Back At Flavor Art with a new variation of tobacco with the Dusk. And not Donald Dusk!
The manufacturer claims production without sugar, protein, GMO, diacetyl, preservative, sweetener, coloring, gluten and no more alcohol. Everything revolves around a concentrate of aromas and the base. Simple but it is also the guarantee to avoid most of the controversies or problems related to the presence of questionable molecules.
The Dusk is part of the Classic range, a range dedicated to tobacco composed of a ratio of 50% PG, 40% VG, the rest being divided between aromatic compounds, Milli-Q water and nicotine. This is offered to us in various rates: 0, 4.5, 9 and 18mg / ml.
The current packaging will soon undergo a cosmetic and ergonomic change. However, as it stands today, it looks quite practical. We have a PET bottle that is undoubtedly insufficiently flexible to be really comfortable in filling and a rather original stopper / dropper assembly since the stopper does not separate from the bottle. The tip is thin enough for any type of filling, even if the presence of the stopper may interfere in some cases.
With a price of 5.50 €, we are of course on the entry level. The price corresponds to the core target of the manufacturer: first-time vapers and, by extension, intermediaries not wishing to change their vaping habits.

Comments on the security, legal, health and religious aspects
No problem regarding the legal aspects. We have the necessary warnings, the pictogram indicating danger, that for the visually impaired, the DLUO and a batch number. Of course, from May 2017, we will have to go even further to comply with the TPD and introduce new pictograms as well as the famous mandatory notice but, in the current state of the legislation to date, we are fine!
Child safety is different from that usually used (with locking of the disengageable thread by pressing). It consists of pressing on both sides of the cap to allow it to be unlocked. We can be cautious about the efficiency but it works correctly
The name of the laboratory and a telephone number complete the range to ensure unblemished visibility and transparency. Some information is at the limit of visibility but this is the fate of 10ml bottles overloaded with information.

Comments on the packaging
The packaging is traditional. If we except the stopper / dropper unit, which will no doubt disappear in the next batches, nothing exceptional distinguishes this bottle from the entire production at this level of the range.
The manufacturer's logo covers the label, overlying an illustration relating to the product name, which name appears roughly within the image. Nothing very artistic here but just a simple bottle that is neither exceptional nor unworthy and announces the color of an entry-level liquid.
About color, that of the cap varies depending on the level of nicotine. Green for 0, light blue for 4.5, dark blue for 9, and red for 18.

Comments on the taste of the juice
Not bad, the Dusk is a very blond and round tobacco, totally devoid of aggressiveness.
The sweetness is further accentuated with a pronounced note of very sweet liquorice which coats the palate well and settles in fairly permanently. The finish brings back a very relevant woody note which leaves a nice impression of successful tobacco.
However, between a very round, almost intangible tobacco and a very soft liquorice, we probably miss the character and the Dusk lacks a little, it must be admitted. Certainly, it will appeal to fans of the genre and can satisfy a beginner, but its extreme sweetness prevents a precise expression of the aromas and we can find it a little sickening over a long period.
Between soft and sweetish, the nuance exists and the Dusk oscillates between the two. Although I would have preferred a little more oomph and a clearer definition, the Dusk is far from bad and will be able to find its audience.

Comments and recommendations for an optimal tasting
Easy to live with, the Dusk can be vaped on any atomizer. In view of its relative neutrality, I recommend however to use a pointed clearomizer of the Nautilus X type to saturate its aromas a little. On the other hand, it holds up well in temperature and power and never departs from its extreme softness (and I swear to you that I tried !!!)

My mood ticket on this juice
Make no mistake, we have a good beginner-oriented e-liquid in front of us. And there is nothing infamous about it, quite the contrary.
On the other hand, certain limits are quickly reached and lovers of raw tobacco stripping or marked and sharp flavors will probably not find their way there.
For others, it will offer a nice opportunity to vape liquorice tobacco that holds well and leaves a good taste in the mouth. Nothing fancy or new, but a correct interpretation of a great classic of the genre.
