Comments on the packaging

A Toulouse manufacturer present in the vaping ecosystem since 2013, Ekoms has carved out a place in the plethora of vaping liquids.
With a relatively complete catalog, our southerners work with seriousness and obstinacy. A pledge of this involvement: the integration of the AFNOR standard development committee on e-liquids to (voluntary) standards even more severe than those proposed by the TPD.

Our potion of the day is the Aoda, only proposed in large format of 20ml or 50ml. About us, Ekoms wisely sent us a bottle of 50ml.

These two versions are obviously without nicotine and in overdosed aromas allowing the addition of nicotine base or not according to the needs of each one.

The PG / VG ratio is 35/65 allowing us to achieve beautiful clouds without ignoring the flavors.

The resale price generally found is 22,90 € for 50ml.

Vapelier's note regarding the respect of various conformities (except religious): 4.5 / 5 4.5 5 out of stars

Comments on the security, legal, health and religious aspects

Without the addictive substance, the display requirements are much less.
Despite everything, Ekoms offers us a product to French “standards” enjoying a high level of security.

Not mandatory, I would nevertheless have appreciated a pictogram for the visually impaired, always commendable attention to a public having to deal with the handicap.

  • Does the graphic design of the label and the product name agree ?: Yes
  • Global correspondence of the packaging with the product name: Yes
  • The packaging effort made is in accordance with the price category: Yes

Vapelier's note regarding packaging with regard to juice category: 5 / 5 5 5 out of stars

Comments on the packaging

There really is nothing to complain about other than perhaps praising it. Very clearly, Ekoms called on image professionals and devoted the necessary budgetary efforts when a brand wants to make its mark on a very richly supplied sector.

Vapelier's note on the sensory experience: 5/5 5 5 out of stars

Comments on the taste of the juice

The description is not a shadow of a doubt. The Aoda is a competitor of the famous Red Astaire.

"A powerful invocation of red fruits sublimates a fresh blend of anise, eucalyptus and menthol."

Often copied but rarely equaled, how will Ekoms flavor specialists fare? ...

The first impression is that of a rounder juice on the palate with less roughness and aggressiveness. The percentage of vegetable glycerin is no stranger to this and it “sticks” rather well to the recipe.

The aromas are precise, fine and rather subtle. The dosages are perfectly done to obtain a very homogeneous juice with an obvious alchemy.
Menthol and anise are completely under control in order to calm the ardor, their presence is at the service of red fruits which are best expressed in a well-balanced freshness.

The aromatic power is moderate. The hit obtained by my potion at 3mg / ml is light. The holding and the rest in the mouth are well calibrated. The status of allday is obtained handily.

Tasting recommendations

  • Recommended power for optimal taste: 35W
  • Type of vapor obtained at this power: Dense
  • Hit type obtained at this power: Light
  • Atomizer used for the review: Dripper Zénith & Bellus Rba UD
  • Value of the resistance of the atomizer in question: 0.5Ω
  • Materials used with the atomizer: Kanthal, Stainless steel, Cotton

Comments and recommendations for an optimal tasting

Versatile, the juice will accommodate many atomizing devices.
For my part and as usual, I opted mainly for a dripper, more oriented flavors with reasonable assemblies and settings.

Recommended Moments

  • Recommended times of the day: Morning, Aperitif, All afternoon during everyone's activities, Early evening to relax with a drink, Late evening with or without herbal tea, Night for insomniacs
  • Can this juice be recommended as an All Day Vape: Yes

Overall average (excluding packaging) of the Vapelier for this juice: 4.42 / 5 4.4 5 out of stars

My mood ticket on this juice

Obviously the Aoda does more than evoke the famous English bestseller with a reddish color recognizable among a thousand.

Ekoms, however, did not engage in plagiarism. I want proof of the name, perfectly distant and unrelated or any other connection with the potion I am referring to.
The recipe Toulouse is indeed an original recipe.

Red fruits, anise, eucalyptus and menthol to offer a fruity and fresh vape.
The alchemy of this set is obvious and takes advantage of a precise dosage of aromas to play it subtle and delicate.

Personally, I don't like Red Astaire and these aromas bothered me a bit. Is it for this reason? In any case, this proposal did not put me off and I even give it some support.

Perhaps lovers of the taste category will scream haro on what they consider to be a cloning, personally all the criteria are met to make Aoda a very good juice.

See you soon for new hazy adventures,

Marquolive.

About the Author

Follower of the tobacco vape and rather "tight" I do not balk in front of good greedy clouders. I love flavor-oriented drippers but am very curious about the evolutions of our common passion for personal vaporizers. Good reasons to make my modest contribution here, no?
