Comments on the packaging

Plague, ignominy, evil eye. Death prowls with, in its wallet, the cries and tears of families forever destroyed. The misfortune is in the mood of the weather, and in the oxygen which nourishes us. But luckily, Dr. Vintage is here to save us ... Or at least, make people believe it!

Usually, a box accompanies the bottle containing the potion. This box is all dressed in black and white. Thick and multi-layered, it passes the crash test of thrown, felt, rolled from a height of 1 meter.

The glass bottle has a pipette of the same material. The tamper-evident seal is present. The indications of PG / VG also, despite their small size. The rate is 3mg / nicotine. It also exists in 0 and 6mg.

The price places it in the mid-range (19.90 €) and in view of the entourage of the product, it deserves attention.

Comments on the security, legal, health and religious aspects

Let's talk about the things that are noisy, finally, about the thing that's annoying, because for the rest, it passes the regulations without worry. So where did this relief pictogram go for the visually impaired ???

In view of the juxtaposition of the different alerts and notifications, it is surprising not to have found a place for this simple little triangle in relief !!! A major oversight for a company that works with a certain seriousness.

What about: ”I did not press the production line at the right time to add this label, because I was busy watching Martine who was pulling up her silk stockings !!!!!

Vapelier's note regarding packaging with regard to juice category: 5 / 5 5 5 out of stars

Comments on the packaging

Jwell found with this range a visual and a rather particular universe. “Items” from a world that has not had the chance to break into the collective unconscious. Who can remember the doctors (charlatans) of this time in the middle of the XNUMXth century. This practitioner with a long beak stuffed with spices and aromatic herbs made his rounds haphazardly (unfortunately!). He collected coins and functions of the credit which gave him the highest holiness of the time.

The image used is beautiful, and the general idea of this range is very attractive. Having a eye-catching and charming visual isn't enough to make a good liquid. But in a process of researching new flavors for the consumer, the shape can be a point of appeal, and of this range in general, this Dr Vintage in particular, is a good student.

  • Definition of smell: Vanilla, Pastry
  • Definition of taste: Pastry, Vanilla, Light
  • The taste and the name of the product, do they agree ?: Yes

  • This liquid reminds me: The reflection in the mirrors of the range La Parisienne and AllSaints too pronounced.

Vapelier's note on the sensory experience: 4.38/5 4.4 5 out of stars

Comments on the taste of the juice

Gustatively, it is in the standards of Jwell. It is in tune with the very specific sensations that this brand provides. The “patina” that coats most of the manufacturer's recipes is present here.

A light vanilla cream, mixed with very light caramel too, but which manages to be maintained without too much loss. For the moment and over the length, it is this vanilla cream that takes over. There is a notion of gingerbread indeed, but it is not violent. On the scale of values of my hand, I give it 1 1/2 finger. It goes below the caramel which, for its part, comes after the vanilla, so not very energetic as a flavor.

Cinnamon cardamom!?!? Cardamom I don't know, but cinnamon!?!? Why not, if it's written, it must be true ...

Tasting recommendations

  • Recommended power for optimal taste: 17 W
  • Type of steam obtained at this power: Normal (type T2)
  • Type of hit obtained at this power: Light
  • Atomizer used for the review: Igo-l
  • Value of the resistance of the atomizer in question: 1.4
  • Materials used with the atomizer: Kanthal, Cotton, Fiber Freaks

Comments and recommendations for an optimal tasting

With a resistance value of 1.4Ω on a power of 17W, it sticks well to deliver its aromas. Even if some are lighter than others, they manage to maintain the pace and the more your equipment has taken its warm-up laps, the more flavors will be there. Afterwards, he is labeled “Gourmand” so going up towers doesn't scare him. I feel like a predominance of caramel (logical) but which is, all the same, attenuated compared to the “watts / flavors” ration.

Clearly, whether it is “up” or “down”, he behaves in a “nice boy” way when he should be (in my humble opinion), more “ugly guy”.

Hit not too violent, it's 3mg / nicotine, but satisfactory. And a vapor delivery that is average, without too much difficulty.

My mood ticket on this juice

Some liquids from the La Parisienne range and some from the AllSaints range play or could play in the same court. In the first place, they can only be distinguished by their packaging. Some are really twin brothers… but from different fathers (you see the trick and the idea totally improbable).

Some people make me think that the substitution of an aroma makes it possible to make a particular recipe (or even in its own right) thus creating its own universe. But the redundancy at the end of tasting the 2 ranges gives me the impression that only one, with a hyper atypical vision, would have been enough, rather than declining, towards infinity, the 3 major flavors which are described in abundance.

So this Dr Vintage ???? Well, if you like the AllSaints range and by variation La Parisienne, it fits perfectly to the universe dedicated to it so why not in Allday after all. On the other hand, if you are looking to be surprised and want to stay at Jwell, go for the D'light range which, for once, is quite personal and surprising.
