The Kangertech Dripbox Starter kit is a set-up that includes a mechanical box with a dripper. The advantage of this set is the so-called “bottom feeder” device which includes a reservoir with a capacity of 7ml in the box to mechanically feed the dripper by a pumping system.
This product comes in three colors: white, black or red. Its appearance is sober and the template is compact. It is a low-cost set-up since the set is proposed at less than 40 euros and ready to vaper, until the assembly that is provided with the resistance and the cotton and an additional pre-mounted tray.

About the box, it is made of anodized aluminum, a very soft and slightly shiny coating but which does not mark fingerprints. Its 510 connection is made of stainless steel for better resistance over time with a non-adjustable pin pierced in its center to circulate the liquid to the dripper.
Although the switch is plastic, it is almost completely integrated into the box and responds perfectly to the requests.
The bottle serving as a reservoir is made of flexible plastic, a material well suited to its function, in which a metal rod is immersed to bring the juice to the ato. The system is much more stable than a flexible hose and above all more robust.
Under the box, the choice of the flap to maintain the bottle is certainly convenient but being just maintained by two magnets, there is a risk of losing easily.
On the side of the access to the battery, it is a knurled screw in two parts which closes this opening and also makes contact. Its thread is not always very easy to catch. On the other hand, the second part is well thought out since it also allows the use of nipple batteries thanks to its possibility of adjustment.
On the face opposite that of the switch, a large hole in the shape of the KangerTech logo ensures ventilation of the battery in the event of excessive heating.
The atomizer is made of stainless steel, with a matching coating to the box, to be fully fitting. Its size is average and it decomposes into 4 very simple parts: the base, the removable tray, the tank and the top-cap inseparable from the drip-tip.
The tray is screwed perfectly on its base and leaves a lot of room for a double coil assembly. The two studs have only one hole with a diameter of 1.5mm each to fix the legs.
The airholes are quite tall and very wide, with a size of 12mm x 2mm.
The top-cap is in delrin and inseparable from the drip-tip which has a good internal opening of 12mm of diameter.
Pine, as for the box, is not adjustable and is drilled in the center to allow the passage of liquid from the box to the tray.
A suitable set, which is far from artisanal but good ... for the price, this set-up is of quality quite correct.

Reviewer's comments on functional features
The features of the mod are not infinite but rather exclusive, because the box is mechanical, without the possibility of varying the power.
It has a metal tube over its entire length from its 510 connection, which fits into the 7ml bladder. This set, integrated into the bowels of the beauty, is based on a pressure pumping system which brings the juice up from the bottom of the bottle to the mod pin to arrive on the dripper tray, provided of course that it also has a pine pierced in its center, as is the case in this kit.
The bottom of the bottle is wedged by a magnetic hatch and on the top, a tip serves as a stopper around the metal rod and seals the system.
Battery side, the opening and closing is done by screwing with a notched edge screw, for a better grip, which is in two parts. The second part is screwed and unscrewed, independently of the first, to allow several things: adjust to the size of the battery, ensure locking by unscrewing and block the maintenance of the first part. Indeed, to take out your battery, it is first necessary to loosen this central piece to be able to handle your screw with notched edge.
Extremely rare thing for a mod mecha, you also have the possibility of recharging your battery via the cable micro usb (provided), by the proper port which is located on one of the sides near the switch.
The functions of the atomizer are also very simple since it is a dripper with a removable and interchangeable plate. Two pre-assembled, identical trays are also provided.
The tray is not drilled, only the 510 connection is, because the base has under its tray a small tank which, once filled, brings the liquid up to the tray through the eight holes located around. This system makes it possible to prepare in advance its assembly on the second plate, then to change it simply by screwing and unscrewing but it also makes it possible to assemble the resistors on the studs with extraordinary freedom of movement.
The holes on both studs (1 positive and 1 negative) are wide enough to use a wire with a maximum diameter of 1.2mm or a double wire of 0.5mm. Beyond, the editing remains perilous.
The tank is equipped with two airholes on each side, which are located on the upper part, just below the top cap and their size gives a very airy aspiration. Of course, they are adjustable.
The drip-tip is inseparable from the top-cap which will not allow you to use any other drip tip than the one provided to you. The delrin top-cap allows the heat to be dissipated properly, provided you do not mount too low in resistance.

The packaging is superb. At this price, Kangertech delivers us a rigid cardboard box on two floors with in the foreground the box and the atomizer already mounted with a double resistance AND cotton.

Reviewer's comments on the use of the product
The main function of this set-up is the initiation to bottom feeding. This requires above all for the two products to have a pierced pin for exchanging the flexible fluid in order to supply the wick with juice by simply pressing on the bottle, without the need for an atomizer with reservoir.
For this, you must first fill the bottle. The manipulations are simple. Next, you need to soak your wick and think of flooding the tray to fill the tank below, in the base. This first step is important to create a first priming which will subsequently facilitate the rise of the liquid to the plateau.
The realization of the assembly is done very easily provided to use resistive of a suitable diameter. The tray can be unscrewed to be prepared on a table leaving ample room for installation.
Remember to raise your resistances in order to have them as close as possible to the airholes so that the flavors are better. However, if the resistive value is really too low, you risk feeling the heat of the coils on your lips since the drip-tip still has an internal opening of 12mm.
For the insertion of the battery, the knurled screw in two pieces is very functional but the setting of the thread sometimes requires to be repeated several times. The adjustment for the size of the battery allows on the one hand to use nipple batteries and on the other hand, by unscrewing the central part, to no longer supply the assembly and therefore to inhibit the switch.
The ergonomics are also well adapted, with a limited footprint for a single 18650 battery and a shape with rounded edges which is very pleasant in the hand. The Switch is rather well positioned vertically and on the same side as the atomizer.
A very easy-to-use set-up that is suitable for all vapers who have passed the course of initiation to vaping.

The mood ticket of the reviewer
The KangerTech BF dripbox is a relatively simple set-up that works perfectly well for bottom-feeding. In addition to its good appearance, handling the priming can sometimes be tedious the first time you use it. The fluidity of the liquid will also have an impact because the more viscous your liquid, the less easy the rise of juice will be.
Box and atomizer can also be used independently. Thus, you will have plenty of time to add a new Bottom Feeder dripper to the dripbox or to use your KangerTech dripper on another Bottom Feeder box.
Be aware however that the depth of the 510 connection of the box asked me to unscrew the pin of several of my atomizers.
The double coil assembly is easy to perform on this interchangeable plate with a slight restriction on the single hole of each stud.
A set of correct quality with a very good quality / price ratio which is aimed at apprentice squonkers.
