Comments on the packaging

The bottle I have in my hands seems to be a repackaging from the shop seller to bring the product up to standard because the photos that I was able to glean on the internet on the original packaging all show a wider and less high glass bottle, equipped a wide plastic cap without child safety and without a pipette.

But being able to judge only with what I have in front of me, I content myself with describing the conditioning that I possess.

Comments on the security, legal, health and religious aspects

I have never seen anything as opaque as this bottle ... There are many inscriptions on the original label but, even with a magnifying glass, they are illegible and as I do not yet have a microscope, it means It's hard to explain to you what the gibberish consists of… It would have written “shit whoever reads it”, I wouldn't even have realized it! There is also an interesting bar code in that it achieves the feat of being as unreadable as the accompanying text.

The label on the back, added by the distributor is more explicit because it mentions the basic safety instructions but we remain in an artistic vagueness on the proportions PG / VG, absent, as well as on elements clearly present such as the green dye ( mixture of dyes E102 and E131), very “Pluidian” which would make the Hulk pass for an achromatic jellyfish…

Too bad the ingredients are not more detailed, for the information of the consumer.

Appreciation of the packaging

  • Does the graphic design of the label and the product name agree ?: Yes
  • Global correspondence of the packaging with the product name: Bof
  • The packaging effort made is in accordance with the price category: No

Comments on the packaging

Since this is clearly a product repackaged by the distributor (which, apparently, is no longer, moreover), the packaging remains average but the label is quite attractive by its design.

If the goal was to be enigmatic, the brand has succeeded perfectly. She even succeeded beyond all hope since she did not even mention her own name!

Such a mystery would require the intervention of Sherlock Holmes but I have misplaced his phone number so I will stick to what I see and what I do not see ...

  • This liquid reminds me:
Nothing. A little Snake Oil, a little Pluid, a little Redbull. A little bit of everything….

Comments on the taste of the juice

The smell is already strongly engaging with its lemony and confectionery aspect that makes you want and tempt the taste buds.

At the tasting, no disappointment. Sweet but not sickening. Light but complex, this juice keeps all of its promises and remains a mystery with its slightly bitter finish reminiscent of a grapefruit. Fans of exoticism will appreciate the length in the mouth, very pleasant in its sweet-bitter mixture as well as its very nice sparkling side. The recipe is completely successful. We love it or hate it, which is characteristic of great liquids after all, but we can only appreciate the taste quality of a special and surprising juice.

Information taken, this juice would be the fruit of a partnership between an American shop: Grand Vapor and a nose: Luis Monsante which would have given birth to the Loui-e-juice range. And the Cateye would be inspired by Baja Blast, a typical American energy soda. Having never tasted this beverage, I take these clues at face value.

Comments and recommendations for an optimal tasting

Due to the fruity and astringent aspect of the liquid, I would gladly recommend it with an evaporator device which makes the temperature low so as not to denature the freshness of the flavor.
WARNING: I suppose that this liquid, like other potions, is liable to damage plastic tanks. I therefore advise to vape it in a pyrex or metal tank to avoid disappointments.

Recommended Moments

  • Can this juice be recommended as an All Day Vape: No

Overall average of the Vapelier for this juice: 3.13 / 5 3.1 5 out of stars

My mood ticket on this juice

Good, refreshing and amazing. These are qualifiers worthy of a good juice. Of course, it will not be unanimous and it is rather a positive point if you think about it carefully.

The negative points are legion: opaque composition, obvious presence of a food coloring *, total illegibility of the original information, absence of the name of the brand (that's a shame!) We are indeed in the presence of a worthy mystery black thrillers from the golden age of American cinema. Hoping that the victim is not the consumer.

The mystery thickens moreover when one seeks to obtain this liquid. There, it's a treasure hunt unlike any other: obligation to go through Facebook directly to the manufacturer since the French distributor took over (we can understand!), Waiting time with variable geometry ... and this will be the subject of my mini rant tonight:

What is the point of developing a range of liquid and not having it distributed by shops? Because, apart from organizing the frustration of vapers and possibly speculating on the scarcity to increase prices, I do not see…. Apart from transforming what should be a pleasure purchase into a real obstacle course, the purpose of the method baffles me. So, maybe the creator does not have the necessary capital to invest in its development? Maybe he wants to master the production line by himself from A to Z ??? But, to tell the truth, I don't really care because all this is of no interest to the consumer who imagines, in his candor logic, that he will be able to easily find this liquid if he please without having to go through a quasi-conspiratorial network to get his juice.

Too much opacity, too much effort to do, too much time wasted…. It's a shame because Cateye remains a good liquid, original and sparkling, which would appeal to customers fond of this category of e-liquids if it were simply …………… available!

*: The presence of food coloring is questionable on the safety of a product intended to be inhaled. As I speak, there are very real suspicions about the dangerousness of this type of additive. In addition, since a dye does not generate a particular taste or texture, the question of its presence in an e-liquid can be asked.
