Comments on the packaging

Le French Liquide, a large French manufacturer that I particularly appreciate, is releasing a mini range developed in collaboration with Chris Vaps, the reviewer. It is a little fashionable at the moment that the well-known heads of the PAV (Audiovisual Landscape of the Vape) mingle with the juice makers to release products in their name. This is also the case with Seb and the Vaps with Liquideo or David Nukevapes with Fuel. After all, it doesn't seem foolish that a reviewer, testing a lot of liquids, can take advantage of this experience and share the fruits of his thoughts for the creation of new nectars.

There were therefore two offspring of this union and today we are testing the “Death Pixie”, that is to say the elf of death in old French, whose packaging does justice to French vaping. Nice bottle, good capacity, very low price and downright a 3D dictionary of all the necessary information on an e-liquid. Le French Liquide hits the nail on the head by even indicating that the propylene glycol used is of vegetable origin, that the vegetable glycerin comes from rapeseed and that both are eco-certified without GMOs. Difficult to be more informative. It is a must!

Comments on the security, legal, health and religious aspects

It seems difficult to do better in this chapter. It's 100% perfect, with the added bonus of a DLUO. The manufacturer seems to have raised the bar to safety perfection yet again. I can only applaud, in these difficult moments for the vape, seeing the magnificent work that the actors of the French juice deliver to be up to the next challenges to perpetuate our common passion.

Appreciation of the packaging

  • Does the graphic design of the label and the product name agree ?: Yes
  • Global correspondence of the packaging with the product name: Yes
  • The packaging effort made is in accordance with the price category: Yes

Comments on the packaging

I love it! The label depicting death playing a piece of flute on a bone instrument, I find that kiffant. It reminds me of the old metal albums I used to listen to (yeah, okay, I'm still listening, so what? 😈) although the name of the juice reminds me more of the title of a Pixies album : “Death to the Pixies”. But I don't care, I still listen to him too 😈 !!!! So, a packaging to match, very well illustrated, my compliments to the designer, and which opens up a really nice graphic universe. Nothing to say about the bottle even if I would have preferred a UV filtering bottle but, given the minimum price, I already consider myself very happy to have a glass packaging.

Sensory appreciations

  • Color and product name agree ?: Yes
  • Do the smell and the name of the product agree ?: Yes
  • Definition of odor: Fruity, Sweet
  • Definition of taste: Fruit
  • The taste and the name of the product, do they agree ?: Yes
  • Did I like this juice ?: I won't splurge on it
  • This liquid reminds me of: a lot of juice from the same barrel

Vapelier's note on the sensory experience: 4.38/5 4.4 5 out of stars

Comments on the taste of the juice

Its good ! The mixture of peach and mango is known to work well and again it works very well.

The peach is rather white and goes wonderfully with a not too ripe mango which has retained its slightly green and herbal appearance. The whole is very homogeneous, sweet enough to be addicting and not enough to be disgusting.

A nice recipe that nicely texturizes the presence of the massoia which is more there to give a creamy aspect to the mixture than a particular flavor even if, by searching very well, we find the slightly milky taste of this substance.

So we have a good e-liquid, well done. The only downside is that it is not really a taste novelty but given the price, the quality and the precision of the aromas and the rather flattering length in the mouth, we understand that the designers did not give a damn about we. Simple but well done.

Tasting recommendations

  • Recommended power for optimal taste: 20 W
  • Type of vapor obtained at this power: Dense
  • Hit type obtained at this power: Strong
  • Atomizer used for the review: Igo-L, Expromizer V2.0
  • Value of the resistance of the atomizer in question: 1
  • Materials used with the atomizer: Kantal, Cotton

Comments and recommendations for an optimal tasting

Like any fruit, it is served rather lukewarm / cold so as not to distort the flavors. At moderate power on a good specific atomizer, it is perfect. By increasing in power, we exacerbate the tangy aspects of the fruits and we lose some roundness. The hit is noticeable, certainly driven by the presence of PG of plant origin and the vapor is very dense.

Recommended Moments

  • Recommended times of the day: Morning, Morning - chocolate breakfast, All afternoon during everyone's activities, End of the evening with or without herbal tea
  • Can this juice be recommended as an All Day Vape: No

Overall average (excluding packaging) of the Vapelier for this juice: 4.37 / 5 4.4 5 out of stars

My mood ticket on this juice

The Death Pixie is a good introduction to enter the fruity universe of Chris Vaps. Exotic at will, he knows how to communicate an interesting creamy aspect to the two fruits he offers us and which stand out.

We can certainly criticize having made the easy choice of a union deemed to work perfectly but the presence of massoia still gives a particular texture, as if we were facing a 100% VG, which is interesting. And if we add to that the modesty of the price and the quality of the packaging, we obtain a juice which has its place in the juice cellar of fruit lovers.

Well, I go back to listen to “Where Is My Mind” while finishing my tank, me…
