2015 is truly a promising year for joyetech. The Ego One starter kit which remains in my opinion a reference if not the reference in terms of quality / price ratio, the egrip OLED another variant of box integrating the atomizer intended there also for beginners, the formidable Evic Vt and its look of American sports car, the first box to offer temperature control at Joyetech.
And to continue surfing the success joyetech is offering us a mini version of the Evic VT for the start of the school year: the Evic VTC mini.
This (very) compact box incorporates variable Wattage mode and temperature control identical to those of its big sister.
But she is enhanced with a bypass mode (mode offering mechanical mode behavior to the Evic Vtc), all powered by an interchangeable 18650 battery.
So essential product or banal variation of the best seller what has become of the Evic VT?

The evci Vtc mini is of course compact, its dimensions 22,2 x 38,2 x 82 place it perfectly in the guns of this sector.
The weight is relatively significant, as is often the case with joyetech products, but let's be clear, here no need to take a subscription in a weight room.
From a quality point of view, the Evic Vtc has a (very) neat finish.
Joyetech lives up to its reputation in this area. I'm not sure about the materials, aluminum, steel can be both, but anyway the assembly does not suffer from any flaws, and the satin matte black surface treatment is comfortable in the hands and beautiful to the eye. If the whole takes a little fingerprints the maintenance remains simple (a wipe of the cloth ...).
The magnetic side cover is perfectly maintained by two magnets, the precision of the manufacture of the element prohibits any form of play.
Note that later you will be able to acquire different colors to personalize and brighten up your box (I admit that I find the idea more than interesting ... remains to know the price).
The Design is simple and sober. A rectangular parallelepiped with rounded edges. The screen is slightly smaller than that of the Evic Vt, but it displays the exact same information, in the same layout. Perfectly readable, it is located in the middle of the edge. It is on this same slice you will find the different buttons and the mini USB socket.
The buttons are perfectly adjusted no noise of castanets to be feared.
Finally, let's talk about the 510 pin, if some see it floating, and others on a spring ... I have trouble it seems very stiff, not really fixed, but it allows to be flush and that's all that account.
For the moment this Evic Vtc mini corresponds perfectly to my expectations, we hope that the continuation will confirm this first good impression.

What to say ? This box has the same functions as the Evic vt, namely:
- Temperature control: allows you to adjust the temperature of the resistance for a better rendering of flavors. It also reduces the consumption of e-liquid and energy. In this mode your resistance will be between 0,05 and 1 ohm.
- Power variation: adjust the power of your eVic VTC mini from 1 to 60 Watts. With this mode your resistances can range from 0,10 to 3,5 ohm.
- The OLED display allows you to view the different modes used, power, voltage, etc., but also the number of puffs or the duration of vaping.
Add the new bypass mode operating within the same resistance limits as the WV mode and the fact that the box uses an interchangeable 18650 battery, and voila.
Joyetech corrects what some reproached its big sister.
Note the micro USB socket which allows recharging, use in pass-trought, and updating the firmware (yes me too, here I am under the spell!).
In terms of security, the Vtc mini has everything you need ... no worries with Joyetech on this point.

Nothing great about the box, it's clean well presented but not super original.
The packages at Joyetech follow each other and are similar.
Despite everything it is complete and the manual is of course very comprehensive, and in French (cocoricooooooooooooo!) And just for that the package deserves a good rating.
I am a little surprised that Joyetech does not provide a battery with its box, it is not in its habit, but it is fair game to stay at a reasonable price.
Appreciations in use
- Transport facilities with the test atomizer: Ok for an inside jacket pocket (no deformations)
- Disassembly and cleaning facilities: Easy, even standing on the street, with a simple Kleenex

This box is an example of the kind, easy to live and to handle. Its compactness makes it suitable for nomadic use.
The controls are identical to the Evic VT so super simple, especially as the manual in French explains everything.
As for the vape, here she is as good as her big sister, and behaves perfectly in the three modes available.
The mini VT is able to meet the requirements of all vapers who want a versatile box, whether they are beginners or (very) experienced.

The mood ticket of the reviewer
To begin objectively this Evic VTC mini is a success in every way.
Compact, efficient, simple and well built, this box has everything you need to make a box.
A large screen, three WV, TC and bypass operating modes, a power of 60watts, and finally a good management of the battery.
So without any surprise, we can only love this machine capable of accompanying us with happiness on a daily basis.
But I admit, I'm still a little disappointed,
The Evic VT shone with its design inspired by American muscle cars. The Evic Vtc mini is much more consensual, more discreet the only thing that we offer to distinguish your box are rear covers of other colors. Here is the summary of my thoughts when I saw her the first time ...
But in use after a few days, I totally forgot his family ties. This box shares a large part of the genetic heritage of its big sister, but should not and cannot be compared to it.
No this box must be compared to the ipv mini, smok m65,…. And against these competitors, it is essential in my opinion in more than one way!
A very good, if not an excellent product, which I am sure will be in many hands (male and female) in the weeks to come.
The reasons ?: A very respectable value for money and a very important nomadic ability while being able to offer all the features of a state-of-the-art box!
