I just discovered a new range of e-liquids and I completely fell in love ...
It turns out that the maker resides in my department and he very kindly agreed to open the doors to his alchemist lair for me. So I visited this laboratory for you with, I admit, great happiness!
It is a small “family” type business, everything is artisanal, no industrial machine around. And yet, we do not joke with health and safety as shown in the photos below. Not a speck of dust, everything is clean and tidy, far from the image of Épinal that one could have of an artisanal laboratory where test tubes and retorts of all kinds would stand side by side with jars filled with toad eyes or mandrake!

The bottles are carefully filled by hand. Labels are also affixed by hand and meticulously dosed for each recipe ...
This range is purely French with 100% verified products including Propylene Glycol of vegetable and non-petroleum origin.
My only regret and you will agree with me that it is very selfish 😈 is that this laboratory does not sell to individuals but only to professionals. So you will only find Vapeurs de Provence e-liquids in online shops or physical shops.
For the characteristics of the e-liquids in this range:
I found the price in store: 11.90 euros for 20ml, or 0.591 euros per milliliter! The product is therefore at the entry level at the price level. It is therefore excellent additional news to put to the credit of Vapeur de Provence, the humility linked to craftsmanship. The dosages are in 6, 12 or 18 mg of nicotine for a proportion in PG / VG of 50/50.
The conditioning :
The brand uses very elegant black glass bottles that perfectly preserve the precious liquid from light. They are equipped with a plastic stopper with a glass pipette and a needle tip.
Each bottle bears its name, that of the range as well as the name of the laboratory. We also find the proportions of PG / VG, the dosage of nicotine, without forgetting the tamper-evident seal. We are therefore on a packaging that flirts with the top of the basket for a range that displays a content price.
For legal, safety, health and religious compliance:
Each bottle is equipped with child safety, a clear pictogram and raised marking for the visually impaired.
All the components of the juice are strictly indicated on the label. There is no alcohol, no essential oils, but there is the presence of water specified on the label. To date, few studies enlighten us on the subject but the respiratory tract in general and the lungs in particular being aqueous environments, we are legitimately entitled to think that it is not the worst element that we can vape . This is of course a personal reflection and no doubt that in the near future, science will look into the possible risks if there are any.
The liquids comply with HALAL certifications, but I admit I don't know if they are KOSHER.
The initials of the laboratory are roughly on the label along with a telephone number in order to reach the consumer service and a lot number is clearly identifiable.
We can't do better in terms of safety and I salute the manufacturer's desire for transparency, which shows that, even as a small artisanal unit, we can very well understand the health and safety issues of the development of vaping in France. Well done Gentlemen!
The MOST WANTED range:
As we have seen, the bottle is sober, pleasant and distinguished and fits perfectly with the name of the range and the product. The inspiration is clearly the “public enemies” of the USA during the Wild West era and the label is furiously reminiscent of the yellow wanted poster posters seen in westerns.
A "Wild West" theme based on rebel personalities ... pretty cool!
A range of eight E-Liquids in which we find:
Billy The Kid:
It emerges from this bottle, a young and fiery scent, a candy smell (rhubarb / marshmallow) which corresponds quite well to the image one can have of the young Outlaw !.
To vape, it is an e-liquid that does not hold high power but on a resistance of 1.5 Ω at 12 watts it vapes very well and reveals all the richness of its flavors.
There is the tangy side of rhubarb which is attenuated by the marshmallow which is very present in the mouth. These two ingredients are perfectly and fairly returned to the mouth for a regressive pleasure and necessarily punishable by hanging!
Jesse James:
I smell first of all toasted almonds with pecans, maybe a hint of peanut, but I didn't feel the hint of tobacco. Was the historic gang leader therefore an unrepentant foodie?
In the vape, it is rather a suave taste dominated by pecans, the blond tobacco aspect very furtively makes an appearance among the fruits present. I did a test with a resistance of 0.3Ω up to 30 watts and it is an e-liquid that perfectly supports heat and high powers.
Butch Cassidy:
By opening the bottle, I discover an extremely green liquid, a beautiful freshness that makes me think of a meadow. For a moment, I took Laura Ingalls running with her arms wide open on the plane (we do not make fun, huh!). 😳
So I built my resistance to a value of 1.2 Ω and I tested up to 14 watts. That's the limit, I should have done a higher resistance. However, at 10 watts with 1.2 Ω, we discover a fabulous original liquid, scented, almost lemon without the lemon being present, it is quite special but if you like "Zen" atmospheres, do not hesitate. I doubt the bank robber was so “zen” himself! 😆
Cactus, bamboo and cucumber are the main notes of this juice. Mint is hardly noticeable by its taste but rather by its freshness. A subtle summer scent would almost tell me there is watermelon (at least that's my personal feeling).
A surprise that inspired me!
Naichez:
Impossible to go wrong, I know this "Naichez"! Spicy, wild, bewitching, it reminds me of a well-known snake oil-based e-liquid 😆. What better mix to illustrate the proud Apache on the warpath?
To the smell, it is clear, there is citrus lemon but can also be grapefruit. Then, I smell a hint of anise rather than mint, but I think the citrus / licorice mixture must alter my smell a little. On the other hand, liquorice knows how to be discreet to escape the comparison with the e-liquid with the Serpent!
So a juice worked while subtlety.
On a 1Ω resistor, I did not hesitate to increase the power up to 30 watts. This liquid holds well and the flavors are totally consistent with the olfactory experience.
For my taste, I find it slightly weaker than the "snake" and worked well, hat!
Little Horse:
Hey, here's another one I know well! This smell of red fruit dominated by blackberry and this combination of fresh mint reminds me of a famous red liquid with a refreshing chewing gum fragrance.
So for the test, on 0.8Ω, I start at 20 watts. Small mistake on my part because this juice is much less metered menthol than its distant model.
Little Horse was also thought to let us discover the flavors of the fruits: The blackberry must undeniably be part of this liquid with the blackcurrant and maybe even cherry. But mint, associated with these fruits, enhances and reveals all the aromas.
It's a harmonious whole, less powerful than what I expected but also sweeter. It is a walk in the undergrowth, a sweetness which has its own charisma and which captivates us with its charm.
I enjoyed this liquid by steaming on a resistance of 1.2Ω to 13 watts.
Sitting bull:
When I open the bottle, the smell is surprising and. Those who know the walks in the garrigue, with this finely aniseed scent of fennel, will have an idea of the taste and the atmosphere in which we immerse ourselves. Was it the scent that wafted over the Little Big Horn meadow before the fight that made Sitting Bull and Custer's swansong legendary?
On a resistance of 1Ω in 16 watts, the liquid passes very well and indeed, in the mouth, I have this light aroma which looks a lot like a rather refreshing fennel.
As with Butch Cassidy, we find this powerful blend of mint / licorice that we barely recognize because it is sweetened by other fruits or spices (it reminds me of kiwi). A liquid that exudes youth and is reminiscent of country walks.
Calamity Jane:
Here is the most beautiful surprise of this range! You are greedy? It's for you!
When I opened the vial, I thought I had opened my oven with a hypnotic smell of mellow cake. But I could not wait ...
The desire to bite into this cake pushes me to make a resistance of 0.5Ω. No problem, I set my power to 18 watts and there I start my gourmet tasting.
Indeed, it's really delicious. A pastry juice with the taste of homemade sweet cake with a zest of lemon, vanilla and slightly sweet. There is no need to tell you more, gourmands do not have to hesitate, they will savor this juice with immense pleasure as Calamity Jane savored her favorite twisted gut!
Geronimo:
A juice for the bravest! A juice built for fearless warriors, like the courageous Apache chief.
The day I tested this e-liquid, I had a cold. Thinking that this would be a bad idea, I still wanted to feel the direction of this mixture…. Phew! My eyes still sting. 😯 I thought it was eucalyptus, but later I got confirmation that mint crystals were the main constituents of this extremely strong mixture. However, apart from clearing the sinuses and freshening the breath, we gently feel the slight spiciness of Ginger aftertaste. As for Yuzu (which is a Chinese lemon), its presence is only necessary to better accentuate the icy aspect of Geronimo.
No matter your resistance or the power chosen, it will blow your mind! I highly recommend this liquid in case of congested sinuses, that's for sure!
