Just before taking a deserved vacation, I had tested in quick succession two drippers offered by a Chinese brand that I didn't know much about: Vandy Vape. This firm adopts a philosophy comparable to that of Geekvape: to offer cutting-edge and high-performance products at very affordable prices.
I fell successively under the spell of the Pulse and the Govad, efficient, easy to use and inexpensive. So, when I saw the RTA version of one of my two “darlings” arrive, I said to myself that I couldn't miss it.
It is therefore the Govad that is seen here in a tank version. It takes the gold-plated and mono-coil plate of the dripper to which the brand grafts a 4ml tank with a filling from the top ... I keep it for the rest ^^.
The recipe is always the same: a practical and effective atomizer, a very complete pack, a nice price.
So, on the way to meet my future allday, if however it is at the height of his dripper namesake.

Reviewer's comments on physical characteristics and perceived quality
The Govad is a synthesis between the Kylin (1er RTA of this young Chinese brand), which he takes the main aesthetic lines and the Govad RDA, which he takes the plateau.
We are faced with a rather massive atomizer. Its diameter reaches 26mm at the level of the tank, it goes back to 24mm at the level of the top and the bottom-cap. We find the Vandy Vape brand engraved on the top-cap, “notches” are machined all around its periphery to facilitate opening for filling. Once the top-cap is removed, we discover two large openings which will be compatible with all the bottles and pipettes on the market.
The pyrex tank is very exposed, it will be necessary to remember to protect it with a silicone ring. It has a small defect, it is a bit too long, which prevents the chimney and the bell from fitting perfectly. This certainly does not cause any malfunction, if not visually.
The bell is dressed in two laser engravings, the brand logo and the name of the atomizer. We also notice the two adjustable juice arrivals.
We come to the bottom-cap where we take two very wide air intake slots, the size of which can be varied by turning the airflow adjustment ring.
The mounting plate uses the very practical spring clamp system for mounting the coils, even with exotic resistive wires. A double airflow system, from below and from the side, should in principle help to concentrate the flavors. Everything is gold plated, just like the 510 pine.
The overall quality of manufacturing is good, the design is rather nice even if little innovative. We will say that Vandy Vape did the job without revolutionizing the genre.

Reviewer's comments on functional features
Let's start with the assembly of the coil. It is a pleasure of simplicity, the system of clamps on spring allows you to set up your resistance very easily and this, whatever the direction in which you have wound it. In addition, this system does not deform the coil when tightening and just that, it's already a very good point. To finish with this part, the maximum diameter of the coil will be 4 mm.
The “cotton” is also very simple. Once your wick has passed through the resistive wire, it will suffice to put the two ends of the cotton in the two housings provided for this purpose. The ideal dosage is found quite easily, always in the “neither too much nor too little".
The filling is done from the top, the top-cap is easily unscrewed thanks to its engravings which ensure a good grip. As I already told you, the two large holes hidden under the top-cap will be compatible with all types of pouring tips.
You just have to remember to shut off the juice supply before performing the maneuver. This system will also be practical to adapt the device to the viscosity of your juice by opening it more or less according to the ratio of VG, it can also be beneficial in case you have incorrectly dosed your cotton (within certain limits of course …).
The airflow is also adjustable thanks to the ring located on the bottom-cap, it is precise and efficient but does not have a stop. You can completely shut off the air supply.
An easygoing RTA, no particular fault to report, the discovery continues in a tone always positive.

In the pack, there are two drip-tips. The first with a diameter of 17.5 mm is in Ultem, it is for me intended for the highest powers. The second, with a diameter of 14 mm, is in delrin, it is intended for “intermediate” use. Finally, you will also find an 510 adapter which will allow even wiser use. So there is something for all tastes and all vapes.

Reviewer's comments on conditioning
A simple box, of average quality, but we are in total adequacy with the price level. Where Vandy Vape scores points is on the content.
In addition to our atomizer, we find two different drip-tips and an 510 adapter, a replacement pyrex tank, screws and springs for clamps and a set of joints of different colors.
Two small tools are also present, a classic Phillips screwdriver and a more unusual two "horn" wrench, the usefulness of which I will explain below. Finally, a fairly comprehensive user manual, translated into several languages including French, and that is always fun and very useful.
A very complete pack, it may only be missing a coil and some cotton, but there, given the price, I'm picky ...

Reviewer's comments on the use of the product
I will not go back on the ease of assembly and filling, this atomizer is easy to live with.
The maintenance is quite simple and I take this opportunity to tell you about the small key present in the pack. It is intended to allow you to disassemble the pyrex tank which is held by the chimney integral with the filling plate and by the bell of the atomization chamber. Without him, we have a hard time and with him, it becomes very simple! Besides, it may be useful with other atomizers which are built on the same structural concept. So a big thank you to Vandy Vape.
In terms of restitution of flavors, we are on very good. The specific airflow system concentrates the aromas well and the result is felt.
The capacity of 4 ml is correct, even if the atomizer is greedy in sub-ohm use. Its diameter and finally its use seems to me ideal for electro boxes in mono battery 26650 (vt75 Hcigar, Hotcig DX 75…), but this is only my opinion.
No leaks to deplore, this is a plus that does not seem to go without saying on other RDTAs. It should be noted a great versatility thanks to the airflow and liquid inlet settings. A very good companion for everyday life.

The mood ticket of the reviewer
After signing a very good dripper, Vandy vape manages to make a very good tank version of it for us. The Govad is completely in line with what we have the right to expect from an RTA atomizer.
Its main advantage lies in its assembly plate, which is very easy to use, even if it offers a strict mono coil assembly. The position of the air inlets really optimizes the restitution of aromas. As with most atomizers in this category, there is a filling from the top.
The build quality is correct, we will just note the small defect in the length of the pyrex which, I remind you, does not pose any problem in use.
You can spend any type of juice and its capacity of 4 ml is sufficient, even if the Govad is relatively greedy, other constant atomizers of this type.
If you add to that a complete pack and a measured price, we have a very good candidate to join the collection of your “allday” atomizers.
A very good product that I recommend, perfect for everyday on-the-go use. If it does not reach the top ato, it is really not very far. So if you are looking for a good easy going single coil RTA, you have just found it.
