The Dark Story range from the famous Alfalquid welcomes new flavors at the start of 2016 and I have the pleasure of testing them for you.
These liquids are presented in 20 ml dark glass bottles. They are of course equipped with a glass pipette. Available in 0, 3, 6, 11, 16 mg in nicotine dosage, they have a PG / VG ratio of 50/50, which makes them suitable for a large number of vapers.
Today, it's a close-up on Coffee Rock. Needless to say, it's the dominant note in this juice, it's found in the name. But beware, this liquid is a little more than just coffee but I won't tell you everything right away… 😛

In the Dark Story range, each juice has its own festive dress.
Coffee Rock is hip retro. A light beige background label, with a huge open mouth that lets out musical notes and coffee beans in all directions. All this little world adopts a “faded” brown color.
It's pretty, it would fit perfectly in the decor of a café-concert. I like the seventies rock spirit (for me one of the best periods musically) that emerges from this illustration. We see all the know-how and the aesthetic spirit of this great name in French vaping.

Comments on the taste of the juice
The program : "a hymn to coffee, with body and richness, but with controlled bitterness thanks to notes of hazelnut, chocolate and vanilla ..."
A rock'n'roll of sensations ... that's what Alfaliquid offers us. I can not say things better as this description seems fair to me.
At first, if you are greedy like I am, the milk chocolate and the hazelnut make their law on the first two puffs and it's magic. But, very quickly, everyone finds their place, the cafe as a charismatic leader arises on the front of the stage Aromatic and temperamental, it dominates the rest of the group. Its bitterness does not have time to set in because the hazelnut and chocolate soften and delicately sweeten this rock coffee.
Vanilla and a little more discreet but it finishes the puff. All this without ever erasing the dominant star. It's so good, I love it! There is no wrong note, the control is complete and the atmosphere in tune.

My mood ticket on this juice
I think there is no doubt for whoever has read the whole article: I love this liquid.
You might think that coffee, combined with chocolate, hazelnut and vanilla, is a recipe that smells of warmth. But, as the group which composes this piece, has perfectly balanced everything, we are entitled to a very new sensation. The coffee lets its character speak, we can guess its bitterness, but it never imposes itself. The other members of the group act in harmony to prevent the leader from giving himself all the attention. It's great so I give it a top juice because it's been a long time since a coffee-based juice had pleased me so much.
So I don't want to make it an allday, but some kawa aficionados probably will. I reserve for him Sunday mornings or cocooning evenings. It's not very rock but for me it's the best times to appreciate it. At worst, a little Led Zep in the background and the rock will be there to make the sensation complete.
