In the recent series of Subtanks that Kanger unveiled to us a few weeks ago, here is the Nano. He is the youngest of the gang and he ate less soup than his comrades because he is smaller and lighter. Unlike them, it does not know how to do everything because it does not have an accessory plate allowing you to build your own resistance and must be “content”, if I may say so, with Kangertech resistors made for the range.
The clearomiser presents well. He seems well built and the family resemblance is a no-brainer in his case since they look like these elders like two drops of water.

Reviewer's comments on physical characteristics and perceived quality
We can see that we are on the serious side and that Kangertech has raised its level of manufacturing requirements in recent months. First of all, the clearomiser presents itself well with its shining stainless steel and its red seals which contrast with the metal. And then the construction is serious, well finished for this price range. No doubt on the podium of clearomizers in terms of its quality of finish. Its size makes it easily compatible with the new mini mod-boxes that are coming out in recent times and its proprietary, change-over resistance-based operation seems easy to manage. Definitely a clearo to advise for beginner vapers who want to switch to more serious equipment before embarking on the deep end of the reconstructable.

Reviewer's comments on functional features
The manufacturer's bias for this product must be taken into account. This is a new generation clearomizer, accepting to be mounted with 1.2Ω or 0.5Ω resistors and intended to be aerial or very aerial. Lovers of tight draws, go your way, this clearomizer is not for you. When we understand this, we can move on and regret that the 510 connection is hopelessly fixed. Especially for a clearo intended rather to travel on Spinner or Ego type batteries or mini electronic mods, we can remain cautious about any compatibility dead ends that the Nano could encounter. I have not encountered this problem with all of my hardware, I admit it clearly, but this defect (recurring at Kanger) should in my opinion be revised.
Otherwise, little interaction with the machine is possible and no more is needed. You can easily influence the airflow by choosing between 1 or 2 2mm holes or by attaching to the so-called “cyclops” hole (rectangular rounded at the corners) which will allow you to experience the joys of direct inhalation.

The drip-tip provided is correctly made but does not suit me personally. Do not stop at this opinion which is only purely subjective. It is wide opening to serve the aerial rendering of the Nano.

A real lesson in packaging that Kanger offers us. Everything is there! The instructions are clear, detailed, beautiful and in French please !!!!!!! A bag of spare parts. An additional pyrex and two resistors, the first in 1.2Ω and the second in 0.5Ω. And all in a very designer and well-designed box. The total class!

In use, the Nano is very comfortable and easy. As any atomizer has an airy tendency and even more so when using the sub-ohmic resistance, it consumes a lot but we will forgive it with regard to its total absence of leaks and its very stable behavior.

The mood ticket of the reviewer
I now come to the only objective defect that I could find in this atomizer: its temperature.
Indeed, the aerial bias of the Nano is an asset to make big clouds and to appreciate this type of vape. However, with only one open hole, the Clearomiser is already very airy. With two, we are at the limit of direct inhalation and with the Cyclops hole, we are right in it. However, the mediocre heat dissipation of the Clearo means that we end up with a hot vapor in most cases and whatever the chosen resistance. The only way to calm the heat a bit is to position yourself on the Cyclops hole, which drastically limits the versatility of the ato. Obviously, it is impossible to “gently” vape a fruity or minty or fresh liquid with such a device if you like an airy vape but controlled in the mouth. The heat immediately supplants the flavors and diminishes the freshness inherent in the juice.
De facto, this clearo is intended for fans of tobacco e-liquids, gourmet or gourmet tobacco and who appreciate a draw that goes from air to extremely air. And this is its only “flaw”: its lack of versatility. However, as long as we are part of this category of vapers, we will find with the Nano an object very pleasant to use, very safe, very well built and perfectly in line with its time.
