The Teslacigs Sparrow Kit is a very small set-up. Just bigger than an 18650 battery, we reach a dimension of 11cm (drip-tip included of course).

For the box, the power is only 22,5W maximum with its built-in battery, it is a micro box that only accepts resistances from 1Ω. Its appearance is that of a box classic but in miniature format, which harmonizes well with these capabilities of 1300mAh, a diameter for the atomizer that does not exceed 18mm diameter and a capacity of 1.2ml.

The functionalities are minimalist, offering a voltage adjustment in five steps: (3.8, 4, 4.2, 4.4, 4.6 and 4.8V) and a bright display for the remaining charge of the battery.

The clearomiser supplied is completely adapted to the box, both by its size and by the resistive value of use of 1.6Ω recommended. With a diameter of 18mm and a height of 30mm (without drip-tip), it has a small capacity of 1.2ml. It presents two adjustable airholes simultaneously, to adjust the vape to the desires of its owner. Its drip-tip offers a cute classic finish.

Well, at first glance, this set-up is intended for beginners who want a first kit to vaper, while maintaining a classic box style and with simplified handling.

Reviewer's comments on physical characteristics and perceived quality

Regarding the box, it is very small but I find it harmonious and it remains ultra-light thanks to its size. It must be said that the battery being proprietary, therefore included, there is no empty weight necessarily. The coating is provided by a black matte paint, which has the effect of reducing fingerprints or liquid.

The buttons on the side are bright aluminum and do not move an eyelash. Very responsive, they are well proportioned for this box. On the side, at the bottom, we can see an opening for recharging the box with a micro USB cable provided. There is no screen but bright indications located between the control knobs and the switch, to give the value of the applied voltage.

Above the switch, four small bright square indicators, indicates the charge of the battery.

The pin ensures a good contact because it is mounted on spring and adapts perfectly to all the atomizers.

The atomizer is stainless steel mirror effect. It is also a small template with a diameter of 18mm and a total height (with drip-tip and without connection) of 42mm.

The capacity is a classic for this type of product that does not consume much. The 1.2ml present are sufficient in a normal use for a beginner.

The airflow is adjustable and has 2 series of 3 holes, which allows to have a tight to medium vape, with a correct vapor density since the value of the resistance provided is 1.6Ω.

Very simple and functional, it consists of 3 parts (without the resistance) and a proprietary black drip-tip polycarbonate. Its tank is pyrex and allows it to accept all liquids.

Reviewer's comments on functional features

The functions of the box are very simple, it only offers the variable voltage mode by offering 5 stages of 3.8V, 4.2V, 4.4V, 4.6V and 4.8Volts. Just press "+" or "-" to access these changes.

The locking of the box adjustment buttons is not possible but the power off is done by pressing 5 times on the switch, as for powering up.

It has a short-circuit protection, it checks the value of the resistance, gives the battery charge level, recharges via a micro USB port, it goes into overheating protection and the box goes off. voltage as soon as the battery voltage reaches 3.2V. In addition, its sprung pin fits all atomizers.

The features of the atomizer are also considerably simpler. Simply screw on its base a proprietary resistance of a value of 1,6Ω.

Moderately aerial with variable airflow, it can also adapt to 1Ω resistors by increasing the airflow which is adjustable by a swivel ring on 2 x 3 holes.

Its filling is done by unscrewing the upper part of the atomizer by taking the bottom of the tank. It is enough to return this high part and to fill up to the level noted "max", avoiding the center of the chimney.

Teslacigs offers us a beautiful packaging, in a white cardboard box. The kit is very complete, it is a pack ready to vaper.

You will find, in each compartment and on two floors, post-formed foam with the box for the first floor and below, the atomizer, two spare resistors, a micro USB cable for recharging, an additional pyrex tank with enclosed, a notice in several languages, very complete, as well as a certificate of authenticity.

The presentation of the box is very pretty in addition to being complete.

This set is available at an advantageous price of around 40 € which benefits from an excellent quality / price ratio.

The use of the set-up is really childish. The features are minimalist so impossible to make a false move or to be wrong with the Sparrow kit. Everything has already been mentioned in the features chapter.

However, what is not said is how long does the use of this set-up last, is it sufficiently autonomous for its target audience?

With a resistance of 1.6Ω and a capacity of 1.2ml, reaching half a day of use is going to be a bit tight if you use it regularly, but it is sometimes enough for some beginner or occasional users. With lower resistances, the autonomy will necessarily be lower, which is why this box does not support resistances lower than this value. But the filling is easy enough to allow the user to fill his clearo without a hitch. The goal is therefore partially achieved, provided the battery is recharged along the way.

Ergonomically, small hands will be delighted and people wanting a discreet product will appreciate to slide their set-up in the pocket of their jeans without difficulty.

It may be missing a lock adjustment buttons. This allows not to vary the voltage but, rest assured, a long press on the switch of more than 15s, puts the box in standby mode.

The mood ticket of the reviewer

The Teslacigs Sparrow Kit is really a practical product, extremely easy to use, intended mainly for beginners or occasional vapers. It is a light set-up which provides decent vapor. People who do not wish to have constraints related to the reconstruction of resistance or those who seek discretion will be delighted.

This product is designed for approximately half a day of battery life with a resistance value greater than one ohm. Both products, the box and the atomizer, can be disassociated, so you have the opportunity to customize your set-up while still maintaining the basic criteria for each element.

The power of vape is modest but it depends on the chosen voltage and the resistive value to allow a more or less important variation

A good quality set with a very good price / quality ratio. Here is a mini box that will delight more than one or one.
