Comments on the packaging

Mixup Labs and gluttony is an old story punctuated with great successes in the Chubbiz Gourmand range. The Basque manufacturer has reason to be proud of some of the most interesting and successful dessert liquids that we have ever tested in our atomizers.

Today, the brand completes its collection with four new mouth-watering references while avoiding the repetition effect so common in the category. After a somewhat nebulous Unicorn Cake already published in our pages, here is today the Fat Chef who takes the microphone and takes center stage.

Our liquid still sits in a 70ml bottle which contains 50ml of overdosed flavor. Suffice to say that extending it by 10 or 20 ml of boosters and/or neutral base will therefore be a formality to obtain the desired nicotine level.

The price is 19.90 €, in the average market price and Fat Chef is also available in a 100 ml version for 26.90 €. You can find this special gourmet format here.

As usual at Mixup Labs, the base is entirely of vegetable origin, both for the glycerin, which is a minimum, and for the propylene glycol. The trend is spreading little by little in the profession and we can only give it the maximum interest, whether for the health of consumers or for the agricultural sector. In France, we don't have oil but...

This base is 30/70 PG/VG. Normal for a liquid intended to be recreational and inhabit the boldest of our cloud-generating devices. It will therefore be necessary to check if your personal locomotives can accommodate this viscosity and if so, you should not be disappointed with the trip... 😎

Comments on the security, legal, health and religious aspects

Go your way, sent anti-vape associations, this is not where you will find grain to grind. Everything is done in the most transparent way and for a long time by a manufacturer who took the pulse of the situation early on.

We can regret the absence of a telephone number for customer service but the address is there, it's already not bad!

Comments on the packaging

The packaging has always been part of the user experience at Mixup Labs and is often very neat. Here, it is also the case even if the illustration chosen is not really innovative in terms of design. A hilarious cartoon chef is in the kitchen to concoct a dessert of his own creation. It's square, in the theme, but not really inspired.

We console ourselves with the always impeccable clarity of the informative texts, the rare ones where I don't have to take my magnifying glass to decipher, and the fact that the label does not meet from edge to edge, it leaves the field open to the eye to see the remaining fluid level. Smart!

  • Did I like this juice? Yes

Comments on the taste of the juice

I have great news! Mixup Labs has found the road to taste!

Indeed, the Fat Chef has everything you could wish for in a hearty gourmet liquid. It is sweet, of course, but also endowed with a beautiful aromatic power and the texture so particular to the brand, a crazy smoothness!

The score opens with a note of sponge cake and quickly slides towards the center of the debate, a vanilla cream full of flavor, between pastry cream and butter cream, almost mousseline cream as the texture in the mouth is melting. The vanilla is pronounced but drowns in an ocean of sweetness. It's a real regressive pleasure, the same trip as when Grandma brings us a homemade Paris Brest on Sunday!

The recipe is above all gourmet but also shows a nice balance between texture and taste. The homemade paw is there and that's good!

The liquid you have to keep for yourself, typically. Do not share with anyone!

Tasting recommendations

Comments and recommendations for an optimal tasting

To vape urgently but in an atomizer adapted to the viscosity, you will have understood it. Rather in DL or RDL because the aromatic power is strong and the ratio allows a good production of clouds.

Selfishly solo or in duo with a coffee or hot chocolate and even with a rather tangy fruit, blackcurrant, citrus fruit or whatever you want, to perfect the moment!

Recommended Moments

  • Recommended times of the day: Morning, Morning - coffee breakfast, Morning - chocolate breakfast, Morning - tea breakfast, End of lunch / dinner with coffee, All afternoon during everyone's activities, Start of evening to relax with a drink, End of the evening with or without herbal tea, The night for insomniacs
  • Can this juice be recommended as an all-day vape: Yes

Overall average (excluding packaging) of the Vapelier for this juice: 4.59 / 5 4.6 5 out of stars

My mood ticket on this juice

The Fat Chef is an excellent liquid that enters the Chubbiz Gourmand family through the front door! Happily finding all the secret ingredients that have made the reputation of the brand, it imposes its taste above all but also an inimitable texture that overshadows the most prestigious of gourmets!

Top Vapelier, of course!
