The Manufacturer gave us a little surprise with this ePoch D1. We find a bit of everything: Taifun in its base, Kayfun 4 under the board, Orchid above, Aqua V1 for adjusting the juice and a look reminiscent of the Subtank. But does this mixture work?… A priori yes, but we remain in a mid-range, so let's not seek excellence, we are already quite good!

Reviewer's comments on physical characteristics and perceived quality
We have a quality that is perfectly correct, a coherent assembly that does not wobble, threads that are easy to screw and joints that do their job perfectly.
The engraving on the ring of the top of the tank seems quite deep and well executed. The air flow ring is easy to rotate and does not move once the setting is done.
For the assembly and disassembly of this atomizer, it is best to practice these manipulations with a cloth to avoid injury, because the body of the tank and the top of the bell are sharp.

The positive pad is adjustable by a copper screw, but be careful not to over-unscrew it otherwise it will fall off the board to which it is attached.
The air flow can be very air like very tight, a good point that makes it possible to make resistances of small values (subohm).
Like the Kayfun 4, the channels are located under the tray to bring the liquid up to the suction. Between the base and the top, on a rectangular piece, four channels that lead to the curved and drilled holes on the top have been machined.
On the board, there are three studs. A positive stud in the center with two separate screws and a negative stud at each end. We therefore have a double coil with a dedicated binding for each of the resistance legs. The air supply, under the resistors, is eccentric to facilitate assembly. In addition, these air-flows are enhanced to avoid clogging and if a surplus of liquid occurs (a flow poorly adjusted by an opening that is too large), it would be recovered in the large and hollow base.
The bell-shaped chimney is peculiar on its high part, it is equipped with a kind of fin which limits the opening of the bell by stop and its extremity of semicircular form, fits in the top cap for be able to screw and unscrew the bell when the atomizer is closed so you can easily adjust the flow of juice as needed.

An honorable conditioning for this price range.
Comes with a manual only in English, all features are understandable by the many photos that garnish this booklet. There are also many joints with two additional screws and a small screwdriver and a black top cap to replace the one that is delivered to choose the drip tip that you want with an 510 fixation.

Reviewer's comments on the use of the product
This atomizer requires a time of adaptation to find, depending on the resistance achieved and the power, the liquid flow rate to be applied. If a surplus of liquid arrives, it will be recovered in the hollow part of the base, with a risk of air leakage if you lay the set up (only in case of bad adjustment).
Filling with the top cap is easy but requires first to screw the bell completely. Once the atomizer closed do not forget to unscrew the bell before feeling the dry hit, otherwise despite the late opening, the dry hit will persist (by removing the top cap and then repositioning, it can solve the problem) .
The assembly is really simple but pay attention to the position of the ends of the wick in the curved parts on the plate, you must not tamp too much otherwise you will create a kind of plug.
For screwing and unscrewing the tank and the bell, the parts are sharp so it is preferable to take precautions for these manipulations.

The mood ticket of the reviewer
New! The e-Poch D1 is an atomizer that offers all the main features (but no! It doesn't make coffee).
The faults of this atomizer are:
- Its capacity of 2.5ml in relation to its size. A hollow base that makes losing a significant place in the tank for the benefit of flavors that are ultimately correct but not exceptional.
- Can not access the assembly without emptying its tank.
- It will be necessary to practice this atomizer during a certain time to succeed in dosing and positioning your assembly (resistance / wick / power) and simultaneously to regulate the arrival of the juice. To avoid the dry hit or the surplus of liquid.

The advantages of this atomizer are:

Beginners in the rebuildable could have some difficulty finding a balance for their vape with the risks of dry hit, but for the more seasoned, it can be a nice surprise, as much for a vape around 1.2 ohms as for the subohm towards the 0.5 ohm… .it's a double coil!
