Comments on the packaging

Flavor Art is far from being a newcomer to vaping, the brand having been one of the pioneers in Europe.

Very focused on the security of e-liquids, the brand claims a production without protein, GMO, diacetyl, preservative, sweetener, coloring, gluten and no more alcohol. Everything revolves around a concentrate of aromas and the base. Simple but with the guarantee of avoiding most controversies or problems related to the voluntary or involuntary introduction of questionable molecules.

The Dark Vapure is part of the Classic range, a range dedicated to tobacco composed of a ratio of 50% PG, 40% VG, the rest being divided between aromatic compounds, Milli-Q water and nicotine . This is offered to us in various rates: 0, 4.5, 9 and 18mg / ml.

The current packaging will soon undergo a cosmetic and ergonomic change. However, as it is today, it looks quite practical. We have a PET bottle that is undoubtedly insufficiently flexible to be really comfortable with complex filling and a rather original cap / dropper tandem since the cap does not separate from the bottle. The tip is thin enough for any type of filling, even if the presence of the stopper may interfere in some cases.

With a price of 5.50 €, we are of course on the entry level. The price corresponds to the core target of the manufacturer: first-time vapers and, by extension, intermediaries not wishing to change their vaping habits.

Comments on the security, legal, health and religious aspects

No glaring problem with the legal aspects. We have the necessary warnings, the pictogram indicating danger, that for the visually impaired, the DLUO and a batch number. Of course, from 2017, it will be necessary to go even further to comply with the TPD and introduce new pictograms as well as the famous mandatory notice but, in the current state of the legislation to date, we are fine!

Child safety is different from that usually used (with locking of the disengageable thread by pressing). It consists of pressing on both sides of the cap to allow it to be unlocked. We can be wary of the effectiveness but I tried with my rather funny 7 year old son to open all the things and it works (under my paternal scrutiny, that goes without saying).

The name of the laboratory and a telephone number complete the range to ensure unblemished visibility and transparency. Some information is at the limit of visibility but it is the game of 10ml bottles overloaded with information.

Appreciation of the packaging

  • Does the graphic design of the label and the product name agree ?: Yes
  • Global correspondence of the packaging with the product name: Yes
  • The packaging effort made is in accordance with the price category: Yes

Comments on the packaging

The packaging is traditional. If we except the stopper / dropper unit which will probably disappear in the next batches, nothing exceptional distinguishes this bottle from the whole production in this level of the range.

The manufacturer's logo covers the label, overlying an illustration relating to the product name, which name appears roughly within the image. Nothing very artistic here but just a simple bottle that is neither exceptional nor unworthy and announces the color of an entry-level liquid.

About color, that of the cap varies depending on the level of nicotine. Green for 0, light blue for 4.5, dark blue for 9, and red for 18.

Sensory appreciations

  • Color and product name agree ?: Yes
  • Do the smell and the name of the product agree ?: Yes
  • Definition of odor: Woody, Brown Tobacco
  • Definition of taste: Sweet, Herbal, Chocolate, Tobacco
  • The taste and the name of the product, do they agree ?: Yes
  • Did I like this juice ?: Yes
  • This liquid reminds me: Nothing special

Comments on the taste of the juice

The Dark Vapor is good in the genetics of the range.

Indeed, we find the two aspects that Flavor Art seems to have given to all of its tobacco references: softness and an undeniable sweetness. Moreover, I ask myself the question, ultimately, whether this sweet taste which inevitably returns is not due to a specificity of the vegetable glycerin used because, as there is no sweetener in these liquids , I don't see how a full set of raw tobacco flavors could be sweet like this.

That said, that's okay because this aspect doesn't interfere with the rather seductive taste of Dark Vapure.

We have here a dark tobacco whose origin I will be hard pressed to specify. It's quite deep and round, tasty and believable. The manufacturer has introduced light notes of licorice, another constant in the range as this aroma is widely used, which reinforces the adventurous spirit of the brown. There are also light aromas of sweet cocoa which sometimes, during the exhalation, are felt and further accentuate the pleasure felt.

Everything cohabits in good intelligence and the recipe plays on the edge of the razor to cause a rather dark feeling of fullness that will delight fans of gourmet tobacco because our Dark Vapor flirts with this category without false modesty.

A pleasant moment that goes wonderfully with a coffee and whose slightly greedy dimension could generate a potential allday.

Comments and recommendations for an optimal tasting

The Dark Vapure is comfortable everywhere and all the time. From a beginner-oriented clearomiser to a good dripper, it establishes its flavors consistently, whatever the power and the temperature, even if a little heat makes it more comfortable.

Like the other liquids in the range, it is not stingy in vapor, it is even surprising for a “simple” 40% vegetable glycerin. The hit is quite deep, typical of dark tobacco but remains devoid of aggressiveness, at least in this rather low nicotine level.

My mood ticket on this juice

Another good surprise in this range.

The Dark Vapure will not convince the diehards of Nicot weed because its gourmet sophistication keeps it away from absolute purism. On the other hand, it will pleasantly accompany novice ex-smokers of brunettes by introducing a more fragrant aspect to their vape.

Devoid of bitterness, dark and deep, this e-liquid is a successful attempt to harmonize two vaping worlds, that of tobacco and that of a certain gourmet originality and will give a very pleasant, sweet moment without being sweetish and concealing surprises interesting taste.

A real good number!
