Cloupor confirms its presence in the niche of mods-box small format and moderate power, by offering the V2 of its mini 30W. Some problems with the previous version led the Chinese manufacturer to make notable improvements. The object is beautiful, aesthetically uncluttered, the emphasis has been placed on the quality of the components and careful packaging. Accessories as well as a VIP card accompany this model, the competition has to worry as the price of this little wonder is itself very modest.

The complete measurements are: length 77 (77,3 including the protruding part of the connector) width 37,7 (buttons included) and 22mm thick for a weight with the battery of + or - 165g. The shell and the cover are made of 15 / 10th mm thick aluminum. The decoration is in fact limited to the facade with the name of the manufacturer and the word "mini", smaller, both engraved in the mass. The cover is distinguished by 7 series of circular punches (diameter 1mm) aligned along the length to the number of 15. The upper part which receives the atomizer is engraved in a cross (2 lines of 2mm wide and 0,3 deep) passing through the center of the brass 510 connector.
The latter protrudes 0,3 mm from the top-cap and takes up the air intake lines “from below” (this is not the case in the photo but in reality it is!). At the rear are a mini USB connector as well as a single circular degassing vent (2,5mm in diameter) directly above the negative pole of the battery.
The side opposite the screen is engraved with 4 close, centered lines which run the length of the box. The general exterior appearance is neat, the angles are rounded for a pleasant grip. A finely anodized, satin and probably “glossy” finish gives the object a sober yet elegant visual appearance.
The side of the settings, screen, and “fire” button is just as successful because of the proportions and placement of active elements. The adjustment knobs are 5 mm in diameter, they are made of metal. A function acquisition screen recalls the keys of PC keyboards. The “fire” button (6mm in diameter) is made of the same metal and is located alone on the other side of the screen. These 3 moving parts are finely streaked with concentric circles giving them a noticeable “grip” effect to the touch.
So far it's flawless, the interior is similar in style, I will come back to this later. I really have the impression of having in hand a device of very good quality, well studied, with perfect ergonomics, heavy (in a good sense). I really can't wait to stick a battery and an ato to him, I hope, to continue to be ecstatic and put the drip-tip in your mouth ...

For this V2 Cloupor has rectified the software settings of the chipset programs and made beneficial changes such as internal overheating protection by thermal sensor. Here are all the technical characteristics:

The Cloupor mini warns you with alert messages when:

- Without pressing any of the buttons for 2 minutes, the system automatically goes to sleep, the screen turns off, pressing any button turns it back on and the box becomes functional again.
It all looks very nice on paper at least, I nevertheless checked that the proposed features are operational and it is the case. The first impression is therefore confirmed for the moment. The interior is clean, the battery housing has a ribbon to facilitate its extraction. The electronics are protected by a plastic cover which can be removed (it is “sealed” with a sticker which will cut when opening and will void the manufacturer's warranty, so be careful not to touch it). The cover is guided by 2 side slides, for its maintenance and 2 neodymium magnets ensure the closed position. It can be opened with one hand with a pressure of the thumb and a downward movement, very practical.

Reviewer's comments on conditioning
Before the vape tests, (that's why you're reading this review anyway), let's take a moment to look at the packaging.
The cardboard box (126 X 94 X 45 mm) effectively protects the equipment, the lid is lined with a flexible foam. Inside, in addition to the box, we find, housed in a rigid foam that prevents the elements from wandering around:
- A retractable USB / mini USB cable,
- A blue screwdriver (setting the positive pin of the 510 connector)
- A small resealable plastic box containing 4 magnets and 3 screws (positive pins) spare.
A photo details the operation of installing the 18650 battery and the recommendation for use (flat-top batteries without “nipple”).
The manual although in English is complete, a diagram describes the functional parts.
You are now a Cloupor customer and as such you hold a VIP card. The latter provides you with after-sales service from the manufacturer as well as a 3-month warranty validation (after purchase). Reviewer's comments on the use of the product
To say that this set can fit into clothing pockets without discomfort or distortion is a bit of an exaggeration, each of you will experience and judge for your own ease. In operation I found the buttons firm and this notch at the pressure is pleasant. The sound and feel are comparable to a good PC keyboard, unobtrusive.
My Origen V3 at 0,69 ohm (precision to the hundredth is a bit annoying for those who like round accounts), screwed, I pulse…. A small latency betrays the software activity of regulation calculations before providing the requested energy: 4,01V to 23W. The vape is smooth, comparable to the mecha whose characteristics I reproduced in this resistance configuration. The autonomy of the battery is less than in mecha, the electronics require for its operation a not insignificant consumption which I estimate at 20% of the potential of the battery (20% less autonomy compared to a mecha ). This observation is not depreciating, it corresponds to the difference between a sophisticated, electronic mod, and a simple energy transmitter tube, an effective difference but all in all normal.
The cut announced at 3,2V may be because of the requested power setting: 23W, was carried out at 3,45V with the box tested. The whole heats very moderately even at 30W, and only the upper part is concerned. Note that the regulation starts at 7 W and not below. The chipset present is a DNA 30 not “upgradable” (you will not be able to boost it to 40 W but we are in the presence of the last software version of DNA 30).
The adjustable brass 510 connector (known to be fragile) will be the object of your attention by meticulous cleaning and moderate screwing operations in terms of ato blocking.
I will now reveal to you the only negative points that I noticed and which, I warn you in advance, do not constitute major drawbacks on the model that I was entrusted with:
With a 22 mm ato, the set has an aesthetic defect, indeed, the ato will protrude by one mm on the screen / buttons side as shown in the photo.
The cover tends to move slightly laterally during the various grips, this is noticeable because it is audible and it is perhaps also due to the precise model that I am testing, the play is not huge (a few tenths of a mm ) and does not influence the general behavior of the bonnet.
No sealing of the removable part (cover) it will therefore be necessary to pay attention to any liquid leaks which could enter through the space between the body and the cover in the housing of the electronic part of the box, (or even in the cradle battery but these are not the same consequences).
Charging by mini USB (which I never use, on any electronics equipped with this system, with the exception of an Itaste MVP whose integrated battery does not allow me any other alternative) is located under the "bottom -cap ”of the mini, so you can only charge it lying down, which is problematic with a mounted dripper or genesis.
You will notice that these few inconveniences cannot discredit this box which also works perfectly, it is true that I have only used it for 4 days and that I am not able to inform you about the longevity of its performance. As a general rule, and this also applies to this mod, if you can, prefer a dedicated charger, to recharging via USB for your batteries.

The mood ticket of the reviewer
As much as the V1 has been controversial, this V2 is a (almost) perfect example of the responsiveness of Chinese designers in a sector where competition is tough.
This mini box is a good product, a very good product considering its price. Its format is simply perfect for all handcuffs (Ladies I am thinking of yours). The battery change is designed for simplicity and efficiency. The supplied accessories are all useful up to the personal laminated after-sales service card. A smooth vape and near-perfect performance make it the most serious competitor of its sisters in the maximum power range offered. It will suit fans of discretion and elegance, for a conventional vape that does not seek the prowess of cloud-chasers and other power-vapors.
The few minimal aesthetic or conceptual drawbacks do not affect the overall quality of this object, perhaps they will be corrected for the next edition.
Do not deprive yourself, it also exists in black (and recently in “gold”), and do not hesitate to give us your impressions and comments.
