Smok has just released a competition box ^^. Apart from a racy look with its curves and its carbon coating on the rear face, a large fully touch screen has taken the place of the traditional display which was in a very small strip. The box includes all the features that Smok has been offering for a while now. The Bluetooth connection is no longer present on this model, and, if you wish, you can download using the flash code, a small application that will allow you to chat with addicts of the brand.

The box is of an imposing format, 85mm high, 58,5mm wide and 28mm deep, which makes it compatible with 25mm diameter atomizers for flush mounting. Thanks to its brass spring pin, the connection will be perfectly secure.
I love the switch of this box, like that of the Alien would you tell me. The trigger system (switch bar) is well thought out and its use remains flexible. With a height of 58mm and a width of 16,5mm, you can't miss it. It is located on the left side of the screen.
The big novelty of this model is its large OLED touch screen. A fairly strong base brightness, fortunately it is possible to decrease it from the settings. The readable part of the screen is no less than 49,5 mm high and 37 mm wide, which gives us comfortable visibility. The screen underwent projections of balls with a force of 64G and it therefore resisted, according to Smok, the solidity is there. The touch responds very well, there is no latency.
This small button will be used to lock the screen. Better to think about doing it if not having it in hand, the settings can move. It happened to me, and taking a puff at 220 W is not good ^^.
Under the box, there are no less than three heat dissipation vents which will also cool the screen and prevent the batteries from heating up. in addition to these vents also allowing possible degassing you will find the micro USB port to connect to a computer in order to update the firmware and recharge your batteries if necessary.
The back cover is held firmly in place by four powerful magnets. You just have to pull on the small notch provided to open it. The wide fabric band will allow you to easily remove the batteries.

The box is equipped with variable power mode (VW) and temperature control mode (TC) for the following resistives: Ni 200, Titanium and SS. In VW mode, the resistances accepted are from 0,10 Ω to 3 Ω and the power is variable from 1 to 220 W. In TC mode, resistances are accepted from 0,06 Ω to 3 Ω, for an adjustment range of degrees from from 100 ° C to 315 ° C or 200 ° Ft to 600 ° Ft. The display also indicates the remaining charge of the batteries, the date and the day of the week.
For the switching of modes, everything goes through the setting interface. In VW mode you can select 4 different types: soft, normal, hard or max. This makes it possible to preheat the coils which have a diesel effect more quickly. Subsequently to adjust the power, you will only have to press on one side or the other of the screen. At the bottom of the screen we will be able to see the necessary amperage delivered by the batteries, the voltage and the resistance value.

Whether at 30 W or 150 W, the box follows without a hitch. No heating observed or even a possible problem. In the dark, it's a pleasure to make adjustments based on the brightness of the screen. The temperature control on stainless steel among other things is precise and works perfectly. The 4 settings in W mode are practical, in max with a diesel assembly, paf! it starts immediately, no latency. The switch is very responsive and flexible, very appreciable in use. The box does not consume energy, with a power of 60 W the day it took place without changing the batteries.

The mood ticket of the reviewer
I appreciated this model from Smok, the box is dynamic and responsive. I am under the spell of its switch, having big hands, it is very practical not to look for it. His screen, so he, Ladies and Gentlemen, makes all the difference. Whether indoors, outdoors, sun, light, nothing prevents it from being readable and thus being able to adjust your box in all conditions. Apart from the weight, 289 grams with batteries, I have no negative points to note. It's a good product, and good or bad, it must be said.
