Comments on the packaging

The Lips France laboratory is a manufacturer of high-end liquids created in 2013. The laboratory develops and manufactures liquids in accordance with European legislation, it is located in France in the Loire Atlantique region.

Lips France offers different ranges to meet the needs of vapers which include a multitude of flavors for all tastes. The founder of the company, also an expert flavourist, puts all his know-how into developing flavors and balanced recipes, with the objective of taste as well as aromatic restitution and premium quality.

Among the many liquids offered by the laboratory, we find those of the “Le French Liquide” brand, the laboratory’s brand par excellence. This brand of liquids offers a “Wonderful Tart” range which includes 4 juices with the flavors of gourmet and fruity pies from which the Apricot liquid comes.

The Apricot juice is packaged in a transparent flexible plastic bottle with a capacity of 50ml of liquid, the bottle is inserted in a cardboard box.

The base of the recipe is balanced and therefore displays a PG/VG ratio of 50/50. The nicotine level is of course zero, however the liquid is offered in an all-in-one “Easy2share” pack. We thus find the Apricot liquid ready to vape with a NicoMax booster included, we can then obtain 60ml of liquid dosed at a rate of 3mg/ml. A tab lifts on the tip of the bottle to facilitate the addition.

The liquid has also recently been offered as a concentrate for DIY in a bottle with a capacity of 30ml of product.

The Apricot liquid is displayed at a price of €19,90 and thus ranks among the entry-level liquids.

Comments on the taste of the juice

The Apricot liquid offered by the French Liquide brand is a gourmet type juice with flavors of caramelized apricot tart.

At the opening of the bottle, the gourmet notes caused by the pastry flavors of the pie are perfectly felt. We also perceive the sweet and fruity touches of the recipe, the flavors are pleasant and sweet.

At the taste level, the Apricot liquid has a good aromatic power, all the flavors that make up the recipe are clearly identifiable in the mouth during tasting even if they do not all have the same taste intensity.

Indeed, the gourmet and pastry flavors of the pie are those which seem to occupy the greatest part in the development of the recipe, a shortcrust pastry faithfully transcribed and having a fairly realistic taste rendering, it seems to come straight from the oven.

The fruity flavors of the apricot are much more discreet, they are nevertheless well perceived thanks in particular to the juicy notes of the flesh of the fruit, once again these fruity flavors are faithful.

Much sweeter notes appear at the end of the tasting, they come from the caramelized flavors of the composition.

The homogeneity between the olfactory and gustatory feelings is perfect.

  • Recommended power for optimal taste: 42 W
  • Type of steam obtained at this power: Normal (type T2)

  • Atomizer used for the review: Juggerknot MR
  • Value of the resistance of the atomizer in question: 0.32Ω
  • Materials used with the atomizer: Nichrome, Cotton

Comments and recommendations for an optimal tasting

So I added the nicotine booster directly into the vial to obtain a nicotine level of 3mg/ml. The cotton used is Holy Fiber from HOLY JUICE LAB. The resistance is a fused clapton in NI80 with a value of 0,32Ω. The atomizer used for the tasting is the Juggerknot MR from QP Design.

With this configuration of vape, the inspiration is quite soft, the passage in the throat and the hit obtained are rather light.

When exhaling, the gourmet flavors of the shortcrust pastry are the ones that are expressed first, the gourmet notes of the pastry are well transcribed in the mouth. Then come, but with less intensity, the juicy and sweet notes of apricot which delicately accompany the shortcrust pastry.
Additional and slightly more pronounced sweet notes are felt at the end of expiration, coming to close the tasting, these notes come from the caramelized flavors of the composition.

The liquid can be perfectly suitable for any type of material thanks in particular to the balance of its composition (ratio of PG/VG of 50/50). However, I preferred to savor it with a restricted type draw in order to preserve the balance of flavors and more particularly those fruity of the apricot. With a more airy draw these flavors are still present but with much less tenacity.

The liquid is rather soft and light, its tasting is not disgusting.

Overall average (excluding packaging) of the Vapelier for this juice: 4.81 / 5 4.8 5 out of stars

My mood ticket on this juice

The Apricot liquid offered by Le French Liquide is a juice with flavors of caramelized apricots and shortcrust pastry that brilliantly combines the gourmet and fruity notes of the flavors that make it up. Indeed, all the flavors are well felt in the mouth during the tasting even if they do not all have the same taste intensity.

The gourmet notes of the shortcrust pastry are omnipresent, thus reinforcing the gourmet touches of the recipe throughout the tasting. The fruity notes are a little weaker, expressing themselves through the juicy and sweet touches they provide in the mouth. Finally, to close the tasting, additional sweet notes are perceived from the caramelized notes of the apricot.

The result is a pleasant composition combining perfectly, and I would even say intelligently, the gourmet, fruity and juicy notes of the flavors making up the recipe, all with a relatively faithful taste rendering and very pleasant in the mouth.

The liquid is quite soft and light, its taste is not disgusting, the Apricot liquid displays a score of 4,81 within the Vapelier. He thus obtains, and it is tastefully deserved, his “Top Jus”!
