Comments on the packaging

Flavor Art is far from being a newcomer to vaping, the brand having been one of the pioneers in Europe. Without wishing to establish points of comparison, one could even argue that the Italian brand is the equivalent in its country of Alfaliquid in ours.

Very focused on the security of e-liquids, the manufacturer claims a production without sugar, without protein, without GMOs, without diacetyl, nor preservative, nor sweetener, nor coloring, nor gluten and no more alcohol. Everything revolves around a concentrate of aromas and the base. Simple but with the guarantee of avoiding most controversies or problems related to the voluntary or involuntary introduction of questionable molecules.

The Desert Ship is part of the Classic range, a range dedicated to tobacco composed of a ratio of 50% PG, 40% VG, the rest being divided between aromatic compounds, Milli-Q water and nicotine. . This is offered to us in various rates: 0, 4.5, 9 and 18 mg / ml.

The current packaging will soon undergo a cosmetic and ergonomic change. However, as it stands today, it looks quite practical. We have a PET bottle that is undoubtedly insufficiently flexible to be really comfortable in filling and a rather original stopper / dropper assembly since the stopper does not separate from the bottle. The tip is thin enough for any type of filling, even if the presence of the stopper may interfere in some cases.

With a price of 5.50 €, we are of course on the entry level. The price corresponds to the core target of the manufacturer: first-time vapers and, by extension, intermediaries not wishing to change their vaping habits.

Vapelier's note regarding the respect of various conformities (except religious): 4.63 / 5 4.6 5 out of stars

Comments on the security, legal, health and religious aspects

No glaring problem with the legal aspects. We have the necessary warnings, the pictogram indicating danger, that for the visually impaired, the DLUO and a batch number. Of course, from May 2017, we will have to go even further to comply with the TPD and introduce new pictograms as well as the famous mandatory notice but, in the current state of the legislation to date, we are fine!

Child safety is different from that usually used (with locking of the disengageable thread by pressing). It consists of pressing on both sides of the cap to allow it to be unlocked. We can be wary of the effectiveness but I tried with my rather funny 7 year old son to open all the things and it works (under my paternal scrutiny, that goes without saying).

The name of the laboratory and a telephone number complete the range to ensure unblemished visibility and transparency. Some information is at the limit of visibility but it is the game of 10ml bottles overloaded with information.

Appreciation of the packaging

  • Does the graphic design of the label and the product name agree ?: Yes
  • Global correspondence of the packaging with the product name: Yes
  • The packaging effort made is in accordance with the price category: Yes

Vapelier's note regarding packaging with regard to juice category: 5 / 5 5 5 out of stars

Comments on the packaging

The packaging is traditional. If we except the stopper / dropper unit which will probably disappear in the next batches, nothing exceptional distinguishes this bottle from the whole production in this level of the range.

The manufacturer's logo covers the label, overlying an illustration relating to the product name, which name appears roughly within the image. Nothing very artistic here but just a simple bottle that is neither exceptional nor unworthy and announces the color of an entry-level liquid.

About color, that of the cap varies depending on the level of nicotine. Green for 0, light blue for 4.5, dark blue for 9, and red for 18.

Vapelier's note on the sensory experience: 5/5 5 5 out of stars

Comments on the taste of the juice

The Desert Ship is quite typical of oriental tobacco that the Turks call izmir.

Smooth blonde tobacco, sun-dried, naturally sweet, it carries in it a rather light spicy note which gives a precious and perfumed character to the vape. We are on a rather round taste, very balanced, which gives pride to a certain greediness.

Very pleasant to vape, including when you are a vaper experienced in tasting liquids, it is quite naturally essential as a nice allday. The amount of steam is not negligible and the hit is present, without excess.

The recipe works perfectly for an uncomplicated tobacco that will probably appeal more to fans of exotic sweets than brute force.

Comments and recommendations for an optimal tasting

Its fluidity being that of a 50/50, all the evaporation devices are open to it. From the tight clearomiser to a flavor dripper or an RBA. He accepts without flinching to be a little abused by the power and facing the heat does not frighten him.

It will however be declared unfit for a cloud-chasing competition, as you can imagine, but that is not its point.

My mood ticket on this juice

Initially devolved to a beginner population in the vape, the Desert Ship could also convince confirmed vapers fans of sweet and silky tobacco.

Its taste is pleasant and sweet and the little spicy twist makes it even more exotic. Its roundness could be a brake for thrill seekers but it will find its audience among those who like a little particular tobacco, honey and sensual.

The “desert vessel” is therefore aptly named, both in the evocation of its model that can be seen in analog cigarettes and in the images generated of endless expanses of sand and oriental scents. .
