Comments on the packaging

Evaluating a Flavor Power juice is like eager to get home, have a good movie, from the comfort of your cozy sofa.
There is nothing pejorative or derogatory in this parable, but the certainty of not being disappointed, the habit of testing the many variations of the brand put you in an indisputable comfort zone.

Caramel, a pretext for today's evaluation, is a potion in the 50/50 range.

Packaged in a 10 ml vial, the recipe is mounted on a base - you understood it - made up of 50% vegetable glycerin. The nicotine levels range from: 3, 6 & 12 nicotine without omitting the one devoid of the addictive substance.

Competitive in terms of resale prices, the Auvergne brand sees its products exchanged for a price varying from € 4,90 to € 5,90 depending on the shops, physical or online.

Comments on the security, legal, health and religious aspects

If this is not a score weighted by the presence of distilled water penalized by our protocol notwithstanding proven harmlessness, the chapter is fully informed. From the start, the brand has been one of the spearheads of “our” vaping industry and the security subject has always been treated with seriousness and respect for the consovapoteur.

Appreciation of the packaging

  • Does the graphic design of the label and the product name agree ?: Yes
  • Global correspondence of the packaging with the product name: Yes
  • The packaging effort made is in accordance with the price category: Yes

Comments on the packaging

I will not expand on the subject, knowing that the brand has just changed its visuals and its packaging. As long as everything is in place, we will have another opportunity to assess it.

Nevertheless, without revealing the content of this new look, I can assure you that we are not unsettled. The identity is not turned upside down and it is more of a refresh than a new visual concept.

Vapelier's note on the sensory experience: 4.5/5 4.6 5 out of stars

Comments on the taste of the juice

At the first puff, my senses of smell and taste meet: it is not a soft caramel nor a salted butter caramel. it's more of grandma's real good caramel, lovingly prepared in this old, aged copper saucepan. Suddenly, to paraphrase Audiard: ”it's brutal!”. Not for the fault of too much aromatic power because precisely this one is rather moderate. But more by the taste option taken by the flavorists which could annoy the palates accustomed to the sweet caramel which exists only in aromatic and not in real life.

The Caramel is therefore natural, a little raw, not very sweet and reminds us of childhood moments with this slight harshness of cooking. Without artifice and without sweetening, he draws a picture in a realistic way, far removed from the abstract temptations of fatty, syrupy and creamy caramels usually steamed.

The hit and the volume of vapor are consistent with the displayed values, the potion can be considered as an allday vape.

Tasting recommendations

  • Recommended power for optimal taste: 25 W
  • Type of vapor obtained at this power: Dense
  • Hit type obtained at this power: Medium
  • Atomizer used for the review: Dripper Zénith, Melo 4 & PockeX
  • Value of the resistance of the atomizer in question: 0.5Ω
  • Materials used with the atomizer: Kanthal, Stainless steel, Cotton

Comments and recommendations for an optimal tasting

Because of its “raw formwork” side, a clearomiser will be more able to exalt the flavors of this uncompromising caramel. A dripper will give it a stiffer appearance while its softness is still very real. To vape lukewarm, on a good sweet coffee.

Recommended Moments

  • Recommended times of the day: Morning, End of lunch / dinner with a coffee, End of lunch / dinner with a digestif, All afternoon during everyone's activities, Early evening to relax with a drink, End evening with or without herbal tea, Night for insomniacs
  • Can this juice be recommended as an All Day Vape: Yes

Overall average (excluding packaging) of the Vapelier for this juice: 4.50 / 5 4.5 5 out of stars

My mood ticket on this juice

I admit to having been somewhat unsettled by the proposal of Flavor Power with Caramel. Not that the juice is not good, on the contrary. But because the “madeleine de Proust” effect sends us back to vague nostalgia.

While it will delight fans of “direct” aromas, the most unrepentant gourmets, drenched in chemical and caricature caramel will no doubt find nothing to want to return to it without doubt ... Missing out on a real, old-style flavor , as we do too little in a sanitized taste universe where all the recipes seem to be pumped from the same book.

The potion is, as usual with our Auvergne friends, perfectly made. The safety is flawless, which added to a very low price in this category of 50/50 e-liquids should allow as many people as possible to try the adventure.

See you soon for new hazy assessments,

About the Author

Follower of the tobacco vape and rather "tight" I do not balk in front of good greedy clouders. I love flavor-oriented drippers but am very curious about the evolutions of our common passion for personal vaporizers. Good reasons to make my modest contribution here, no?
