Kangertech is one of the very active brands on the market. In the field that interests us today, clearomizers, Kangertech has always shone and has always been one of the innovative brands. We remember the generalization of bottom coils thanks to eVod and Protank in particular.
Still in the entry-level product, the CL tank is a sub-ohm, TPD ready clearomizer.
It is reminiscent of the Cubis from Joyetech, from which it adopts several identical systems and a similar price. So let's see this CL and in conclusion, we will compare the two products.

Reviewer's comments on physical characteristics and perceived quality
A clearomizer that adopts a rather classic design, only the viewing window on the tank brings an original touch by following the shapes of the Kangertech logo.
In metal and pyrex, of a compact size, the capacity of 2 ml brings the first point of compatibility with the PDT.
It uses the system developed by Joyetech, namely this anti-leak system with very easy top filling. The CL also adopts child safety, which Joyetech had also adopted for the AIO.
The resistance is integral with the chimney, the airflow is taken from the top of the ato, like the Cubis and of course, it is adjustable.
The quality of manufacture is in line with the range in which the CL evolves.
On this point quality, no bad surprise, it looks a lot like a Cubis on the premise. But, for once, I find that the Cubis returns a more flattering impression at the qualitative level. Similarly, the Cubis is according to my taste, more beautiful and more elegant.

Reviewer's comments on functional features
To start, the CL is filled from the top, after having unscrewed the top-cap which is equipped with a child safety. You will free the tank over its entire diameter since the resistance, the chimney and the top-cap are assembled together, as on the Cubis, and as with it, you will have to fill the tank up to the level marked by a max lair.
The air flow management is, still as on the Cubis, adjustable from a ring included in the top-cap.
The CLOCC resistors are quite impressive, and obviously, you will find some compatible with the temperature control or traditional ones in kanthal.
That is really all there is to say. It is a simple clearomizer and, if you have followed this far, this atomizer looks a lot like the Cubis in its operation. It's simple and one of the anti-leak promises is kept, but one would have suspected it in view of the technical solutions adopted and already tested by the competition.

Kangertech had accustomed us to better. A flexible cardboard box that adopts the usual visual codes of Kanger products. The atomizer and the second coil are nested in a thin and black plastic of medium quality.

For once, it's low cost and once again, compared to the Cubis, it's below. Definitely, for the moment, if the two products are close, Joyetech is doing better in terms of perceived feelings.

Reviewer's comments on the use of the product
The CL is compact and therefore ideal for mobile use. Very easy to understand, even a beginner will feel comfortable with it, especially since we have the instructions in French.
The 2ml of the tank is a little fair considering the consumption, so you will fill often and thus you will have the pleasure of struggling nicely with the protection system for children, useful and effective, but which, I find, is a little capricious on re-screwing. The only real precaution to take is not to exceed the maximum filling level, otherwise there will be overflow.
Resistances work well, and the restoration of flavors is very correct.
The main strength of the CL Tank compared to its rival is the airflow. It offers a larger range and allows power-vaping without problem.
A practical product, simple and effective, on this part the two protagonists of the sector are equal.

The mood ticket of the reviewer
The Kangertech CL Tank is a good clearomizer, compact, efficient and simple by adapting the same technical solutions as the Cubis, it is also leak-proof. So he has everything you need.
If we compare it to the Cubis, and it is difficult to do otherwise as the two products are close, I would say a draw. The quality and design at the Cubis, the airflow and the non “glougloutage” (which happens when filling on the Cubis) at the CL.
So why is the Kanger's rating lower?
I find that the presentation and the perceived quality are really very average and the design of the Cubis more neat. For an equivalent price for the two protagonists of my comparison, I am obliged to sanction these small deviations. In addition, the CL comes after the Cubis and uses many of the solutions offered by the latter.
In conclusion, the Cubis for the style and the perceived quality, the CL for the airflow and both for the quality of vape offered.
