Comments on the packaging

After a very successful Nuts Crunch, I admit my impatience to start testing this Fraisy Crunch, a new offshoot of MC Liquide's “Gold Collection” range. A range positioned in a premium taste segment and yet modest in terms of price since it peaks at 5.90 € for 10ml.

Proposed in a cardboard box all dressed in black, a plastic bottle whose shape differs a little from the other elements of the range (different batch?) Is equipped with a thin dropper (tip), just to facilitate the filling of atomizers , which is always an undeniable plus and a de facto new standard.

Available in 0, 3, 6, 11 and 16mg / ml, the Fraisy Crunch is ready to face the hordes of vapers who will want to give it a regular drain, whatever their nicotine need. Placed on a balanced base of 50/50 PG / VG, the liquid therefore relies on the faithful transcription of flavors backed by a vapor that we imagine to be quite dense.

In any case, this is what we will see below.

Comments on the security, legal, health and religious aspects

It is enough to know that the liquid complies with the requirements of the TPD and that, as a consequence, the safety aspect has been well understood by the brand. This being an emanation of the Solevan group, it is therefore not a real surprise.

Only one element is missing, it is the mention of the production laboratory. A forgivable breach when the distributor is present and various contact details will allow him to be approached in the event of a problem.

The liquid contains purified water, a classic in French vaping, which will only annoy the rare allergic to this substance who have the particularity of gathering every morning at the bistro at the corner of my street.

For the rest, the detail of the composition is exemplary and even stipulates the presence of furaneol, a compound of natural origin often present in the world of flavors, used as an additive to create a caramelized texture in the juices.

A warning for an allergenic component is also included on the label. Nothing alarming because it will only concern the rare people who are possibly allergic to strawberries and who may have immediately suspected that a liquid called Fraisy Crunch could contain it. I find that this mention honors its manufacturer, anxious to protect the concerned consumers of possible side effects.

Appreciation of the packaging

  • Does the graphic design of the label and the product name agree ?: Yes
  • Global correspondence of the packaging with the product name: Yes

Comments on the packaging

The typical packaging of the range is quite rewarding for an entry-level product. Between the box that protects your investment and a simple but clear and classy graphic charter in its sobriety, you could imagine yourself in the higher price segment.

MC Liquide shows here that it is possible to have good weather, even taking into account legal obligations, the small size of the support and even a minimum price. Special mention for the clarity of the typo which, in white on a black background, gives visibility to the information.

Comments on the taste of the juice

We find in the Fraisy Crunch DNA range that the Nuts Crunch could make us discover.

A bed of cereals in which we recognize oats and wheat serves at the same time as a taste base and as a binder. On this bed rests a soft and sweet strawberry, particularly long in the mouth, whose flavor oscillates between a Malabaresque strawberry candy and a coulis.

The furaneol effect is felt by giving a caramelized texture to the whole. Be careful, I am talking about texture and not taste. Which brings the liquid more like a gourmet confectionery than a cereal breakfast. But the result is very pleasant to vape and the balance of the recipe highlights a very particular taste which, in my opinion, should win the support of gourmets.

The Fraisy Crunch is successful, the sweet blend is devilishly addictive and shows that, even with strings already proven in vaping, we can still differentiate ourselves by offering a very personal reading of a classic.

Tasting recommendations

  • Recommended power for optimal taste: 35 W
  • Type of vapor obtained at this power: Dense
  • Hit type obtained at this power: Medium
  • Atomizer used for the review: Kayfun V5, Narda, Nautilus 2
  • Value of the resistance of the atomizer in question: 0.50
  • Materials used with the atomizer: Stainless steel, Cotton

Comments and recommendations for an optimal tasting

The hit is coherent but rather soft, the vapor quite dense and well textured. The tasting can take shape in any atomizer because the juice is very versatile and will also easily accommodate a rather precise clearomizer than a dripper.

The ideal temperature is in the warm average to serve the fruit and the viscosity of the liquid makes it compatible with all the devices.

My mood ticket on this juice

Being a big detractor of the strawberry in the vape because I find this fruit extremely overrated, over-used and above all, as a general rule, very chemical in e-liquids, I am surprised to discover that with a new use which accentuates it the confectioner aspect, we can achieve such a nice result.

That's what the Fraisy Crunch is: likable. Its blend of cereals and strawberries, coupled with this caramelized effect, makes it look like a new and endearing candy that juggles with the usual codes to, in the end, retain none.

A fairly daring bet, but I think it pays off since the results are very positive. So I dare in my turn and I give it a top-juice, convinced that this product will find many fans among lovers of fruity and original sweets.
