Back to the future continuing to explore the 814 range that brings us back to the 12th century with an e-liquid with a famous name in the region where I live: Aliénor.
Science fiction enthusiasts, make no mistake about it. Aliénor is not the last part of the Alien saga nor even a vulgar series B. She was queen in her time of two kingdoms, France and England, which was not an easy task given the millennial antagonism of the two nations; it was renowned for its great beauty, its ease of moving from one king to another and its pronounced taste for vaping in ULR.
Here we have more prosaically an e-liquid with a beautiful yellow hue that makes you want to lean over it with your favorite material.
In terms of packaging, we find the usual clarity of information dear to the manufacturer and my faith, there is nothing to reproach, all the crucial informative mentions for the vapoteur are present.

Eleanor was, it is said, of such perfect beauty that the heaviest of heads turned in her path. It was also very compliant with the legal notices if we are to believe the label and especially focused on safety, which was an advantage at the time when the condoms were in the guts of various deceased animals, which was not really sexy.
In any case, everything is on the bottle. Including a DLUO whose presence is always reassuring. In terms of security, Alienor is doing very well!

Comments on the packaging
The packaging obeys the logic of the range and we therefore find the transparent glass bottle as well as a nice label and very in the pre-medieval spirit of the concept. On the label, there is a Polaroïd® by Aliénor.
There is not much to complain about this packaging which has proven itself. So I'm just going to crack a very slight reproach by claiming that an amber-colored bottle might have been better suited to the spirit of the range and also to the protection of the precious liquid against the sneak attacks of the sun. But I admit that it is more by spirit of nitpicking than a real reproach because I lowered the 20ml before the ultraviolet rays do their destructive office.

Comments on the taste of the juice
Perfection is difficult to reproduce.
I am in love with the 814 range and the liquids that I have already tested have convinced me of the imperative need for this brand to do what it is doing at the moment, namely to spread like a trail of powder so it seems to me vital that all vapers in love with good gourmets test it.
Having said that, I was not convinced by Aliénor. We have a mixture of vanilla paste and caramel on inhalation and exhalation and it seems rather pleasant, but there is a strong rum flavor that thwarts the greedy mission of the two aforementioned elements. Indeed, rum is rather spicy, it is “hard” on the tongue, which makes the taste buds saturate fairly quickly under the barely contained aggressiveness of the liquid. It's a shame because you can really feel Aliénor's pastry quality in the back of the mouth. Moreover, by drastically lowering the power, the juice tends to balance itself better and take on roundness.
So, a gourmet juice but lacking in sweetness and velvety. Is the rum note too pronounced? Is the aroma itself a little too difficult to place? Is the choice of a 60/40 base wise? I do not know. But in any case, the result is, for me, below the other liquids in the range. Too bad but normal. The best manufacturers cannot always have the necessary stroke of genius in each product and the Aliénor seems unfinished in this version, unlike the other juices that I have tested with great pleasure until then.

Comments and recommendations for an optimal tasting
To try to overcome the aggressiveness of rum, I recommend vaping this liquid with a fairly high resistance (1.4 / 1.7) without pushing the power. Between 12 and 14W, Aliénor takes on roundness. Higher up, we quickly catch the spice.

My mood ticket on this juice
I'm still a little over my hunger ... Because if the potential of the recipe remains intact, the realization did not seem to me to be successful. A little too aggressive for a gourmand, vanilla or caramel are difficult to express themselves as they are covered by the spicy predominance of rum.
In addition, we don't really know what we are vaping. Which would not be a fault but a quality if the liquid was delicious. There, we hesitate, we oscillate, we try to make our way through a taste that is too powerful, too hard to give gourmet pleasure to our taste buds.
This does not in any way reduce the quality of the other products in the range, but with regard to Aliénor, to use a very useful commonplace when you do not like a liquid too much, “it's not my vape!” ...
