The Chinese are the most prolific when it comes to vaping material. The Ehpro firm since 2011 is not the least active and has, in the past, offered some of the most popular atos or mods (Billow, Mr Owl, Copper Seeker ..). For a price that is always fair, the manufacturer releases clean equipment, very well finished, and most of the time frankly at the top in terms of functionality.
This time we have to do with an RTA of modest capacity, in double coil, well presented, accompanied by useful accessories, and sold for a very reasonable price by vapexperience whom I thank for entrusting us with the review.

With its black top-cap (drip-top) and shiny stainless steel body, it stands out (in a good way). Its size is counted with the proprietary drip-top. An additional top-cap is delivered with the set, it allows you to adapt the 510 drip-tip of your choice.
Very neat overall, only the notched AFC ring slightly exceeds the general diameter of the ato, you will understand without altering the aesthetics, this promotes its handling. The 4 lights of the body let see the level of juice up to the base of the tray. The heating chamber arrives 2mm from the top of the lights. Quite substantial in volume, it takes up the space that one or two ml of additional juice would in my opinion have had to occupy. The tank is thick: 15 / 10th of a mm in glass, its installation is easy as long as you have taken care to moisten it with juice beforehand, the micro seal of the upper body tending to follow the downward movement despite the sensible groove to hold it in place. The clear plate offers a working surface with a diameter of 14mm, the resistance fixing screws are in stainless steel, cruciform heads. The adjustable positive pin is made of copper, it is necessary to remove it for disassembly of the base / AFC part of the ato. Classic 45 ° filling by the annular slot between the tank and the body, once the tank / drip-top has been removed, (by the same unscrewing operation).

The filling and the air intake adjustment are the main functions of this ato, if we can make the filling appear as a function…. You can access the filled ato coil, handling is simple. The AFC holds its position correctly once it has been chosen.
The plate is small, it will be necessary to take care of the assembly in DC to obtain a simultaneous and homogeneous heating of the resistors. The little space makes this operation less obvious on the Epoch. Prefer cotton or FF (not tight) to any other capillary.

In fact of drip-tip you are in the presence of a drip-top in Peek which does not heat up. Opening of 7 mm reduced to 5 by the chimney, which corresponds to a common diameter. The additional top-cap gives you the choice of a drip-tip at your convenience.

Reviewer's comments on conditioning
Very pleasant this packaging, a cardboard box filled with flexible protective foam that prevents the material from being damaged. Inside you will find your ato, a bag of O-rings, a top-cap without drip-tip, resistance terminal screws, a double-head screwdriver, also practical for winding micro-coils, The mode of use and the serial number authenticating the product complete the package. Many manufacturers do not bother to provide you with a quarter, you will agree with me that for a reasonable price, the packaging is up to the task. Just to bitch a little, I would have appreciated a spare tank… .. if you have a mishap with this fragile piece of glass, know that the Vapexperience team has the most efficient and responsive after-sales service.

Reviewer's comments on the use of the product
In operation and when it is correctly mounted, it does not leak, does not heat up (with 0,8 ohm) and provides a lukewarm vape, a consistent vapor and is among the RTA of good quality in terms of restitution of flavors in its category.
Autonomy is perhaps a weak point especially if you decide to opt for the ULR, which I avoided doing by staying at 0,8 for this test. The AF open to the max will also be a little light for fans of air vaping, despite a good distribution of the vents on the plate (keep a good 2 mm above with the coils). I will not risk comparing it to other ato of the same design, it would require strictly analogous conditions of use and a protocol studied accordingly but I consider the Epoch as one of the good ones for a daily vape without pretensions of some “Foggian” performances.

The mood ticket of the reviewer
Let's recap. We have here a rebuildable ato with an easy to refill 2,5ml tank. A drip-top in Peek, certainly proprietary but ensuring a certain comfort of vape, as well as a top-cap in Peek without drip-tip. An AFC designed for a quiet, warm / cold vape, satisfactory in terms of taste. A not very large clear plate that will accept MCs between 0,6 and 2 ohms depending on your choices. An adjustable positive pin (copper), a storage box with a clear user manual and finally, useful accessories and spares.
Without being the best RTA of all time, the Epoch is an ato on which you will be able to rely on the long term, its design is both simple and complex (thanks to the numerous components) but its use remains classic and without surprises, it will be appropriate regular and moderate vaping enthusiasts.
