To say that Joyetech offers a mess of new things is just a no-brainer. Indeed, not a month goes by without a new ato or a new mod. Joyetech thus hopes to occupy space in the e-cigarette market and, unlike certain competitors such as Innokin, to play with the quantity of references to be present at all levels of the range and in all sectors of vape.

An aggressive commercial policy which has been perfectly successful so far for the Chinese giant because this commercial forcing is accompanied in 90% of cases by great care in the manufacture of the products offered, always coupled with a particularly advantageous quality / price ratio for the vapoteur.

Today, Joyetech offers us version 2 of one of its biggest bestsellers, if not the biggest: the EVIC VTC Mini. The Evic Vtwo Mini therefore arrives all haloed with the glory of its glorious predecessor and the many vapers who had rightly cracked on the VTC expect, as usual with Joyetech, a host of new features.

This is where the story may get a little tough, I'm telling you straight away. 

The VTwo, let's call it by its first name, is sold under the psychological bar of 50 €. It sends 75W on an 18650 battery. It is therefore in the lower part of the mid-range and should interest confirmed or expert vapers in their daily movements because we have here a box size and weight content, powerful enough, deemed reliable and packed with features. It is available in black, white, red, blue and orange. Let's see where all this leads us.

Aesthetically, the VTwo is the perfect clone of the VTC Mini. Bigger screen? No, sir. Changed ribs? No, ma'am. Different coating? No more. It's the same, exactly the same, exactly the same.

We are therefore on a box of good quality, with a pleasant coating, a traditional parallelepiped shape and twin in every point, anatomically speaking, of its predecessor. To put it bluntly, Joyetech just recycled its VTCs and didn't sprain its spleen to give its best-seller a different lineage. The daughter looks exactly like the mother. This is often the case, you will tell me. But there, it is undoubtedly too disturbing!

The different buttons are also identical to those of the VTC. No change. Always pleasant to handle, they offer the advantage of an easy and proven topography and fall naturally under the fingers.

The quality is preserved but, quite between us, I would have much preferred that Joyetech split a real new model and do better than recycle the old one. Even if the aesthetic is far from being “has-been” in view of its very “Bauhaus” simplicity, we could have hoped for a risk-taking and perhaps a significant change since we are on a real change of version. , and not a V1.2 ...

The first contact therefore leaves a taste of unfinished business.

It is here that resides the long awaited revolution which gives all its interest to this VTwo: the clock !!!!

Indeed, for the rest, it's all the same. Apart from a double protection of the batteries, still useful of course, but as the previous simple protection worked very well, we can discuss the real interest, there is also a change of firmware version which goes here to version 4.02, upgrade of which the most -value remains to be determined. I saw no difference except the aforementioned clock. 

Note also the essential presence of the possibility of including a personalized logo ... Between that and the clock, here is the real ambition of the VTwo. For those who expected a revolution or even an evolution, move around, there's nothing to see ...

Still, the VTwo fortunately inherits features already present on the VTC: temperature control in NI200, Titanium and SS316, in TCR, power mode and By-Pass mode for a semi-mechanical mode. 

The story therefore continues without much suspense. I'm starting to think that Joyetech lacked ambition at the time.

We are on Joyetech packaging, which means that the consumer is not harmed.

It's complete: instructions in French, things to scratch where you never win, a translucent silicone skin, a charging cable. In short, the total Chinese style of professional packaging that Westerners seem to be struggling to provide for products three times more expensive.

This packaging resembles that of the VTC Mini, you will understand!

Unbelievable ! The VTwo works as well as the VTC !!!! 

Nothing to raise, it is always so good. The chipset behaves admirably, the functions are accessible quickly, the box does not seem to consume more energy than its ancestor. Everything is fine. And then, the presence of the clock is of obvious use if you do not have a watch or a cell phone, which must be the case for one in 100000 French. 

In terms of the vape rendering, it's quite astonishing there again, it is exactly the same as that of the VTC! Tested in comparison with the same atom, the same power, we obtain rigorously the same good level of vape. No more no less. 

It's great, Joyetech managed to copy their own material. And without being mistaken, please!

The mood ticket of the reviewer

What is Joyetech's ambition with this product which is exactly the same, with two peanuts close, to the previous one? It's simple: continue to occupy the field of novelty, even if it means rebadging its older models. If, commercially, it holds, it is different with innovation which is totally absent here.

I have the impression that after a Reuleaux RX200S which is only a slight improvement of the previous one and a VTwo which is almost identical to the VTC, the Joyetech group is resting a little on its achievements, brilliant it must be recognize and try to persist in the panorama by multiplying a versioning without real interest.

In conclusion, for those who do not have the VTC Mini, you may be seduced by the VTwo Mini and your purchase will only cause you amenities. For others, go your way waiting for a VThree hoping that Joyetech finds an inspiration that seems to be momentarily down.
