations.
One of the particularities of the brand is to favor natural flavors. In its manufacturing process, VDLV incorporates alcohol (support for natural flavors) to ensure better stability of its aromas and ultra-pure water (Milli-Q) whose harmlessness has been proven. It should also be noted that propylene glycol and vegetable glycerin are of PE (European Pharmacopoeia) quality.
The exclusively natural food flavors are all produced in France according to the requirements of the manufacturer's specifications. They do not contain sugar, oil, diacetyl (or possibly in trace amounts), gum, GMO substances, or any of the allergenic aromatic substances subject to an obligation to declare.
“Les Grands” e-liquids are packaged in glass bottles with a capacity of 10ml, fitted with a glass pipette, a tamper-evident ring and a child-resistant cap.
In accordance with European legislation, each bottle has personalized labeling mentioning the design and the name of the flavor, the composition of the e-liquid, the nicotine level, the name, address and e-commerce site of the company, the best before date and the batch number. Comments on the taste of the juice
"Great Mystery. A mystical e-liquid! A mysterious blend of citrus fruits and 100% natural absinthe."
VDLV's promise is kept. The citrus fruit set is perfectly restored and has a good taste that gives off the naturalness of the fruits picked when ripe.
Absinthe is delicately superimposed on this set to give it a little aniseed touch.
Reading the description, I was a little worried about this contribution. Absinthe is an aroma that can quickly become dominant in a recipe, but Vincent's team has been able to dose the ingredient sparingly. The result is perfectly homogeneous and the alchemy suffers from no reproach.
The aromatic power is moderate but the presence and the holding in mouth are ideally calibrated.
The hit of my copy received in 6 mg / ml is consistent, the volume of vapor in line with what is expected of a juice with 50% vegetable glycerin.

Absinthe, finely dosed, will be more present on dripper.
I nevertheless regained the good balance on the ato tank and I did not notice any depreciation of flavors when the temperature rose. Despite everything, I preferred a rather cold / warm vapor as well as a moderate resistance temperature which seemed more appropriate to me.

My mood ticket on this juice
It is in my soul and conscience that I decide to award a “Top Juice” to this “Great Mystery”.
In my humble opinion and despite a protocol that does not grant this distinction below a score of 4.6 / 5, this juice meets all the criteria that we ask for recipes that surpass the average production.
All the elements are there:
- A presentation fully compliant with the legislation in force.
- State-of-the-art “safe” manufacturing in terms of monitoring and analyzes constantly carried out by the manufacturer.
- A quality of indisputable aromas.
- A design / production without any criticism and demonstrating mastery and know-how ...
The icing on the cake, this recipe is of great taste value. The different aromas are credible, perfectly balanced, the alchemy of this blend does not suffer from any criticism.
