Comments on the packaging

Rope Cut liquids come from Canada. This range of premium liquids is presented in clear glass bottles of 30ml, equipped with glass pipettes. Proposed in 0, 3, 6, 12mg / ml of nicotine, the juice displays a ratio of 30 / 70.

All this seems for the moment very classic, but Rope Cut takes its name from the pipe tobacco used by the sailors. This coarse-cut tobacco took the form of a rope, so that a puck was cut off and stuffed into its pipe. Quickly packed, this tobacco was not likely to be the first trunk trunk.

Rope Cult offers us a range that revolves around the flavors of pipe tobacco. Pipe tobacco but not that, because each recipe combines tobacco with more gourmet flavors.

Today, it is at dusk that we set sail, because the Dark Thirty is a term which translates the twilight, a cruise between sun and moon for a liquid which seems darker.

Comments on the packaging

Rope Cut has built a nice logo. A skull wearing a captain's cap. A large beard and a pipe complete the portrait of our ghost captain. A thin rope surrounds this facies of beyond the grave to remind our thread: the pipe tobacco cut to the rope.

We borrow both from the imagery of piracy but also from that of the more contemporary navy.

Under this iconic illustration, the name Rope Cut is written in the style of a signature. All vials share this visual, a vertical band is the name of the juice and the ratio PG / VG.

So it is not to fall backwards, but it is a presentation that marks the imagination well, we quickly remember and we do not forget, Rope Cut has created a good visual identity. It is fairly consistent with the price level, so 5/5.

Vapelier's note on the sensory experience: 3.75/5 3.8 5 out of stars

Comments on the taste of the juice

Our twilight liquid offers us a rich blend of plum and dried fruit and a lichette of rum to accompany our aromatic pipe tobacco.

It is indeed a mixture that I would describe as darker, in the deep sense of the term. This liquid has a “thick” and complex flavor, it is difficult to apprehend.

It is difficult at the beginning to say: I like or I don't like? It's weird, no way to say anything. Again, at the time of this writing, I still don't know. I vape it, on my Griffin, and I'm still hesitating ...

Tasting recommendations

  • Recommended power for optimal taste: 20 W
  • Type of steam obtained at this power: Thick
  • Hit type obtained at this power: Medium
  • Atomizer used for the review: Kaifun 4, Griffin

  • Materials used with the atomizer: Kanthal, Fiber Freacks Cotton Blend

Comments and recommendations for an optimal tasting

Still with atomizers mounted with Fiber Freacks Cotton Blend, the juice behaves well from 20 to 40W. Two slightly different sensations, but both interesting, even if I still do not have my answer: I like or I don't like… Pfffffffff!

Recommended Moments

  • Recommended times of day: Aperitif, Late lunch / dinner with a coffee, End of lunch / dinner with a digestive, Early evening to relax with a drink, Late night with or without herbal tea, The night for insomniacs
  • Can this juice be recommended as an All Day Vape: No

Overall average (excluding packaging) of the Vapelier for this juice: 4.16 / 5 4.2 5 out of stars

My mood ticket on this juice

Plum, dried fruit, rum and tobacco, this really gives a strange juice to enjoy.

Aware that this juice will not appeal to the greatest number because it is too distinctive, I still think that it is worth the detour. I still can't say if I like it or not, what is certain is that it is very interesting.

Heavy in a way but its complexity lightens it and, suddenly, we navigate between greedy and a little disgusting.

In fact, the lack of sugar hardens the tobacco a little, it is less round, the rum accentuating the “hard” character. It's darker but the assembly is visibly skillful. This juice is undoubtedly a little outside the norm, which makes the complexity to be pronounced. One thing is certain, it is not the juice of a day, it is a juice of a few hours, we need to go back to a more traditional juice to be able to come back better.

I will try to say:

If you are curious and the juices with a certain character tempt you then please yourself. For those who, like me, like the greedy tobacco, make a stop. I'm not saying that you are going to settle there, but it may be an interesting taste break.

Good vape
